GREED: ALL FOR WHAT?

Chapter 2560: Painting A God.

Chapter 2560: Painting A God.

This painted god of giants was a golden giant. It doesn’t have any divine ability of the pathway of giants. But it was bestowed the immense strength and the invincibility of the god of giants.

The god of illusion gazed at his creation with satisfaction. Then he pointed at the virtual body of the god of telepathy and said, “Kill him.”

The painted god of giants roared with a loud voice that shook the earth. Then it stumped the earth and rushed towards the god of telepathy.

Each stomp of the god of strength caused the earth to crumble and crack open. This time, the commotion didn’t go unnoticed. This was because the god of illusion didn’t bother to cover up his creation with the Invisibility divine ability.

The god of illusion wanted the whole world to see what he was capable of. He wanted everyone to see him defeat the god of telepathy. He also didn’t want to spend extra divine energy to cover up the god of strength.

The cost of using the Invisibility divine ability to cover up the god of strength is the main reason he didn’t hide his creation. He is currently winning this clash, but his victory has come at a great cost in terms of divine energy.

As the god of a single pathway, his divine energy capacity is 10,240 x 12 (Number of Divine Fragments) x (3 (Number of Souls in a Pathway) + 10 (Number of Divine Flesh)), which is 1,597,440. Just the god of strength cost him 153,600 units of divine energy to create, while the hundred thousand painted beings cost him 10 units of divine energy each to create.

He has already spent over 1 million of his divine energy in this clash, so he doesn’t want to spend more. So everyone will become aware that he is fighting someone.

As everyone was watching, they saw the god of strength rush at an invisible figure. They didn’t see who this figure was, but they saw that the fist of the god of strength connected with the figure and smashed them to the ground.

They were sure that the invisible figure had been smashed into the ground because there was a crater on the ground. Unfortunately, the shape of the crater was just a round depression in the ground, and it couldn’t tell them much about the identity of the person who had been smashed into the ground.

The god of illusion smiled triumphantly and said with pride, “Two can play this game.”

The virtual body of the god of telepathy was having a hard time. He was a bird and could fly. Unfortunately, he couldn’t avoid being pummeled into the ground by the fist of the painted god of strength because the giant was too big and his arm too long to avoid.

The worst part was that they couldn’t retaliate with their divine abilities because the god of giants was immune to every type of attack. The golden light shining around him nullified every kind of attack that came near it.

The only thing they could do was brawl with the golden giant. But that would be a waste of time because they wouldn’t gain much even if they defeated and destroyed it. After all, the god of illusion can still create another one.

This made Legion-2 say with displeasure, “So he is using our move against us. But we are not the same.”

Apparently, the two gods can fight each other with copies, but there is one glaring difference between them. This difference is that the god of illusion can be found, while they can’t be found.

Other gods will find it difficult to find the god of illusion, but not them. They decided to take advantage of this disparity between them to end this fight once and for all.

They had wanted to weaken the god of illusion before fighting him. But it seemed that they wouldn’t be able to get their way. So Legion activated the Roaming ultimate ability of the Mind Palace again and used it to create a second virtual body.

The ability to create a second virtual body is a perk that they gained after they reached 10% mastery of the Roaming ultimate ability. It costs them 102,400 units of divine energy to create this second copy.

The god of illusion was right to believe that he could force them to back down by destroying their virtual bodies. Since it costs them 102,400 units of divine energy, and they have a total of 1,966,080 units of energy, they can only create 19 virtual bodies before they run out of divine energy.

102,400 units of divine energy is a lot of energy. After all, a godling only has 122,880 units of divine energy. So one of their divine bodies costs 83.33% of the total energy capacity of a godling.

And seeing as they’ve spent over 200,000 units of divine energy for this fight, 102,400 for one virtual body, and 1 unit of divine energy for each of the over one hundred thousand virtual copies of their minds, they still have a lot of divine energy left for this fight.

Legion used this virtual body to attack the god of illusion. They know where he is mainly because he has not been hiding from them and because they can see him.

The god illusion has been staying in the city that he predicted in his story that they would fight him. So as long as they can see him, they can find him.

When the virtual body entered the city, they felt a large force descend on them, restricting their power and weakening them. This force came from the story that the god of illusion wrote about the fight.

The god of illusion had predicted that he would fight and defeat the god of telepathy in this city. In order for his story to come true, the god of telepathy had to be weakened so that the god of illusion would have no problems defeating the god of telepathy.
