Chapter 106: Chapter 107: Chen Yuan Fishing Ground

Seeing all eyes fixed on the small hill, Chen Yuan didn’t keep them in suspense and walked directly toward the gap in the construction barrier.

In truth, he was quite excited himself.

Although the entire building was still hidden by the barrier and black tarps, preventing anyone from seeing its true form, the surrounding area had already changed.

There was about a one-meter drop between the small hill and the fishing spots below. Now, sets of stone steps had been built on both sides and in the middle, allowing people to walk up and down easily.

The roughly half-meter gap between the hill and the road at the bend was now connected by a few more steps. No more jumping would be necessary.

"Boss Chen, you’re right on time."

Just as Chen Yuan set foot on the steps, Wang Tao emerged from the gap in the barrier with a cigarette dangling from his lips. "Hang on a second, I’ll have the workers take down all this fencing."

Wang Tao didn’t stay idle while he spoke. Holding the cigarette in one hand, he effortlessly ripped a section of the barrier down with the other.

The display of force made many of the fishermen’s eyes twitch. ’Damn, he’s strong.’

Wang Tao’s workers were also incredibly fast. The entire perimeter of fencing was quickly dismantled, and the draping black tarps were pulled away, instantly revealing the entire building.

"Boss Chen, please inspect our work."

After finishing the teardown, Wang Tao and his men stepped back. But by then, everyone was staring wide-eyed, stunned by the building before them, including Chen Jun and his group.

No one paid Wang Tao any mind.

"This is a restroom?"

The fishermen stared in disbelief.

’You’re telling me *this* is a restroom?’

’This has to be a f*cking clubhouse or a hotel.’

The first thing they saw was the building’s facade, constructed entirely from classical materials that created a solemn, magnificent visual impact. A plaque was mounted directly overhead, engraved with four large words:

Chen Yuan Fishing Ground!

The script was forceful and elegant, looking as though it came from the hand of an ancient calligraphy master. It instantly made one feel as if they were being immersed in high culture.

Its appearance alone was a far cry from any restroom; it looked more like a five-star hotel.

"Boss Chen, can we go inside and take a look?"

One of the fishermen couldn’t wait to see the inside.

"Of course. This place was built for you gentlemen’s convenience. Go on and have a look, but space is limited, so please try not to crowd in," Chen Yuan said with a smile, snapping out of his own daze.

’He was also eager to see it himself, but the customer always comes first.’

"Let’s go, let’s go! Let’s get a look inside."

The whole crowd of fishermen surged inside.

In the center of the facade, facing the pond, was a set of automatic doors that slid open as the fishermen approached.

One fisherman, looking at the glass doors—which were colorful yet not garish, possessing a depth that perfectly complemented the classical architecture—couldn’t resist stepping forward and tapping one with his knuckle.

It made a pleasant, metallic sound.

"Damn, Boss Chen! Don’t tell me these automatic doors are made from liuli? Even the best glass wouldn’t make such a pleasant sound."

The fisherman looked at Chen Yuan, completely stunned.

Chen Yuan didn’t know the first thing about it.

But Wang Tao was the expert.

"This gentleman has a good eye. The glass doors and floor-to-ceiling windows are indeed all cast from liuli—and traditional liuli at that."

Holy shit...

The fisherman was even more stunned.

There are three types of liuli, with the traditional kind being the most valuable. In ancient times, only noble families possessed such things.

"What’s traditional liuli? Sounds like something out of a fantasy novel."

The other fishermen were curious.

A fisherman who knew a little something explained it to them. They didn’t really get the details, but they understood one thing loud and clear: it was extremely valuable. Gasps of surprise rippled through the crowd.

’Boss Chen really spared no expense this time.’

Awed and curious, many of the fishermen began examining the Glazed Gate.

"Damn, you guys, look at this!"

Just then, another shocked gasp came from inside.

The fishermen hurried further inside, and a chorus of "Damn!"s immediately followed.

Past the automatic doors was a spacious lobby. It was over ten meters wide and more than fifty square meters in total—incredibly open and grand.

In the very center of the lobby was a winding, ten-meter-long pool. The rockery within it twisted and turned like a coiled dragon, poised to soar into the heavens.

Water trickled down the rockery and flowed out from the dragon’s mouth, accompanied by a faint mist that shrouded the pool, making it look like a hazy, ethereal paradise.

