Chapter 2546: Hunting For Food.

Before they went to hunt other beings, they first ate the god of dreams and his souls. This granted them nearly 30,000 units of power, which they split between increasing the power of their divine body and the power of their divine souls.

But mastering the ultimate ability of a pathway is far more important than acquiring more power. This is because mastering their ultimate ability is an unavoidable step if they want to become an Absolute.

To be exact, they need to master their ultimate ability completely if they want to fuse the pathway into their existence completely, and they need to fuse the pathway into their existence completely if they want to reconnect to the origin and become an Absolute.

The gods of this world can be compared to the origin gods of the void universe, and the authority of a pathway can be compared to the concept of an origin god, while the divine abilities of a pathway are the laws that make up the concept.

If a god has a part of their existence, such as their avatar or divine flesh, still alive when they die, they will be able to resurrect faster. If the god of killing had this ability, then his ending wouldn’t have been so miserable.

Any god that has fused with their pathway will be able to return as long as no one has taken away their position as the god of the pathway in their absence. This is why the god of guardians didn’t want the god of killing to fuse with the pathway completely and why a god that has fused with the pathway completely always recovers all of the divine flesh of their pathway in existence.

In the void universe, once one becomes an origin god, the next task for them is to accumulate enough origin essence in their concept and sacrifice other concepts to it to create a supreme law. This step cannot be omitted in this world either.

This world, after fusing completely with the pathway and making it their own, the next step is to accumulate enough divinity and sacrifice the divine abilities of their pathways into the Authority of the pathway in order to create supreme authority.

And since a supreme law must have four aspects for it to be successful, the gods in this world must have four sources of power in order for their supreme authority to be successful.

One pathway can only produce one aspect in this world. For example, the authority of the pathway of undying represents the pathway of Independence. So gods must find other sources of aspect for their supreme law.
