Heavenly Dungeon: My Subordinates Are All Woman Monsters

Chapter 103: Chapter 103: Experience Adventurers (part 1)
Ragnar opened the system interface and examined the man’s information.
[Name: Kyle]
[Race: Human]
[Level: 30]
Ragnar’s eyebrows rose slightly.
’Level 30 already?’
More importantly, Kyle had not come alone. The nine adventurers accompanying him were similarly well equipped, and their coordinated movements suggested that they belonged to an established group rather than a temporary team assembled for a dungeon raid.
Seeing the first human who had discovered his dungeon return at Level 30 was still somewhat interesting.
Kaelira, who stood beside the throne, noticed the change in Ragnar’s expression. She followed his gaze toward the floating screen, studying the ten adventurers before turning back to him.
"Do you know this human, my lord?"
Ragnar nodded.
"He’s the first human who discovered my dungeon. He was also the first person to enter it. Back then, he was just a hunter from a nearby village. He didn’t look particularly strong, and I never expected him to become a Level 30 so quickly."
Kaelira looked at Kyle again, paying closer attention to his equipment and posture.
’Let’s see how much you’ve improved, hunter.’
Ragnar leaned back against his throne, his glowing eyes following the group as they advanced deeper into the dungeon.
----
Meanwhile, Kyle and the nine members of his adventurer group, the Mad Wolves, had already entered the dungeon.
The interior was dimly illuminated by magical lights, casting faint shadows across the stone walls and the paths leading toward the deeper chambers. The atmosphere was familiar to Kyle, but that did not mean he intended to lower his guard.
He stopped at a junction and turned toward his companions.
"All right, listen carefully. According to the reports we’ve collected, the first area we’ll encounter is the spider nest. Most of you already know how to fight spiders, so I don’t expect this to be a difficult encounter. However, don’t assume that the monsters here are identical to the ones you’ve fought outside the dungeon."
The other nine adventurers gathered around him. Some checked the straps of their shields, while others adjusted their weapons or made sure their supplies were secure.
Kyle waited until he had everyone’s attention before continuing.
"The spiders here can be more dangerous than ordinary monsters of the same level, especially if we allow them to surround us. Their webs can restrict our movements, and if we get separated, we might end up fighting several of them without anyone watching our backs. We’ll move in formation and avoid chasing individual monsters into narrow passages."
His companions acknowledged his instructions.
The other members of the Mad Wolves followed behind him, maintaining a formation they had practiced countless times. Having fought together through numerous dangerous encounters, they understood one another’s roles well enough that Kyle rarely needed to give them detailed instructions during combat.
Soon, they arrived at the entrance to the spider nest.
Thick webs covered the walls and ceiling, stretching between the rocks like pale curtains. Several large spiders crawled across the strands, their many legs moving with unsettling speed. Deeper inside, more of the creatures could be seen lurking among the shadows, waiting for prey to wander into their territory.
One of the adventurers frowned as he surveyed the nest.
"There are quite a few of them. The reports weren’t exaggerating about the number of spiders living here."
Kyle studied the creatures for a moment before tightening his grip on his greatsword.
"Then we’ll finish this quickly. The front line will advance together, while the ranged fighters target any spiders attempting to climb above us. Don’t waste your skills on a single opponent unless you need to. We have no reason to drag out this fight."
He stepped into the nest without hesitation.
The nearest spiders immediately reacted to the intruders. Several rushed toward the group along the ground, while others climbed onto the walls and began moving toward the ceiling. One of the larger spiders opened its mandibles and released a stream of webbing toward Kyle, hoping to restrain him before he could reach the others.
Kyle’s expression remained calm.
"Too slow!"
He swung his greatsword.
The enormous blade swept through the air with enough force to tear apart the incoming webbing. Without slowing down, Kyle continued forward and brought the weapon down on the first spider that lunged at him. The impact crushed the creature against the stone floor, killing it almost instantly.
Another spider leaped toward his side, but Kyle simply twisted his body and swept his greatsword horizontally. The blade struck the creature in midair and sent its lifeless body crashing into the wall.
His movements were far more refined than those of an ordinary hunter. Although his weapon was large and heavy, he wielded it with the ease of someone accustomed to carrying its weight through countless battles. Every swing carried tremendous force, and he rarely wasted movement on unnecessary attacks.
The Berserker class suited him perfectly.
"Keep moving!" Kyle shouted. "Don’t let them surround us!"
The Mad Wolves advanced behind him.
the front line, preventing the spiders from slipping around Kyle’s flanks. Meanwhile, the ranged fighters launched arrows and spells at the creatures crawling along the walls. Each attack was carefully aimed, and the spiders were killed before they could gather in sufficient numbers to threaten the formation.
One spider attempted to descend behind the group, hoping to catch the rear line by surprise. However, an archer noticed it immediately and released an arrow that pierced its body, sending it tumbling to the ground.
"Behind us is clear!" the archer called out.
"Good. Keep watching the ceiling," Kyle replied.
The battle continued, but it quickly became apparent that the spiders were no match for the Mad Wolves.
The creatures relied on ambushes, webs, and their numerical advantage to overwhelm intruders. Against inexperienced adventurers, those tactics could be extremely effective. However, Kyle’s team had sufficient experience to recognize the danger, and their equipment allowed them to withstand attacks that might have seriously injured a less prepared group.
More importantly, they never gave the spiders an opportunity to isolate one of their members.
