Chapter 186: Ch 186- End of Secret Realm
As the group continued walking, they eventually noticed the small Golden Mouse following Mo Yuan everywhere.
Although it was only around thirty centimeters long, it was still a Peak Realm beast. None of them dared to underestimate it simply because of its size.
Mu Qingying looked at Mo Yuan curiously and asked, "Mo Yuan, what kind of beast is this? Are you planning to keep it as your pet?"
The others also turned their attention toward the little mouse.
Mo Yuan smiled and nodded. "Yes. Meet the Golden Mouse. It’s going to leave the Secret Realm with me."
Hearing Mo Yuan introduce it, the Golden Mouse finally spoke up.
"Greetings, humans."
Seeing a mouse barely thirty centimeters long speaking human language was certainly a strange experience. However, considering that it was a Peak Realm beast, none of them found it particularly unbelievable.
After chatting for a while, Mo Yuan suggested that they explore the Secret Realm together. The others agreed and they spent the remaining day wandering around before finding a place to rest.
The next morning, at six o’clock, they gathered near the location where the exit was expected to open.
Today was the final day of the Secret Realm.
Everyone waited patiently, knowing that they would soon return to the outside world.
Mo Yuan, however, had something else on his mind.
His Copy and Paste Talent’s cooldown had finally ended.
He could now copy two talents and with the Fusion Feature, he could also fuse two pairs of talents if he found suitable combinations.
’Which talents should I copy?’
Mo Yuan glanced at Qin Wushang and considered his Peak Grade Berserker Talent. He then looked at Mu Shaobei’s Peak Grade True Sight Talent.
Both were useful but neither was his first choice.
His gaze eventually landed on the Moon Scale Serpent beside Bai Ningning.
The two-headed serpent possessed Gigantification Talent.
’Berserker gives a huge boost to strength but Gigantification can increase strength while also enlarging the body. That seems more useful to me.’
After considering his options, Mo Yuan decided to copy Gigantification.
He then examined the other talents around him but nothing else particularly caught his attention.
There was, however, one talent he definitely wanted.
The Golden Mouse’s Treasure Finder Talent.
With that ability, finding valuable resources would become much easier in the future. Still, since the mouse would be leaving the Secret Realm with him, there was no need to rush. He could copy it after his next cooldown.
’I’ll do it later.’
Mo Yuan gave the command.
Immediately, two notifications appeared in his mind.
Gigantification Talent copied successfully.
True Sight Talent copied successfully.
Paste?
’Not now.’
He didn’t need to activate either talent immediately, so he decided to leave them unused for the time being.
Just then, a bright light appeared in the northern sky.
A small opening began to form in the distance and the light pouring from it was so intense that it looked like another sun had appeared.
"The exit is open!" someone shouted.
Everyone immediately became excited.
"Let’s go!"
The cultivators rushed toward the opening. Mo Yuan’s companions also began moving but just as they were about to leave, they noticed that Mo Yuan had stopped.
He was standing still, looking toward the distant forest.
Mu Qingying turned around and called out, "Mo Yuan, what are you waiting for? The Secret Realm will close in half an hour!"
Mo Yuan looked at her and smiled.
"I’ll be back in a few minutes. You guys go ahead."
The others exchanged glances but didn’t question him. They knew Mo Yuan had his own plans.
Mu Qingying was the last to leave. Before stepping through the exit, she looked back at him.
"Make sure you leave in time!"
Mo Yuan waved his hand with a smile.
"Don’t worry. I don’t plan to grow old and die inside this place."
Only then did Mu Qingying finally leave.
Soon, most of the human cultivators had exited the Secret Realm. Mo Yuan watched as the final groups disappeared through the bright opening.
He also noticed Ming Yue among them.
Once the humans were gone, the surroundings gradually became quiet.
Mo Yuan continued staring toward the distant forest.
The Golden Mouse stood beside him, following his gaze.
After a moment, Mo Yuan spoke.
"Looks like humans aren’t the only ones who want to leave today."
The Golden Mouse nodded.
"Yes, Senior. Leaving the Secret Realm is a rare opportunity. It’s no wonder so many Peak Realm beasts have gathered."
As soon as it finished speaking, countless figures began emerging from the forest.
Peak Realm beasts appeared first, followed by High Realm beasts. Their numbers continued to grow until the entire area was filled with them.
There were nearly a hundred Peak Realm beasts, accompanied by thousands of High Realm beasts.
Their auras spread across the surroundings, creating an oppressive atmosphere.
Mo Yuan looked at the gathering beasts and smiled faintly.
"Well, they never had a chance to begin with."
He wasn’t joking.
Even if these beasts managed to leave the Secret Realm, what awaited them outside was the human race’s Sovereign Realm cultivators. Against such opponents, most of them wouldn’t survive for long.
Mo Yuan slowly drew his saber and a cold light flashed across its blade.
He activated his talents one after another and his aura began to rise. His Blood Saber Intent also spread from his body.
In an instant, his hair and eyes turned blood red.
The Golden Mouse glanced at him before looking toward the countless beasts.
A trace of pity appeared in its eyes.
It already knew what was going to happen.
Mo Yuan raised his saber.
"Boundless Saber Art."
His voice was quiet.
Then he swung and a streak of red light flashed across the land.
Without even looking at the result, Mo Yuan turned toward the exit.
"Let’s leave."
The Golden Mouse nodded and followed him, before departing it glanced back one last time.
Behind them, the red streak continued forward.
The next moment, the Golden Mouse disappeared through the exit alongside Mo Yuan.
On the other side, the gathered beasts saw only a flash of red light.
Then their vision went blank
