Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method
Chapter 780: The Dao of Becoming a Gym God
Garion looked toward Atlas with an excited grin. "Alright, Atlas! Now that the system is fully unlocked, what kind of new functions did we get? Anything interesting?"
Atlas glanced at the system screen before answering casually.
[A lot. And I mean a fucking lot.]
Garion raised his eyebrows, his grin immediately widening. "Ohhh! Now that’s what I’m talking about! Come on, tell me! What kind of crazy shit did we unlock?"
Atlas raised one eyebrow and crossed his tiny arms.
[Slow down, will you? Before we get into all those new functions, there’s something we need to discuss first. Our God Gym cultivation system.]
Garion frowned in confusion. "Huh? Why the hell do we need to talk about that again? Isn’t it just the cultivation method I created?"
He crossed his arms and tilted his head. "I mean, it’s pretty simple, right? Absorb mana into every cell, gradually transform the entire body until every part becomes attuned to mana, and then evolve beyond the body’s original limitations. What’s there to explain?"
Atlas nodded.
[Yeah, that’s the basic idea. But now that the system has been fully unlocked, it has also refined and standardized our cultivation method, or more precisely, the God Physique Ascension Manual.]
Garion’s eyebrows rose in surprise. "Oh? Is that so? Hehehe, now you’ve got me interested. Let’s hear it, then. I want to know just how different it is from the original version I created."
Atlas shrugged.
[To be honest, it’s not that different. The system mainly reorganized everything, refined the process, and made the progression much clearer and more efficient than your original messy version.]
Garion waved his hand lazily. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. I’m not exactly the most organized bastard around. No need to rub it in my face. Just tell me already!"
Atlas nodded and began explaining.
[Fine, fine. To make things simple, our God Gym cultivation system is divided into only three major realms: Mortal Realm, Demigod Realm, and God Realm.]
Garion raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Only three? That’s surprisingly simple. I thought there’d be more, considering how cultivators in this world have Mortal, Awakening, Star, Celestial, and God Realms."
Atlas immediately snorted.
[Hmph! That’s the cultivation system used by the masses! We’re God Gym, damn it! A training ground specifically designed to produce gods!]
[Of course our cultivation system needs to be unique, superior, and much more efficient!]
Garion chuckled. "Hahaha! Alright, alright! So what makes ours so special?"
Atlas raised one finger.
[First, let’s start with the Mortal Realm. Normally, cultivators absorb mana through breathing techniques, gradually accumulate it within their bodies, and use that energy to strengthen themselves. But our Mortal Realm doesn’t work like that.]
Garion leaned back lazily. "Yeah, I already know that. That’s the whole reason I created this cultivation method in the first place."
[Yeah, yeah, I know! Just let me explain the damn thing properly, will you?!]
Atlas cleared his throat before continuing.
[Anyway, the foundation of our Mortal Realm is physical training.]
[Basically, you train the absolute hell out of your body using whatever methods are available.]
[Weightlifting, resistance training, endurance training, special medicines, environmental pressure, and anything else that can push your physical limits.]
[Of course, with the facilities available at God Gym, this process becomes much simpler and more efficient. But physical training alone isn’t enough.]
[While training, cultivators must also practice a special breathing rhythm that allows them to absorb mana from their surroundings.]
Atlas raised another finger.
[Through focused imagination and precise control, they then channel the absorbed mana toward a single cell within their body.]
[That cell becomes the foundation of their entire cultivation, which we call the Core Cell.]
Garion nodded in understanding. "Right. And once that Core Cell successfully transforms into a Mana Core Cell, it begins absorbing more mana and dividing, producing additional Mana Core Cells."
He crossed his arms. "The process keeps repeating until every cell in the body has basically been replaced by Mana Core Cells."
Atlas nodded approvingly.
[Exactly! And once every cell has become a Mana Core Cell, the cultivator’s entire body essentially becomes a living vessel of mana.]
[Their physical strength, endurance, regeneration, and overall potential increase dramatically, allowing them to surpass the natural limitations of an ordinary mortal body.]
[However, that doesn’t mean they can remain in the Mortal Realm forever.]
[Eventually, their physical development will reach its limit, and that’s when they must prepare for their first major breakthrough.]
Garion rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Into the Demigod Realm, huh? But how exactly does that work according to the refined manual?"
