I am using hacks in cultivation world
Chapter 190: Ch 190- New Talents
Mo Yuan entered the cultivation chamber and closed the door behind him. He walked to the center of the room, sat down cross-legged and took a deep breath.
"Time to paste both talents."
He opened his talent panel and looked at the two newly copied talents. One was True Sight, which he had copied from Mu Shaobei, while the other was Gigantification, copied from Bai Ningning’s Moon Scale Serpent.
Both talents were at Peak Grade and each had its own uses.
"Which one should I paste first?"
Mo Yuan thought for a moment before deciding.
"Let’s start with True Sight."
He gave a mental command.
The next instant, a sharp pain spread through his eyes and deep into his mind. It felt like a terrible headache, as if someone were pressing against his eyeballs while drilling into his brain.
Mo Yuan gritted his teeth and endured it.
Compared to the pain he had experienced during bone marrow tempering, this was nothing. He had already endured far worse, so he simply remained seated and waited for the process to finish.
About fifteen minutes later, the pain finally disappeared.
Mo Yuan slowly opened his eyes.
For a moment, he felt as though the entire world had become clearer. Even the smallest details inside the cultivation chamber appeared sharp, as if he were looking at everything through a high-definition screen.
More surprisingly, he could see in every direction around himself.
It was similar to using Origin Sense, except that he was seeing everything directly through his eyes rather than sensing it with his mind.
Mo Yuan immediately opened his talent panel.
True Sight Talent: Peak Grade [Active/Passive]
"Both active and passive abilities?"
He raised an eyebrow.
"What exactly can this talent do?"
As soon as the question appeared in his mind, information about the talent flowed into his consciousness.
"I see."
The passive ability greatly enhanced his eyesight. He could clearly observe objects up to ten kilometers away, with every detail remaining sharp and easy to distinguish.
Furthermore, within a radius of one hundred meters around him, he could see in all directions at once. There were no blind spots, even behind his back or above his head.
"Not bad but it isn’t much different from origin sense" the origin sense had same functions but the active ability was what truly caught his attention.
It allowed him to see the flow of Primordial Qi inside a cultivator’s body.
Before reaching the Sovereign Realm, cultivators did not possess a core or dantian where they could store all their Primordial Qi. Instead, their energy was distributed throughout their bodies, stored within their tissues, muscles, meridians and other structures.
Whenever they used a technique or activated Primordial Qi to strengthen their bodies, they consumed this energy.
Until now, Mo Yuan had never paid much attention to how efficiently he used his reserves. Most of his battles ended after only a few moves, so he rarely had to worry about running out of energy.
During the beast tide, however, he had noticed his Primordial Qi reserves falling dangerously low. He had needed beast blood to replenish them before continuing the battle.
Thinking about this, Mo Yuan suddenly remembered something.
’When I obtained Boundless Saber Art inside the Secret Realm, I exhausted almost all my Primordial Qi. That was only time I had actually reached my limit.’
He nodded thoughtfully.
’This talent is really useful.’
Mo Yuan activated True Sight and looked inside his own body.
Immediately, the flow of Primordial Qi became visible.
He could see the eight major meridians, twelve primary meridians and seventy-one minor meridians he had opened. He could also observe how Primordial Qi traveled through them, passing from one section of his body to another.
It was as though his entire body had become a transparent map, with every pathway clearly displayed before his eyes.
Mo Yuan focused on the circulation of energy and began adjusting it.
He carefully guided the Primordial Qi through his meridians, reducing unnecessary energy loss and improving the flow between different parts of his body.
After a while, he activated his Primordial Qi to strengthen himself.
A powerful feeling immediately spread through his body.
His strength doubled, just as before but something was different this time. The energy flowed more smoothly and he could feel that far less of it was being wasted.
Previously, he might have been able to maintain this level of enhancement for one day if he continuously used it. Now, based on his initial testing, he estimated that he could maintain it for at least three days under similar conditions.
In other words, his Primordial Qi efficiency had improved by roughly three times.
Mo Yuan’s eyes brightened.
’If I can see all my meridians with True Sight, then Mu Shaobei should also be able to see mine.’
He suddenly remembered that Mu Shaobei possessed this talent as well.
’He must have noticed that I have seventy-one minor meridians.’
Mo Yuan frowned slightly before shaking his head.
’Well, there’s nothing I can do about it now.’
It was not as though he could stop using his meridians just because someone might discover how many he had opened.
Besides, the advantages of True Sight were far greater than this small concern.
"Not bad. My combat ability has improved another level."
After testing the talent a few more times, Mo Yuan finally turned his attention to the second one.
"Now, let’s paste Gigantification."
He gave the mental command.
Immediately, a wave of pain spread throughout his entire body. His muscles, bones and skin seemed to be undergoing some kind of transformation, causing every part of him to ache.
Mo Yuan gritted his teeth and endured it.
Fortunately, the process did not take too long. After several minutes, the pain gradually faded away.
He opened his talent panel.
Gigantification Talent: Peak Grade [Active]
Mo Yuan nodded.
"Let’s see how much it increases my strength and how large I can become."
As soon as he focused on the talent, its information appeared in his mind.
The basic ability was straightforward. Once activated, his body would grow five times larger.
Mo Yuan was currently about 1.9 meters tall. If he activated the talent, his height would reach approximately 9.5 meters.
He imagined himself standing nearly as tall as a three-story building and could not help smiling.
"So I’m a part-time titan now."
But the ability did not end there.
While in his giant form, his physical strength would also increase five times. However, maintaining this form consumed Primordial Qi continuously. Once his reserves were exhausted, he would return to his normal size.
Mo Yuan nodded with satisfaction.
"Not bad. Not bad at all."
A fivefold increase in strength was already impressive and his enormous size would give him a considerable advantage when fighting large beasts.
However, another thought soon entered his mind.
He still had two uses of Talent Fusion available during the current cooldown period.
’What would happen if I fused Gigantification with my Strength Talent?’
At present, both talents increased his physical power but he could not activate them together. He would have to choose between the two abilities.
If they could be fused into a single talent, he might be able to obtain their advantages without being forced to choose one over the other.
Of course, the fusion result was uncertain. Talent Fusion could produce unexpected results and he had no guarantee that it would work exactly as he hoped.
Still, it was worth trying.
"Let’s fuse them."
Mo Yuan closed his eyes and issued the command.
A familiar notification appeared in his mind.
Fuse Gigantification Talent and Strength Talent?
Yes / No
Mo Yuan did not hesitate.
’Yes.’
