Chapter 2545: Subdue A Pathway.

Legion-3 urged them, saying, “I think we should kill every telepath in the pathway, so that no god will be able to use them to threaten us.”

Legion-8, another soul in control of the pathway of telepathy, said, “I think controlling every telepath is a better idea. We can use the Gestalt divine ability to control each of them. Then we can use them as our eyes and ears in the physical dimension.”

Legion-9, the last soul in control of the pathway of telepathy, said in agreement, “That’s a good idea. That way, we can secretly acquire information about the world just like the god of knowledge. We can keep our control of the pathway indeed, so gods that don’t know and try to create a vessel in the pathway of telepathy will be caught off guard.”

Legion-2, another soul in the pathway of killing, said, “The only god that we have to watch out for trying to create a vessel to steal our power is the god of illusion. Since we are going to kill him soon, I don’t think we need to be wary of vessels. But you’re right about the usefulness of the information advantage that we will gain once we secretly control every telepath.”

They have decided to kill or control every godclad in their pathway. Now they are working on deciding on who they will kill to eat for power.

When they were still mortals and we’re picking pathways to advance through, the more important criterion that they picked was the presence of a god in the pathway.

They didn’t want a god standing above them, blocking their path and bullying them. The first angel of telepathy, the demigods, and the legendary telepaths had banded against Legion for these same reasons.

As it turned out, those people were right to resist Legion becoming a god. Unfortunately, they were too weak and failed to stop Legion from becoming the god of the pathway.

They were right to be afraid of a god in the pathway because as soon as Legion became the god of the pathway, the first thing they decided to do was to eliminate everyone in their pathway. This is an easy thing for them to do as the god of the pathway.

The authority of the pathway is connected to every godclad in the pathway through their divine flesh, and since they are the god, they have control over the authority of the pathway and can use its connection to every godclad in their pathway to find those godclads.

Finding the godclads in their pathway is very easy. Subduing them is also very easy thanks to the omnipresent Mindscape. All they need to do is descend to the location of the telepath with a virtual copy and attack their minds with the Gestalt divine ability.

Everything went smoothly for them. This was also because the strongest telepaths of the pathway that are still not under the control of Legion are the two demigods who escaped from the battlefield of the Mind Palace after the first angel and Legion began to fight.

There were no angels or legends because they had all been killed by the god of dreams when his vessel infected their dreams, used their minds to channel the power of the god of dreams into himself.

In essence, the pathway of telepathy had been decimated during the struggle for the position of the god of the pathway. But now, Legion was eliminating every trace of resistance in the pathway.

The good thing about what they did was that the pathway of telepathy could now flourish. Now that telepaths are united, they can help each other and recruit more telepaths into the pathway en masse.

Godclads don’t go around helping each other or helping mortals advance to become godclads. But this is going on in the pathway of telepathy, which might make it become the largest pathway.

While this was going on, Legion was also hunting godlings, subordinate gods, and gods. They didn’t leave the Mindscape and instead used their ultimate ability called Roaming to do the hunting.

The Roaming ultimate ability is an ability that allows the god of telepathy to make use of their full power through the Mindscape without being physically present.

Once this ultimate ability is activated, a virtual body is created. This virtual body is identical to their true body in almost every way. The only difference between the virtual body and their true body is that the virtual body can’t use the divine abilities of their three other pathways.

The virtual body is not a phantom object like the virtual copy. It can react physically with the world, unlike the virtual copy. This is because it is a physical object with a divine body.

Other than the divine abilities of their other pathways and the lack of outer bodies, the virtual body has the power of their divine body and their divine soul. But its death will not affect them at all.

They will only lose some divine energy if the virtual body is destroyed. As long as they have divine energy, they can always reactivate the Roaming ultimate ability and create another virtual body.
