Help! My One-Night Stand Is Examining Me?!
Chapter 343 Cry in my arms
“Cry in my arms. Don’t hold it in.”
Alana’s eyelashes trembled, and her fingers quivered. “I can’t cry. I just can’t cry. I don’t need to cry over a woman who abandoned me and then showed up trying to ruin my happiness.”
A knot of emotion had been building up in her chest, growing heavier and heavier, yet she couldn’t let it out.
Stephan felt heartbroken at her stoicism; she was clearly in agony, yet she pretended not to care.
“Alright, then don’t cry. Let me take you somewhere to let it all out, okay?”
Alana looked up, staring blankly at the man’s chiseled jawline.
“How?”
“Come with me.”
Stephan picked Alana up and set her in the passenger seat, then fastened her seatbelt.
He then got into the driver’s seat and drove off.
********
Less than half an hour later, the car came to a stop.
“What is this...”
Alana glanced over and saw the words
“Extreme Sports Club.”
Stephan leaned over and unbuckled her seatbelt. “Come on, I’ll take you bungee jumping.”
Alana’s breath caught in her throat; she was a little scared. “Wait, I’ve never done anything like this before...”
Stephan smiled and gently stroked her head. “Don’t worry, I’m here. I’ll jump with you.”
And just like that, Alana was pulled out of the car by Stephan.
They arrived at the bungee jumping area.
Alana cautiously glanced up at the bungee platform high above, her heart racing.
It was so high!
It looked to be over a hundred meters high.
Noticing her nervousness, Stephan came over to her side and took her small hand. “Are you afraid of heights? If you’re afraid of heights, I’d choose a different activity.”
Alana shook her head. It wasn’t that she was afraid of heights; she’d simply never tried it before, which was why she was nervous.
“Why did you bring me here?”
Stephan smiled. “Whenever I’m in a bad mood or feeling stressed and need to let off some steam, I come here to jump. I think the feeling of jumping is exhilarating, so I figured since you’re in a bad mood, I’d bring you here to have some fun and let off some steam.”
Alana blinked. “So you have times when you’re in a bad mood or feeling stressed, too?”
“Everyone does.”
Well, Alana realized she’d asked a silly question.
Stephan reached out and ruffled her hair.
“If you’re ready, let’s start getting geared up.”
Alana couldn’t help but grip his hand tightly. “What should I do? I’m so nervous. Is it dangerous?”
“No, the safety measures are thorough.”
“Besides, I’ll be jumping with you. If anything happens, we’ll die together.”
Alana anxiously covered his thin lips with her hand. “Pfft, pfft, pfft! Don’t say things like that!”
Stephan smiled slightly, gently kissing the palm of her hand. “Trust me.”
Alana gazed at the tenderness in his eyes and was deeply moved. She nodded.
“Okay, I believe you.”
The two took the elevator all the way up to the observation deck.
The elevator was made of transparent glass on all sides. As they ascended, just looking down was enough to feel the terrifying height.
Alana dared not look down after just one glance.
What should she do? She suddenly realized she was a bit afraid of heights.
But since they were already here, she steeled herself and went ahead.
The staff fitted them both with the necessary equipment.
Once they were ready, Stephan helped Alana up to the bungee platform.
Alana’s legs were trembling slightly.
After all, trying something like this for the first time requires a strong ability to handle mental pressure.
Stephan, on the other hand, had done this many times before and was used to it; he kept encouraging Alana the whole time.
With his encouragement, Alana successfully stood on the bungee platform.
The wind whistled past.
Alana cast a helpless glance at Stephan, as if asking, “What’s next?”
Stephan smiled slightly, picked her up, and leaped into the void...
“Ah!”
The sensation of weightlessness washed over her.
Alana couldn’t help but scream.
Her long hair, tousled by the wind, brushed against her ears.
She instinctively closed her eyes and clung tightly to the only source of security on her body.
Stephan’s deep, powerful voice pierced through the howling wind and into her ears.
“Good girl, don’t close your eyes. Open them!”
Alana opened her eyes instantly.
The wind instantly blew into her eyes, stinging slightly.
But the moment she opened her eyes, she saw floating clouds, with layer upon layer of mountains stretching out below.
She felt as though her body were piercing through layer upon layer of air, plummeting straight down.
The wind pierced every pore of her body, opening her up completely; her blood roared and boiled!
Her initial fear gradually gave way to excitement and exhilaration.
Adrenaline was surging through her!
When she hit the ground, Alana lay on the safety net, unable to come to her senses for a long time.
She felt exhausted, yet exhilarated.
A feeling she’d never experienced before, so thrilling.
She was panting, her mind slowly settling from extreme exhilaration into stillness and emptiness.
The pent-up frustration in her chest had also found release in the explosive frenzy of the moment.
Tears had long since wet the corners of her eyes, though she didn’t know when they’d started falling.
Stephan lay beside her, turning on his side to gaze at her delicate, beautiful face. His slender fingertips gently traced the wet, red corners of her eyes, tenderly whispering;
“Cry. Crying it out should make you feel much better.”
Alana could no longer hold back; she buried her face in the man’s chest and clung to him tightly.
After a good cry, Alana felt much better.
The weight on her heart had been lifted, and she felt a sense of relief; her mind and body instantly became light and joyful.
She couldn’t help but hug the man beside her tightly, thanking him sincerely.
“Stephan, thank you.”
Stephan ruffled her hair. “It’s okay. It’s good to let those negative emotions out.”
Alana lifted her slightly flushed eyes. “What should I do? I want to make love to you...”
Stephan looked down at her. “Are you serious?”
Alana blushed. “Mm-hmm. Maybe I just got too excited earlier, so I need to do something to calm down.”
Stephan chuckled, “If you want to do it, just do it. Why do you need so many excuses?”
With her thoughts exposed by the man, Alana’s face flushed even deeper.
She just wanted to thank him properly.
If it weren’t for him, the negative emotions that had built up inside her over the years might have been suffocating her, unable to find an outlet.
But now, she felt that all those emotions had been released and set free with that leap she’d just taken.
Although part of it was to repay him, the truth was, she also wanted to make love to him passionately...
Stephan curved his lips, clearly reading her mind. “We’ll do that later. Can you stand up now?”
“Mm, my legs are a little wobbly.”
“I’ll carry you.”
Stephan slipped one arm under Alana’s armpit and the other under her knee, lifting her steadily into his arms as he strode away.
He had just settled her into the car.
she suddenly leaned in, her soft little hands tugging at his collar to pull him closer, her rosy lips pressing against his in a kiss.
