Evelyn Grant didn’t understand what he was trying to say.

"So, I haven’t done anything to wrong you! On the contrary, you’re the one who went around saying you loved me, making everyone think I was the only one for you—even I believed it! But the moment I turned my back, you were fooling around with another man and even got pregnant by him!"

The more Julian Sterling spoke, the angrier he became. His handsome, gentle face was contorted with rage. "I’m giving you a chance now! You should be grateful you spent so much time sucking up to my parents. They’re still putting in a good word for you, which is the only reason I’m willing to let this go! Just get an abortion, and I can try to convince myself to accept that this wasn’t your first time."

His words almost made Evelyn Grant laugh.

"Is not being a virgin a capital offense now?"

And she had no intention of looking back.

Julian Sterling started to panic again. He struggled to suppress the pounding in his chest. "But you’re fine now, aren’t you? You were acquitted!"

Pressing her lips together in thought, Evelyn Grant took out her phone and found the number Ryan Sterling had given her.

Without hesitating, she dialed.

She was thinking she would treat him to dinner to thank him properly in person!

A woman’s voice!
