Chapter 368: Let’s Make Vixeria More Colorful

After scrolling through the cookbook, Roxanna finally found several dishes that she used to eat often before the apocalypse hit.

There was meat curry, crispy fried chicken, and mashed potatoes.

Roxanna looked at the shelves and noticed that many of their seasonings were starting to run out, so it seemed like she really needed to buy a lot of things. Especially since certain ingredients needed to make the dishes wouldn’t be easy to find in this world.

"Cyrus, do you want to fetch some chicken for me?" Roxanna finally asked Cyrus.

They did have a supply of meat, but there was no chicken.

"Of course," Cyrus answered without thinking much about it. "The others are out hunting and training anyway, so I can ask them to help me catch more chickens."

Roxanna was about to tell him that they didn’t need that many, but she suddenly stopped when an idea had just crossed her mind.

"I think we can have a feast together today, just us."

The last time they had planned to celebrate Roxanna’s return, Luan had been struggling with his heat. In the end, no one had really been in the mood to celebrate.

But things were different now.

Luan was finally doing better, and Roxanna herself had slowly managed to crawl out of the sadness she had been stuck in since leaving Azul behind.

Maybe this was exactly what they needed. A nice meal, some time together, and a chance to finally celebrate being home.

Cyrus seemed to like the idea as well. "Alright, then." He smiled. "I’ll tell the others to come back soon."

After Cyrus left the hut, Roxanna opened the system panel again and started checking what she needed to buy.

"Give me all the ingredients I need for the dishes we’re going to make," Roxanna told the system.

Within seconds, a list appeared in front of her.

Roxanna looked through the list before checking the ingredients she already had.

Unfortunately, most of the things she had bought before were almost gone, so she also added garlic, shallots, onions, pepper, cooking oil, salt, and sugar to her cart.

Roxanna stared at the number for a moment, then she looked at her current Spirit Points.

It barely made a dent.

Without thinking about it any longer, she immediately pressed the buy button.

Even after buying so many things, she still had more than four hundred thousand Spirit Points left.

For the first time, she seriously started wondering what she was supposed to do with all of them.

Roxanna raised an eyebrow. "Fun? Like what?"

Roxanna blinked. "More colorful?"

Her fox ears twitched slightly as she suddenly became interested in the system’s suggestion.

Roxanna blinked as she started imagining it in her head.

[Don’t you think the settlement looks a little too dull?] The system asked.

The settlement was indeed dull. Most of the huts looked almost the same, and there wasn’t much color anywhere.

Roxanna also remembered something she had read in her mother’s journal. If they wanted to improve the tribe’s fertility, one of the most important things was to keep the females happy.

Maybe making the settlement brighter and more colorful could help with that.

"But that would be such a huge project," Roxanna said with a sigh. "And I don’t think buying all the paint from the System Market would be a good idea."

There were simply too many huts in the settlement.

Roxanna might have a lot of Spirit Points right now, but if she bought enough paint and tools for the entire tribe, she would probably burn through a huge amount of them in no time.

Just imagining the cost already made her hesitate.

However, the moment she opened it, all of her complaints suddenly disappeared.

Every page was filled with clear pictures of the materials they would need. The colors looked exactly like the real thing, and the pictures even had a 3D appearance that made it easy to recognize each plant, flower, berry, stone, and other material.