Combined with the five-meter-high ceilings, the vast space created a stunning visual impact, as if they were truly witnessing a dragon coiling through a mountain landscape.

"Damn, is this a ’dragon soaring through the heavens’?"

"Or maybe ’a carp leaping over the dragon’s gate.’ Since it’s facing the pond, it’s a fitting blessing."

The fishermen discussed animatedly, utterly amazed. One of them stepped forward to stare at the dragon-like rockery, his eyes glinting as if he recognized the preciousness of the material.

"Whoa, there are murals, too! Are these carved right into the wall?"

The fishermen looked around. The classical architecture was adorned with various carved murals, each one elegant and dignified.

With its upturned eaves, painted rafters, and carved beams, every detail of the hall exuded a classical solemnity, tempered with a graceful and magnificent style.

"These support pillars, and the chairs and coffee tables placed around the lobby... I get the feeling the materials are something special."

One fisherman went up to touch a pillar and its mural, then tried sitting in one of the chairs. He felt certain the materials were out of the ordinary, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on why.

"Hey, look over here!"

To the left of the lobby was a ten-meter-long corridor with two rooms built along it. Their interiors were just as classical and dignified.

In addition to the carved murals, the walls were adorned with other decorations that perfectly complemented the overall design.

"Whoa, they even have a tea-brewing set. This must be a lounge area for relaxing and chatting."

"This place... it’s even grander than the reception hall at my company."

"The style is really nice. I feel like I could unwind just by resting here for a bit."

The fishermen discussed in small groups. If the fish weren’t biting, they could come here to relax for a while and recharge from their busy lives.

"The area on the right is a casual dining room."

Next, they toured the other side. It was less classical and more modern, furnished with lounge sofas and numerous round tables.

Despite being more modern, it didn’t clash with the overall style in the slightest.

"This dining and lounge area is great."

"Not only is the atmosphere pleasant, but the temperature is also very comfortable. There must be central air keeping it climate-controlled. Boss Chen truly spared no expense."

"He really did. I have a feeling every material used in here is something special, probably the highest quality available."

"I think the rockery in the pool is the most stunning part. The ten-meter structure twists and flows like a living landscape coalescing into a dragon, ready to ascend into the heavens amidst the mist. For a second, it feels like you’ve stepped into a world of myth."

"What part of this is a damn restroom? Even five-star hotels aren’t this magnificent!"

After touring the main lobby and the two wings, the fishermen were utterly blown away.

They knew Boss Chen had vision; a building with such a large footprint and high ceilings was never going to be simple. Even so, they were still completely and utterly stunned.

From the style and materials to the spatial layout and even the smallest details, everything exuded an elegant, solemn, and magnificent grandeur.

’And they called this a restroom?’

’Even a five-star hotel couldn’t compare.’

"Wait, where are the actual restrooms?"

The fishermen suddenly snapped back to reality. They had been so mesmerized that they’d forgotten the building’s primary function. After looking around for so long, they still hadn’t seen a single toilet.

"Behind the screen..."

One of the fishermen’s reminders was like a wake-up call.

’The hillside had been excavated, hadn’t it? They’d seen everywhere else, so the only place left was the area behind the screen.’

One by one, the fishermen headed behind the screen.

"Even this screen is magnificent..."

A massive screen stood before the passage carved into the hillside. It was delicately painted with a majestic landscape, its brushstrokes seemingly tracing the splendor of the nation.

Beside it were the four words: Chen Yuan Fishing Ground. The word "Fishing" was especially prominent, as if symbolizing the angling profession and the fishermen’s passion and dedication to their craft.

"Damn, shower rooms?"

The passage behind the screen wasn’t as spacious, so the fishermen had to take turns looking. But every person who went past it was left stunned.

The rooms on either side weren’t toilets, but were labeled as "Shower Rooms" on their doors.

"There’s a Fish King in this fishing ground. Boss Chen must be thinking about what happens if someone falls in while fighting it."

With a little thought, it all made sense to the fishermen.

’You had to admit, Boss Chen thought of everything.’

There weren’t many shower stalls—just one on the left and one on the right. Farther back were the actual restrooms, three on each side, which was more than enough to meet the fishermen’s needs.

After touring the entire building, the fishermen were all full of praise, completely blown away.

Meanwhile, the fishing ground’s group chat was also exploding with excitement.
