Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 752: Trading War for Real Estate

For several moments, the inside of the voidship remained silent as everyone stared at the unconscious Dragon Slayer lying on the floor.

The Dragon Gods looked at him, then at Rachel, before slowly turning their gazes toward Garion.

Their expressions were still proud, but there was something strange in their eyes now.

They were simply too shocked.

Varkhor finally released a long breath. "This result... was far easier than expected."

Garion grinned. "Told you."

Rachel stood beside him calmly, as if she had not just beaten a First Rank Divine Dragon Slayer unconscious with her bare hands.

Volkrath looked at the Dragon Slayer on the floor and muttered, "Against dragons, this man would have forced at least an Intermediate-Rank Dragon God to move."

Atlas folded his arms.

[Bad matchup. Very bad matchup.]

Aurelion frowned deeply. "With this..."

His gaze returned to Garion. "Garion, can we ask you and God Gym to handle the Dragon Slayers from now on?"

The air inside the ship changed.

The request he had just made was not small at all.

It meant the Dragon Gods were asking an outsider force to deal with an enemy that had already shaken several dragon clans.

Garion looked at them for a moment before grinning widely. "Of course I can, dear Dragon Gods."

The Dragon Gods’ expressions eased slightly.

Garion immediately raised one finger, and his smile turned businesslike. "But what do you want to pay me with?"

The Dragon Gods froze.

Rachel covered her mouth lightly, hiding a small smile.

Aurelion’s eyebrow twitched. "You are bargaining right now?"

Garion looked at him as if he had asked something stupid. "Obviously."

He pointed at the unconscious Dragon Slayer. "You want God Gym to handle these dragon-hunting weirdos. That means danger, time, manpower, research, training, and maybe even war. You think I’m doing that for free?"

Verdroth chuckled softly. "He is shameless, but not wrong."

Nyxvar nodded faintly. "Compensation is reasonable."

Varkhor looked at Garion for a moment before speaking. "I know you want to expand God Gym."

Garion’s eyes brightened slightly. "Oh?"

Varkhor continued, "The ancient fortress where we held the meeting before is not just an ordinary fortress."

He raised one hand, and a projection appeared in the air.

It showed the massive broken-star fortress surrounded by floating islands, palaces, docking platforms, dragon gates, and countless spatial routes.

"That place is one of the major hubs used by many dragon races. Different dragon clans pass through it, trade there, negotiate there, and gather there during large affairs."

Garion’s grin slowly widened.

Varkhor looked directly at him. "How about this?"

The projection zoomed toward one of the enormous floating islands near the core of the fortress. "This island will be given to you."

The Dragon Gods looked toward Varkhor, but none of them stopped him.

Varkhor continued, "You can turn it into a branch of God Gym."

Garion’s eyes became brighter.

Varkhor’s voice grew heavier. "And because that fortress is a dragon hub, your customers will mostly be dragons."

For a second, the voidship became quiet.

Atlas slowly turned toward Garion and immediately knew what he was thinking.

[Oh no.]

Garion thought about it for a moment before his grin widened even more.

Dragon customers meant strong customers.

And Garion loved strong customers.

Especially since his disciple, Dahlia, was also a dragon. If God Gym trained the dragon race properly, it could be useful to her as well.

Garion rubbed his hands together and said directly, "So you’re saying you will give me that fortress island to turn into my God Gym, but..."

His eyes rolled across the Dragon Gods. "Basically, it will become a private dragon gym in exchange for me offending the entire Dragon Slayer race."

Varkhor nodded. "That is basically it."

Garion grinned and directly grabbed Varkhor’s hand, shaking it firmly. "We have a deal."

The moment Garion said those words, the atmosphere inside the voidship finally eased.

Varkhor looked down at their joined hands, then slowly smiled. "Good."

Aurelion still looked somewhat annoyed, but even he did not object anymore.

After all, they had already seen enough of this crazy pair, Garion and Rachel.

If the two of them were already this abnormal, then just how abnormal would the private army they trained be?

If there was any outsider force that could deal with the Dragon Slayers without being suppressed by dragon-slaying aura, it was them.

Abyron nodded slowly. "Then we will be waiting for your news, Sir Garion."

Garion raised an eyebrow. "Sir Garion, huh?"

Atlas immediately muttered,

[Please don’t let that get to your head.]

Garion grinned wider. "Too late."

Rachel sighed softly beside him.

Selkhara looked toward the unconscious Dragon Slayer. "We will interrogate our captured enemies and investigate every trace left behind by their race."

Verdroth added with a faint smile, "Their bases, movement routes, hiding places, resource channels, and possible leaders."

Nyxvar’s black-purple eyes shifted toward Garion. "Once we find more confirmed Dragon Slayer locations, we will deliver the information to you."

Garion nodded. "Good."

Nyxvar raised one claw, and a black-purple spatial map slowly unfolded in the air.

Countless star points appeared, connected by thin lines of void energy.

He continued, "We will also send spatial coordinates."

Garion’s eyes brightened. "Coordinates?"

Nyxvar nodded. "Yes. With them, you and your people can teleport directly to the target regions later, as long as your spatial methods are stable enough."

Garion grinned. "Okay, thanks..."

Then he suddenly thought of something and turned to Atlas. "Wait a minute."

Atlas slowly looked at him.

[What now?]

Garion narrowed his eyes. "The mission isn’t complete."

The moment he said that, Atlas also froze.

The tiny system avatar quickly raised one hand, and a faint divine panel appeared before his eyes.

A few seconds later, his expression became serious.

[You’re right.]

Garion glanced at the unconscious Dragon Slayer lying on the floor. "Rachel defeated him already, but the mission wasn’t completed."

Atlas folded his arms and frowned.

[Of course it didn’t.]

Garion raised an eyebrow. "Of course?"

Atlas pointed at the Dragon Slayer.

[The one Rachel defeated is not the candidate.]

Garion’s eyes slowly widened. "Oh right... I forgot the mission is to defeat the candidate."

His gaze returned to the unconscious Dragon Slayer. "That means the candidate should be the strongest one, right?"

Atlas nodded.

[Of course he is.]

Garion’s grin slowly widened. "Hehe... this is getting really interesting."

His purple-black-white eyes glowed faintly. "I really want to meet him now."

Atlas narrowed his eyes.

[Meet who?]

Garion’s grin became even wider. "The candidate who created the Dragon Slayers."
