Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method
Chapter 753: Torture With Extra Steps
Garion and Rachel had now returned to [Divine Celestial Gym Island No.1] through the teleportation route prepared by the Dragon Gods.
The Dragon Gods still needed to interrogate the unconscious Dragon Slayer to further complete their information about the Dragon Slayers.
Once they found something useful, they would send the coordinates to Garion.
So for now, Garion only had one job.
Prepare his own army to handle the Dragon Slayers.
The moment Garion appeared above the island, he stretched his arms and grinned. "Finally, we’ve come back home."
Rachel stood beside him calmly, looking at the familiar floating island beneath them.
Atlas floated near Garion’s shoulder and looked at him suspiciously.
[Why are you smiling like that?]
Garion ignored him and asked, "Atlas, can the [Divine Celestial Ascension Hall] be used by multiple people at once?"
Atlas paused.
[Hm?]
Garion pointed toward the deepest part of the island. "Before, I used it alone for almost a month. Rachel also used it alone for almost a month. That’s too damn slow."
Rachel nodded lightly. "If everyone has to enter one by one, preparing God Gym’s core members will take too long."
Atlas rubbed his chin.
[Let me check.]
Atlas directly opened the facility panel, which was filled with divine runes, cosmic formulas, and strange system symbols that neither Garion nor Rachel could understand one bit.
After a few moments, Atlas nodded and turned back toward both of them.
[Good news. It can be used by multiple people at once.]
Garion’s grin widened. "How many then? Ten? Twenty?"
Atlas simply raised five fingers.
Garion clicked his tongue. "Only five?"
Atlas immediately glared at him.
[Only five? Do you know how absurd it is that a facility capable of pushing Celestial-level body ascension can handle five people at once?]
Garion shrugged. "Still good."
[You really have no appreciation for divine engineering.]
Garion chuckled. "Fine, fine. I’m sorry about that."
He then directly changed the topic. "Okay then, Atlas. Make the announcement. Tell the athletes to gather at the central training plaza."
Atlas nodded.
[Understood.]
A moment later, his voice spread across [Divine Celestial Gym Island No.1].
[All core athletes and registered God Gym athletes, gather at the central training plaza immediately.]
A few minutes later, every core athlete and many other athletes had gathered in the plaza.
Dahlia stood near the front with her arms crossed, accompanied by her girls, Eliza and Clara.
Eliza stood quietly beside her, almost blending into the background, while Clara looked around with bright eyes, clearly hoping something fun was about to happen.
Arden and Mersha arrived at the same time.
Arden looked nervous as usual, while Mersha’s eyes were already sparkling with dangerous curiosity.
Valtor cracked his knuckles, already looking ready to smash something. Beside him stood his two new followers, Rynar and Rynor, both wearing the same excited, battle-hungry expressions.
Seira stood calmly in another spot, waiting quietly to see what was about to happen.
Dion followed behind her with a relaxed smile, holding a cup of good wine as if this was just another peaceful afternoon.
Velion had also appeared as the only demon race in God Gym, standing tall with his black horns, dark wings, red skin, and calm but eager expression.
Garion stood before the gathered crowd and looked at them with a wide grin. "Looks like everyone’s here."
Dahlia raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, yeah, Master. Come on, tell us quickly. It’s rare for you to gather all of us like this."
Valtor directly laughed out loud. "There must be something good happening, right? Seeing that wide grin on your face, Master, I can already smell trouble."
Garion grinned even wider. "As expected of both of you."
He raised one finger. "Indeed, I have something interesting. We got a mission."
The plaza became quieter.
Garion continued, "And this mission is far away, so we’re going out."
For a second, silence remained.
Then the entire plaza erupted.
Many of the athletes immediately cheered.
After all, it had been a long time since most of them had gone out to do anything besides training, eating, recovering, and training again.
Garion then looked toward Dahlia, Arden, Valtor, Mersha, and Seira. "You five will go with Rachel to the [Divine Celestial Ascension Hall]."
Rachel turned toward him. "You want me to handle their ascension? Are you sure?"
Garion nodded. "Of course. Atlas will be there too. You don’t need to personally control everything. Just escort them and make sure nothing goes wrong."
Rachel thought for a moment before nodding. "Okay then."
The five core disciples reacted differently.
Dahlia grinned.
Arden stiffened.
Mersha giggled creepily.
Valtor cracked his neck.
Seira’s eyes sharpened slightly.
Garion then turned back toward the crowd. "Okay, now that all of you are excited, let’s train harder."
The cheering slowly weakened.
Garion’s grin grew even brighter as he continued, "After all, this mission will be a war."
The moment the crowd heard those words, they frowned, not because of the word "war," but because of the word "train."
Garion finally landed the finishing blow with his next sentence. "And don’t worry, guys. To make you stronger faster, this time we’re going to finish Mersha’s entire stock of potions."
The moment Garion said that, the entire plaza froze.
Mersha slowly turned her head toward Garion before grinning widely. "Hehehe... finally. Those potions are going out."
The crowd immediately went pale.
Mersha’s potions were definitely some of the best they had ever used, but everyone still frowned for one very simple reason.
Unfortunately, they tasted like poison, bitter medicine, rotten fruit, spicy metal, and regret all mixed together.
Atlas covered his face.
[I suddenly feel bad for everyone.]
Garion laughed loudly. "Hahaha! Don’t look so scared. Let’s start with something simple."
The athletes immediately became even more nervous.
Whenever Garion said something was simple, it was almost never simple.
Garion raised one hand and grinned. "Let’s do some cardio first."
Then, suddenly, he snapped his fingers.
SNAP!
The next instant, the gravity around the entire central training plaza became heavier.
BOOOOM!
Every athlete’s body sank slightly.
Some immediately dropped to one knee, while others gritted their teeth and barely managed to remain standing.
Even the stronger ones felt their muscles tighten under the sudden pressure.
Garion’s grin widened. "Good."
Atlas covered his face.
[This is not cardio. This is torture with extra steps.]
Garion pointed toward the far end of the plaza. "Everyone, start running."
The plaza went completely silent.
Garion’s smile became brighter. "Ten thousand laps."
The athletes froze.
Then the screaming began.
Garion laughed again as the first group was forced to move under the crushing gravity.
Rachel watched from beside him and sighed softly, but even she could not hide the faint smile on her face.
God Gym had officially entered war preparation.
