Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method
Chapter 763: Enough You Fucking Mosquito
Arden sighed and slowly raised his hands as his divine nature energy began to spread around him. "Fine. If you won’t wait, then I’ll just restrain you first."
However, before Arden could properly do anything, Camris suddenly did something completely unexpected.
He raised his blade-like arms and slashed across his own body, tearing open deep wounds as blood sprayed everywhere.
Arden froze. "What the hell are you doing?!"
Camris ignored him and continued, cutting himself again and again, carving bloody wounds across his body without hesitation.
To Arden’s surprise, Camris didn’t weaken at all. Instead, his body grew even stronger as the abilities of his forbidden armor activated.
[Blood Eclipse Body]
The more Camris bled, the stronger he became. His speed, reaction time, and physical strength all surged crazily with every drop of blood he lost.
[Dragon Blood Reversal]
Every bloody injury covering his body was transformed into fuel, causing his already bloodshot eyes to turn even redder as the last traces of his sanity sank deeper into madness.
Camris slowly looked toward Arden, saliva drooling from the corner of his mouth. "Blood... blood... Your blood... I can smell it. So sweet."
Arden’s expression turned ugly. "Damn. To think your power works almost the same way as that brute Valtor’s. This is going to be troublesome."
Before he could do anything else, Camris suddenly vanished again.
This time, he was even faster.
[Eclipse Wing Flash]
A crimson shadow flashed around Arden from every direction, Camris’s blade-like arms striking at nearly every part of his body in rapid succession.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
However, every attack was still blocked by layers of hardened bark that grew across Arden’s skin at the very last second.
Although Arden could still handle Camris for now, the constant attacks were quickly starting to annoy him.
Among Garion’s disciples, Arden was usually one of the most patient. He was also the one with the least desire to charge headfirst into a fight.
However, even his patience had limits, and at this point, Camris was basically a human-sized mosquito buzzing around him nonstop.
Camris flashed around him again for what felt like the twentieth time before suddenly aiming his blade-like arm straight at Arden’s neck.
As usual, hardened bark instantly grew over the targeted area and blocked the strike.
Unfortunately for Camris, that attack was the one that finally pushed Arden too far.
Arden instantly roared in anger, "Enough! I don’t want to do this anymore. How dare you treat me like some fucking punching bag!"
He quickly pulled several seeds from his spatial ring as a surge of green divine nature energy erupted from his body and spread through the surrounding space.
[Voidroot Starvine]
Thick black-green vines burst from the seeds he threw into the air, rapidly expanding outward and spreading across the battlefield like an enormous net.
Their roots anchored themselves into nearby debris, dragon bones, broken fortress fragments, and even the floating dust of dead stars.
Camris flashed past them, cutting several vines apart, but Arden’s expression remained cold.
[Mirrorleaf Tracking Fern]
Hundreds of silver-green leaves bloomed across the vines. Each leaf briefly reflected Camris’s crimson shadow whenever he moved, allowing Arden to track his movements no matter how fast he became.
Camris tried to circle around and attack from behind, but Arden already knew exactly where he was.
He calmly snapped his fingers.
[Gravitic Thorn Cactus]
Round dark-green cactus bulbs appeared across space, each covered in heavy black thorns.
The moment Camris came too close, the thorns shot out with strange gravitational pull, dragging his movement off course.
Camris snarled and tore straight through them, blood spraying everywhere from the fresh wounds covering his body, and as usual his aura became even stronger
Arden frowned deeper. "You’re really troublesome."
Camris roared and slashed both blade arms across his own chest again, spilling even more blood, and a moment later something happened.
His entire body glowed crimson.
Then all the blood aura around him gathered into his arms, wings, and blade-like limbs.
The bloody light condensed until it resembled a dark-red moon behind him.
Arden’s eyes narrowed.
Camris suddenly screamed like a wild beast.
[Blood Moon Execution]
All of the blood aura surrounding him compressed into one final attack before his body vanished.
This time, however, he wasn’t merely fast.
He became a crimson line that seemed to cut through space itself, shooting straight toward Arden’s neck.
Arden sighed. "Fine. If you want to gamble everything on this..."
He reached into his storage ring and pulled out a small seed sealed inside a transparent capsule.
This was no ordinary plant.
It was one of the special seeds Arden and Mersha had created together after countless experiments and a long period of joint research.
Arden crushed the capsule in his hand and immediately poured his divine nature energy into the seed.
[Hemlock Devouring Lotus]
A dark-purple lotus bloomed in front of Arden and silently opened its petals.
The flower looked strangely beautiful.
Its petals were deep purple, almost black, with thin crimson veins running across them like blood vessels.
The moment Camris’s final attack arrived, he struck directly toward the lotus, intending to cut through both the plant and Arden at the same time.
CLAAAAANG!
However, to Camris’s surprise, his blade-like arm failed to cut through it. Instead, it felt as though he had struck an iron wall.
His bloodshot eyes widened as the dark-purple lotus did more than merely block his attack.
It swallowed it.
All the blood aura gathered inside [Blood Moon Execution] was rapidly pulled into the lotus petals like water draining into a bottomless hole.
A moment later, the lotus bloomed brighter as it devoured every drop of blood power from Camris’s final attack.
Camris’s body froze in midair as the feral madness in his eyes finally began to fade, his blood energy rapidly devoured by the lotus.
However, instead of relief, fear appeared on his face. "No..."
Arden looked at the lotus while rubbing his chin, carefully checking its condition like a researcher studying a result. "So this is how it reacts against high-density blood energy..."
He nodded slowly. "Not bad. The absorption rate is better than expected."
The petals of the [Hemlock Devouring Lotus] trembled slightly, then released several thin purple roots that pierced into Camris’s blade arm.
SSSSSSS!
The remaining blood aura inside Camris was forcefully drained.
Camris screamed, but this time, his blood no longer made him stronger.
His injuries no longer transformed into power.
His forbidden armor pulsed violently, trying to resist, but the lotus only bloomed brighter.
Arden sighed softly. "Mersha was right again. Against someone who has too much energy, this thing is basically a nightmare."
Camris’s crimson-black body weakened rapidly, and finally, the [Blood Eclipse Drake Regalia] lost its glow.
His body went limp and fell backward, caught by the surrounding [Voidroot Starvines] before he could even hit the ground.
Arden looked at the restrained Camris and adjusted his clothes. "Good. Now stay there."
He paused for a moment, then muttered with a tired expression, "And please never become a mosquito again."
