Chapter 1123: Chapter 810: Dinner Gathering (Part 3)
"Can’t do that," Mrs. Weasley said, glancing at Kael.
"There’s something you might not know... or perhaps never paid attention to."
"The Undetectable Extension Charm is not a charm that can be infinitely stacked. Its stability is actually quite poor, and when it exceeds a certain size, the space extended by the charm will collapse."
"But mine works."
"Of course, think about who gave it to you."
"Newt Scamander."
"That’s right, Mr. Scamander," Mrs. Weasley said. "He is most renowned for that magical suitcase of his, and if anyone could easily make it with an Undetectable Extension Charm, do you think it would still be magical?"
"I don’t know the reason, but as far as I know, his suitcase is uniquely found nowhere else in the Magic Realm... Oh wait, now it should be the third one.
"I guess he must have gone through a lot of trouble; it’s difficult to find something that can keep the Undetectable Extension Charm stable."
Kael paused slightly, realizing he hadn’t really thought about this issue. All along, anything he had was simply placed in the suitcase, and even occasionally making items with the Undetectable Extension Charm were never that big.
Afterward, the two arrived at an old telephone booth with peeling paint.
"You go first," Mrs. Weasley said.
This was built by the Order of Phoenix, specifically for Apparition, surrounded by Muggle Repelling Spells to prevent anyone from accidentally entering.
Kael nodded and walked in, Apparating back to the front garden of The Burrow in Ottery St Catchpole.
A few minutes later, Mrs. Weasley returned as well.
Upon arriving here, she seemed completely relaxed, even finding the gnomes in the garden somewhat pleasing to the eye.
"Let’s clean them up later; I need to tidy up the house first." She asked, "Kael, do you need to go home first?"
"Ah, no need," Kael shook his head, "I’ll help tidy up together, it’ll be faster that way."
"Sure, then you can have dinner with Chris tonight. You probably haven’t eaten here for a long time."
"About two years," Kael said.
Since his sixth year when Voldemort resurfaced, he spent his holidays living in the safer Grimmauld Place. Even if he occasionally came back, he quickly left, rarely staying overnight.
They walked into The Burrow, and at the entrance, Kael suddenly stopped and glanced toward the direction of his home on the second floor.
"Kael, is something wrong?" Mrs. Weasley’s voice came from inside the house.
"Nothing," Kael shook his head and walked into The Burrow.
They divided the tasks, with Mrs. Weasley putting everything brought back in place, and Kael cleaning the dust off the furniture, while also driving away pests, gnomes, and the like.
Anywhere a wizard has lived always attracts Doxies and gnomes; they like to stay where there are traces of magic.
Not just The Burrow, Kael’s home is the same, but Doxies running to his home would become food for the old Kneazle there within ten minutes.
Although Ginny also had a Kneazle, given to her by Fred and George, that little one was evidently not as clever as Tom.
By the way, the Kneazle at Kael’s home is called Tom, a very common name in the Magic Realm, not referring to anyone in particular.
...
It was evening around nine, and it seemed those working at the Ministry of Magic had already returned, having been informed about the relocation.
Kael also helped Mrs. Weasley prepare a sumptuous dinner.
"Mom, tonight... oh, Kael, when did you get back!" Fred ran over pleasantly surprised.
"Noon," Kael said.
"Where have you been these last few days?"
"Stop asking so many questions, hurry up and get ready for dinner," Mrs. Weasley interrupted George, then looked to the other side, "Arthur, where are Bill and Charlie, why aren’t they back yet."
"They should be soon," Mr. Weasley said. "Lupin and Nymphadora have already gone to switch places."
"Then let’s not wait for them."
As before, they set the table in the garden and sat together.
However, they hadn’t had dinner together like this for a very long time due to the Death Eaters’ influence; everyone had endless things to do over the past two years.
At Mr. Weasley’s suggestion, everyone raised their glasses and clinked them together.
"Kael, you shouldn’t have much to do lately, right?" Fred asked, sipping Butter Beer.
"Not really," Kael thought and said.
"Then why not come work at the Ministry of Magic?" George’s eyes lit up. "Let me tell you, the work in the department has been quite interesting lately."
"I’m not interested in the Ministry of Magic," Kael shook his head, "Actually, I’m planning to go to France."
