Garion stared at the golden panel in complete silence, honestly having no idea how to react to what he had just read.

He simply sat there with Rachel beside him, staring at the words left behind by the [Creator of All Systems].

Even someone as shameless and carefree as Garion needed a moment to process something this ridiculous.

After several seconds, he finally muttered, "What the actual fuck is this...?"

Rachel’s expression was equally serious as she carefully considered the announcement.

"So, one year from now, all remaining candidates will be forcibly transported into the same battlefield, and only one will be allowed to emerge victorious."

Garion slowly nodded, scratching his head. "Yeah... basically. Still, I never thought the Creator would actually pull something like this."

He crossed his arms. "I mean, gathering every fucking candidate in one place and forcing them to kill each other? That’s some crazy shit, bro."

Atlas crossed his tiny arms, his expression remaining unusually grim.

[Well, considering what we’ve learned so far, it seems the Dragon Slayer candidate you killed wasn’t the only one who failed to properly fulfill the system’s true purpose.]

Garion raised an eyebrow before slowly nodding in understanding. "Hmm... Now that you mention it, you’re probably right."

He rolled his eyes, remembering Kairox, the one he killed. "Those bastards basically abandoned their original goals just to become rulers of their own little territories."

He snorted disdainfully. "They’d rather sit around acting like kings of their tiny ponds than venture out and become the fucking kings of the jungle!"

Atlas nodded in agreement.

[Exactly. And apparently, far too many candidates have fallen into that same mindset.]

[Instead of continuing to grow stronger and pursuing the system’s true purpose, they’ve become complacent with their current power.]

He paused briefly before continuing.

[And who knows? Maybe the fact that you actually went out and killed another candidate caught the Creator’s attention.]

[Perhaps she finally found someone entertaining enough to justify speeding up the entire competition.]

Garion blinked before a wide, excited grin slowly spread across his face. "Hehehe... So that’s how it is, huh? That arrogant woman really knows what she’s doing!"

Rachel glanced at him, noticing how his earlier shock had already transformed into excitement.

Garion cracked his knuckles, his grin growing even wider. "After all, aside from training and getting stronger, there’s one other thing I fucking love..."

He laughed heartily. "HAHAHA! FIGHTING! What’s the fucking point of getting stronger if I don’t have some powerful bastards to beat the shit out of?!"

Atlas stared at his ridiculous grin before letting out a helpless sigh.

[...And there goes the last bit of seriousness I was hoping you’d maintain.]

Garion suddenly turned back toward Atlas, as though he had just remembered something important.

"Wait a fucking minute, bro... Speaking of the system’s true purpose, what the hell was our original goal again? I think you told me about it years ago, but I kind of forgot..."

Atlas blinked.

He stared at Garion for a moment before scratching his tiny head, looking rather confused himself.

[Hmm... Now that you mention it, I don’t fucking remember either. I think I forgot. Ah, whatever. Let’s just forget about it for now.]

Garion stared at him in disbelief, his mouth hanging open. "WHAT THE FUCK?! You’re the goddamn system avatar!"

He pointed his finger at Atlas, roaring, "How the hell can you forget something as important as the system’s original purpose?! Isn’t that literally your fucking job?!"

Atlas coughed lightly before crossing his arms, looking completely shameless.

[Excuse me? I’ll have you know that I’m a very busy system avatar!]

[I’ve spent years managing your endless idiocy, cleaning up your ridiculous messes, and dealing with your constant bullshit.]

[Naturally, some information gets buried along the way!]

Garion’s mouth twitched violently.

He opened his mouth to argue, but after thinking about everything that had happened over the years, he eventually sighed in defeat.

"Fuck... Fine, fine. You win, bro. I can’t even argue with that. You’ve really had to deal with a ridiculous amount of my shit over the years."

Atlas immediately nodded proudly.

[Exactly! At least you have enough self-awareness to admit it!]

[You should be grateful that such an outstanding and hardworking system avatar has been taking care of your sorry ass all this time!]

Garion rolled his eyes, but Atlas continued before he could complain.

[Besides, there’s no need to worry about the original purpose right now.]

[The Creator will probably explain everything when the final competition begins in one year. Whatever it is, we’ll find out eventually.]

Garion considered his words for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, I guess you’re right. No point wasting time worrying about something we can’t even fucking remember."

However, his expression suddenly brightened as he recalled another important detail from the announcement. "Oh, right! Forget about that for now! Atlas, show me the full system interface!"

He rubbed his hands together. "That arrogant woman said all the restrictions have been lifted, right? That means everything should finally be unlocked!"

Atlas glanced toward the system interface, and his previously serious expression quickly transformed into an excited grin.

[Ghehehe! Oh, you bet your ass it is! I just checked, and the entire system has been completely unlocked!]

[There are tons of new functions, features, and abilities that weren’t available before! Some of these things are fucking ridiculous, even by our standards!]

Garion’s eyes immediately lit up with excitement, his grin widening until it practically stretched from ear to ear. "Hehehe! Good, good! Now that’s what I’m fucking talking about!"

He rubbed his hands more eagerly, looking like a madman who had just discovered an endless supply of his favorite toys.

"Alright, bro! Show me everything! Let’s see what kind of insane forbidden training bullshit we’re going to unleash over the next year!"

Atlas burst into laughter.

[GHAHAHA! Now that’s the spirit, you crazy bastard! Let’s see just how fucking ridiculous we can make this final year of preparation!]

Beside them, Rachel merely shook her head with a helpless smile as she watched the two idiots getting increasingly excited.

Just moments ago, they had been discussing a deadly competition that could determine the fate of every remaining system candidate.

And now?

They were acting like two children who had just been given permission to play with an entire warehouse of dangerous toys.
