Chapter 2549: More Divine Energy.

The conversion of the rank 10 divine ability into divine flesh and the addition of this divine flesh to their divine body to increase their power and serve as a new container of divine energy increased their energy capacity.

Not only that, the 12 divine fragments from the Mind Palace that fused with their soul also elevated the quality of divine energy that their divine body and divine soul can carry by 12 times.

All of these are why the divine energy capacity of a single pathway increased from 10,240 units of divine energy being carried by 3 souls and 9 divine flesh to 10,240 × 12 units of divine energy being carried by 3 souls and 10 divine flesh.

This change increased their capacity of divine energy for a single pathway from 122,880 units to 1,597,440 units. This is an increase of 13 times in divine energy for a single pathway. This is greater than the increase of 2.56 times for the increase of divine energy from being an angel to being a godling.

But as impressive as all of these are, it is only the beginning for them. Their divine power and their capacity for divine energy can still be improved.

Their divine power can be increased by eating more divine beings to raise their raw power and by fusing with more authorities in order to raise the divinity in their souls and their divine power.

As for their divine energy, the only way to increase it is to fuse with more authorities and become the god of many more pathways. This is something that is easy for them to do, and by the time they are done with this option, they should have four times as much divine energy as the god of dreams.

Aside from their increase in power in terms of divine energy, divine power, and their raw power, there is another increase in their power that is due to the acquisition of a new authority.

They have gained temporary control of the Seed of Dreams, so they can borrow its ultimate ability. Unfortunately, the full power of the Dream Domain ultimate ability can not be displayed in their hands because they don’t have the pathway of dreams.

The Dream Domain creates an environment that enhances the power of the divine abilities of the pathways of dreams. So they need to have dream-based divine abilities to fully enjoy this ultimate ability.

In the past, before they became gods, they could borrow divine abilities from their slaves through the pathway of slaves. Unfortunately, they can’t do that right now because they can’t switch to the divine body of the pathway of slavery anymore.

They can use borrowed divine abilities when they are in the divine form of the pathway of slavery, but they can’t do that right now because the divine form of the pathway of telepathy can’t be changed to a weaker divine form.

So they can only use the Dream Realm ultimate ability to suppress the divine abilities of other pathways that are not mental in nature and need to interact with the world before they can take effect.

This is a good power to have. It is just not as impressive as it can be with the divine abilities of the pathway of dreams.

But all of these are changes to their state of existence due to their advancement to become the god of a pathway. There are some new things that don’t necessarily increase their power that they can now perceive about their existence, thanks to using their Cognitive Adaptation divine ability.

Thanks to the Cognitive Adaptation divine ability, they have now become able to tell what aspects each pathway can provide. This is even though they haven’t mastered any ultimate ability of any of their four pathways.

Just knowing the aspect that their pathway will produce when fully mastered and fused with, allowed their ultimate abilities to gain a leap in mastery from 0% to 10%. This is incredible because they shouldn’t be gaining any mastery for ultimate abilities that they haven’t become the god of.

In comparison, they have 11% mastery in the Roaming ultimate ability. So they have only gained an extra 1% mastery for being the god of the pathway.

The small amount of mastery that they gained in the Roaming ultimate ability for being the god of the pathway is normal. After all, gaining mastery in an ultimate ability is very difficult, and they haven’t been a god in the pathway for long.

Another thing that is normal is to learn the aspect that a pathway provides after completely mastering the ultimate ability of the pathway and sacrificing the divine abilities of the pathway to elevate it. So Legion’s case of knowing what the aspect is so early and gaining 10% mastery ahead of time is clearly abnormal.

But this abnormality is a good thing for them. So they didn’t fret about it.

Another thing that was abnormal about them is the speed at which they are fusing with the authorities in their possession. It is already abnormal that they don’t face any resistance from the authority, as they try to fuse with it, which made them only require one year to fuse completely with it, but their speed of fusion has become faster now.

The reason that they needed one year to completely fuse with an authority was that their existence was too small and needed some time to accommodate the authority, even though the authority was resisting them. But now that they’ve become gods, their existence has ballooned in size, so they can fuse faster with an authority.

As godlings of four pathways, the speed at which they fused with authorities increased by 16 times compared to the time when they first became an angel of telepathy.

After becoming a god, the speed of fusion has increased by 3 times. So their speed of fusion has increased by a total of 36 times compared to when they first became an angel.
