Cyrus lowered his gaze to hide the small smile appearing on his lips.

Meanwhile, Calen had already stopped caring about anything else. He quickly finished the curry in his bowl before licking the corner of his lips.

"Can I have more?" he asked, looking at Roxanna with his puppy eyes.

"You haven’t even tried the other dishes yet!" Roxanna immediately protested.

Calen looked toward the rest of the food. There were still the crispy chicken fillets and mashed potatoes waiting for them.

After tasting the curry, his earlier hesitation had completely disappeared. "Then I’ll eat those first!"

Roxanna laughed. "Alright, alright. Try the chicken."

She picked up one of the crispy chicken fillets and placed it on Calen’s plate. "Just bite it."

Calen immediately did as she said. The moment his sharp teeth broke through the crispy outer layer, a loud crunch could be heard.

His ears immediately perked up, so Roxanna leaned forward eagerly. "Well?"

Calen didn’t answer. Instead, he took another bite.

Crunch.

Then another.

Crunch.

Within seconds, the entire piece of chicken had disappeared into his mouth.

Roxanna stared at his empty hand. "I guess that means you like it."

Calen quickly nodded. "Give me another one!"

Before Roxanna could reach for another piece, Zeir’s hand moved first. "Don’t eat everything by yourself."

Calen immediately frowned. "There’s plenty!"

"And there are five of us," Zeir added. "Roxanna hasn’t even eaten much yet."

As soon as he said that, Luan held a piece of chicken in front of Roxanna’s lips. "You need to eat more instead of just sitting there and watching us."

Without protesting, Roxanna immediately ate the chicken from Luan’s hand, and she immediately melted at the taste of the delicious chicken.

[It’s been so long since I ate something like this,] Roxanna thought happily. [Next time, I’m definitely asking Cyrus to make fried chicken!]

After that, each of her husbands began feeding her from time to time, and Roxanna happily did the same for them.

Before they even realized it, all the food was gone.

"That’s the best meal I’ve ever tasted!" Calen exclaimed excitedly. He immediately turned toward Cyrus. "You should cook more next time!"

Cyrus hissed and narrowed his eyes at him. "I’m not your personal cook. If you want to eat more, then you should learn how to cook it yourself."

"But I can’t cook!" Calen protested.

"You can learn," Cyrus replied calmly. "It’s not like I knew how to cook before this either. I can teach you."

Calen gasped dramatically. He even pinched his own arm to make sure he wasn’t dreaming.

"Are you possessed?" Calen asked suspiciously.

Cyrus let out a heavy sigh. "I just want someone else besides Azul and me to know how to cook. That way, if neither of us is here, there will still be someone who can cook for our wife."

Hearing that, Roxanna immediately straightened her back and perked up her ears. "But I can cook too," she quickly pointed out.

Cyrus shook his head without hesitation. "What’s the point of having five husbands if you still have to cook all the time?"

Roxanna stared at Cyrus for a few seconds. Then she slowly looked around at the other four men sitting with them.

[He has a point.]

She had five husbands. Five!

If she still had to cook for herself every day, then what exactly were all these husbands for?

[Wait, no. That sounds wrong.]

Roxanna quickly shook the thought out of her head. Calen, however, seemed to take Cyrus’s words very seriously.

He looked down at his hands before looking at the empty bowls in front of them. "Then I’ll learn."

Everyone immediately turned toward him, even Cyrus himself looked slightly surprised.

After all, among Roxanna’s other husbands, Calen was the last person anyone would choose to cook.

Calen puffed out his chest. "If learning how to cook means Roxanna can eat delicious food whenever she wants, then I’ll learn!"

Luan suddenly clapped his hands, but it sounded more sarcastic than encouraging. "I can’t wait to eat your cooking."

Calen narrowed his eyes at him. "I won’t give you any."

Before the two of them could start arguing, Roxanna quickly spoke up. "Actually, there’s something else I want to talk to all of you about! Would you like to listen?"

Their attention immediately shifted toward her. Calen forgot about his argument with Luan, while Zeir and Cyrus also turned to look at her.

Roxanna smiled when she saw that everyone was listening. "I’ve been thinking about our settlement lately. Don’t you think it looks a little too plain?"

The four men exchanged glances. They had lived there for so long that they had never really thought about it. To them, as long as the huts were strong enough to protect them from the rain and wind, there was nothing wrong with how they looked.

Roxanna could already tell what they were thinking from their expressions. "I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with the settlement. I just think it would look much prettier if we added some colors."

"Colors?" Calen repeated curiously.

"Yes!" Roxanna nodded eagerly. "We can add colors to the walls of the huts, or maybe even draw some simple patterns on them. It doesn’t have to be anything complicated. I just want the settlement to look more lively."

"I already found a way to make the colors ourselves, but I’ll need your help," Roxanna continued. "There are a lot of things we need to collect, and I don’t think I can do everything alone."

"Of course we’ll help," Luan immediately replied. He did not even need to know what she wanted him to do first.

Zeir nodded as well. "Just tell us what you need."

Calen quickly raised his hand. "I’ll help too!"

Cyrus looked at the three of them before turning back to Roxanna. "You should explain what you’re planning first."

"Oh, right!" Roxanna suddenly remembered something.

She reached into her inventory, and a thick book appeared in her hands a moment later.

The moment the book appeared out of nowhere, all four men naturally looked at it.

Roxanna placed it on the floor between them and opened the cover. "Look! I found this book that teaches us how to make colors using things we can find in nature."
