After two minutes, he was done with his calculations. The result of his calculations made him smile.

He even became jovial with Legion and laughed as he said, “What wonderful news. I knew you were a pleasant person as soon as I laid my eyes on you.”

Legion said, “It seems that you’re satisfied with my information.”

He laughed and said, “Of course, I’m satisfied. I’m so satisfied that I won’t try to cheat you on the information you asked for. I’ll even offer you help.”

“I don’t know where the Authority of the pathway of slavery is, but I know that it has been in the possession of the god of nobles for a long time and has been hidden by him.”

Legion didn’t like this answer because it didn’t tell them exactly where the Authority was, and because they didn’t like the fact that another god was in possession of it.

But they remained silent and let the angel of knowledge speak.

The man said, “If this were earlier, when I was angry with you, I would have stopped here. But I like you, so I’ll tell you why the god of nobles took the authority of the pathway of slavery even though this information isn’t part of our deal.”

“The god of nobles took the authority because he needed it to advance. The pathway of slavery and the pathway of knights are compatible with each other. After all, all three pathways gain their power or exert it by ruling other people.”

“Nobles rely on their bloodline and the people in tjay bloodline as their source of power. Knights rely on the people in their army while slave masters rely on everyone that they can enslave.”

The angel of knowledge laughed when he heard their question. He laughed so hard that he slapped his thighs.

This new oath made Legion as a whole contemplate whether they should accept the new offer. They were tempted by the offer and would like to know more about what the god of knowledge had to say, but they didn’t know what they should offer for the knowledge.