He looked down, his face twitching. "If I remember correctly, I basically just pushed myself like a fucking madman until I broke through. Hell, I even had to train in the deepest parts of the ocean just to succeed!"
Atlas nodded.
[That’s because advancing into the Demigod Realm requires a cultivator to awaken their natural God Physique.]
[Every individual possesses a certain affinity or potential that determines what kind of God Physique they can develop.]
[In your case, Garion, your natural affinity was gravity. By training under the crushing pressure of the deepest ocean, you continuously stimulated that affinity until your body finally broke through its limits and awakened your Gravity God Physique.]
Atlas then turned toward Rachel, who had been quietly listening beside Garion.
[Rachel, on the other hand, is completely different. Her natural affinity is Love, so her breakthrough didn’t require the same kind of brutal physical pressure.]
[Instead, her intense emotions, affection, and connection with you became the catalyst that awakened her Love God Physique.]
[That’s why the breakthrough into the Demigod Realm can be extremely difficult for some people and surprisingly simple for others.]
[It depends entirely on their natural affinity and the conditions required to awaken it.]
Garion sighed helplessly as he recalled Rachel’s breakthrough. "Yeah... I remember that. Fuck, just thinking about what happened back then is enough to make me sigh."
Rachel, who had been listening with a gentle smile, couldn’t help chuckling softly. "Oh, darling. There’s no need to look so troubled. After all, you’re my husband, aren’t you?"
Garion glanced at her before bursting into laughter. "Hahaha! Yeah, yeah! I know, my dear wife!"
He gently squeezed her hand before turning his attention back toward Atlas. "Alright, so that’s the Mortal Realm and Demigod Realm explained."
He raised one finger. "What about the God Realm? As far as I know, Rachel and I are still in the Demigod Realm, so what’s the actual requirement for becoming a true god?"
Atlas glanced at the system screen again before answering.
[Actually, the principle is almost the same as the previous breakthrough.]
[However, this time, instead of awakening a God Physique, the cultivator must evolve their existing God Physique to its absolute limit.]
[First, they must continuously train and develop their God Physique until they reach a point where ordinary training can no longer produce meaningful improvements.]
[Once that limit is reached, they must undergo a final transformation through pressure or stimulation that perfectly corresponds to the nature of their God Physique.]
[If they successfully endure that transformation and transcend their existing physical limitations, their God Physique will evolve into a true divine physique, allowing them to ascend into the God Realm.]
Garion listened carefully before his expression suddenly changed. "Wait a fucking minute..."
He slowly looked down at his own body before turning back toward Atlas with a troubled expression.
"Doesn’t that mean I need to find an actual black hole, a white hole, and some other crazy fucking celestial phenomenon just to break through?"
He spread his arms helplessly. "Because my body isn’t just about gravity anymore, you know! I’ve already developed black hole and white hole powers too!"
He looked at Atlas, clenching his fists. "What the hell am I supposed to do? Find some ridiculous planet with enough gravitational pressure to crush an entire star system?!"
Atlas merely grinned at his complaints.
[Hehehe! Well, technically speaking, you’re not wrong. With how much your God Physique has evolved, the conditions required for your breakthrough would indeed be ridiculously dangerous.]
Garion’s mouth twitched. "Then why the fuck are you smiling?!"
Atlas laughed.
[Because you don’t have to worry about finding those conditions yourself anymore, you idiot!]
[Have you already forgotten what we were talking about earlier? The system just unlocked a whole bunch of new functions!]
Garion froze for a moment before his eyes suddenly widened. "Ohhh! I see!"
His troubled expression immediately disappeared, replaced by an enormous grin.
"So you’re telling me we’ve unlocked new training facilities that can help us break through into the God Realm? Just like all those special training buildings we already have?"
Atlas nodded enthusiastically.
[Ghehehe! Exactly! And trust me, the new facilities are on a completely different level from anything we’ve used before.]
[They’re specifically designed to help cultivators push their God Physiques beyond their existing limits!]
Garion immediately jumped off the bed, his eyes practically shining with excitement. "HAHAHA! NOW THAT’S WHAT I’M FUCKING TALKING ABOUT!"
He cracked his knuckles before turning toward Atlas with a wild grin.
"Alright, Atlas! Enough talking! Show me those new facilities! I want to see just what kind of insane training hell that arrogant Creator has prepared for us!"
Atlas laughed and waved his tiny hand.
[GHAHAHA! Alright, alright! Let’s go! You’re going to fucking love this!]
