Although they hadn’t detected a Sun God, they couldn’t rule out the possibility of one being present.

As a Sun God-level Spaceship, the Magic Cube could typically be detected by an average Sun God. However, some Sun Gods might have special concealment abilities, or the one on this planet could just be away for the time being.

’If we really want to understand the Dou Race’s true strength, we’ll have to capture one of them and ask a few questions.’

Although he considered it, Su Ze didn’t act rashly and grab someone on the planet.

Capturing an ordinary Dou Race civilian wouldn’t yield much; they’d know very little about their leadership’s secrets. He would need to capture a Star God at the very least.

But snatching someone from their own home base could easily tip them off. They might start searching the surrounding area and eventually stumble upon Zexing.

"Let’s leave for now. We’ve accomplished our goal for this trip."

After a brief discussion with the others, Su Ze decided to play it safe. The whole point of this trip was to find the location of the Dou Race’s home world, and they had now achieved that objective.

As for how to deal with the Dou Race, that would require careful, long-term planning.

"If we want to grab someone for intel, we can target one of the Dou Race raiding parties out in space. But there’s no need to rush it. When we’re finally ready to make a move against them, we can capture a Dou Race Star God beforehand to get the lay of the land.

"For now, the most important thing is to build up our own strength. The power gap between us and them is just too wide."

Lin Hua and the others nodded, a look of shame on their faces. Su Ze had put it diplomatically, saying ’we’ needed to improve our overall strength, but in reality, none of them were likely to have a major breakthrough anytime soon.

Ultimately, it all came down to Su Ze’s power.

...

Su Ze understood he couldn’t delay this for too long. The threat posed by the Dou Race had to be eliminated as soon as possible.

Therefore, after returning to Zexing, he handled some routine matters and distributed a portion of their resources before immediately entering seclusion to cultivate.

He was now only a single step away from his eighth evolution. All he had to do was finish digesting the Evolutionary Material in his body.

Normally, digesting this much Evolutionary Material would take years. Fortunately, he had the Sands of Time to accelerate the process.

This was no time to be frugal with an irreplaceable resource like the Sands of Time.

By absorbing the Sands of Time without restraint, Su Ze quickly finished digesting all the Evolutionary Material in his body.

Next up was his eighth evolution.

As with every evolution before, Su Ze began his preparations, adjusting both his physical and mental state to their optimal conditions.

He took a day off to rest, strolling across the surface of Zexing. He saw that everything on the planet was now on the right track; the rest was simply a matter of time.

After Mr. Ya, Zexing had finally produced another new Star God. This time, it was an expert from Lin Hua Country whom Su Ze didn’t know well. All he knew was that this person had also been a high-ranking member of the Blue Star Party. Unlike Chen Suifeng, who chose to remain on Blue Star, this individual had decided to follow Su Ze and venture into the starry sky.

It was clear that more and more Star Gods would begin to emerge in the near future.

With every mission for trade and plunder, Zexing’s resources grew more abundant, and everyone’s rate of growth accelerated.

With a supply of high-grade energy, god-level extracts to absorb, Evolutionary Liquid to transform their bodies, and various natural medicines to speed up digestion, the number of Star Gods on Zexing was bound to explode over the next six months to a year.

By then, Su Ze’s Starry Sky Justice Team would finally begin to take shape.

After his day of relaxation, Su Ze returned to his seclusion chamber and began his eighth evolution.

From the Star God realm all the way to the Sun God realm, the color of one’s evolutionary power no longer changes; it remains purple.

Therefore, this evolution was different from his previous ones, as there would be no stage where the color of his evolutionary power transformed.

But even though the color was the same, there was still a huge difference in the quality of the evolutionary power. A Moon God’s evolutionary power was clearly of a higher order than a Star God’s.

The moment the evolution began, the evolutionary power in Su Ze’s body began to boil. Spurred on by this power, he felt something activating within every single one of his cells.

’That’s... the Origin Gene...’

Su Ze entered a state of Genetic Introspection. He saw that every Origin Gene he had ever absorbed was now glowing, especially the one belonging to the Human Race, which shone with the most dazzling light.

If the Origin Genes of the other races were stars, then the Human Race’s Origin Gene was a blazing sun.

By this point, Su Ze had absorbed the Origin Genes of several hundred different races.

Some were inherited from Inheritance Crystals, while others were indirectly absorbed from the Dou Race and Bag Race experts he had plundered.

The least complete among them was only at about 1% integrity, while the most complete was the Dou Race Origin Gene, reaching an impressive 31%.

In contrast, his own Human Race Origin Gene was only at about 11% integrity.

Yet at this moment, all the other Origin Genes he had absorbed were revolving around the Human Race’s Origin Gene, like a host of stars orbiting the moon.

At that moment, Su Ze faintly sensed that these Origin Genes seemed to have established some kind of connection with the outside world.

They were drawing in energy from the outside world to strengthen his body.

’The Origin Genes came from the original Supreme Creator God; He created the very world itself. It’s no surprise, then, that they can draw on the world’s power to strengthen me.’

Su Ze mulled it over for a moment. It made sense, so he immersed himself fully in the evolutionary process, focusing on the changes happening to his body, right down to his genes.

Mysteriously, from some unknown place and through some unknown channel, countless streams of a special energy converged on Su Ze’s body. Wisps of this energy began to seep into him.

Su Ze’s body immediately began to strengthen at a clearly perceptible rate.
