Chapter 1684: Part 1: Sandfall ruin

Hank met with the two old City Guards. He understood their questions.

“I will tell you the answer later. But first, tell me what’s going on with the city guards. Why are they everywhere?” Hank asked them.

The two old guards looked at each other’s faces. According to the rules, they couldn’t say anything, but Hank was an old acquaintance.

The eyes of the second old man fell on Hank.

Seeing that both old men were looking at him, he decided to reveal some news.

“The reason I was able to recover was because of my Master. I can’t reveal further news without his order,” Hank said to them.

“Master…” the old man uttered.

The two old men exchanged looks. They understood that Hank had joined some force. They wanted to know more about Hank’s master.

The next second, one of their digital devices rang. The old man attended the call. One of the city guards was calling them.

Seeing that, the faces of the two old men changed drastically. They had to go.

“Hank, it’s nice to see you. We will meet again next time. It would be best if we can meet your master,” the old man said.

“Yes, see you next time.” After saying that, both old men left the place.

Hank watched them leave. But his heart was still turbulent. They had just escaped from the forbidden forest.

Now they have gotten into another crisis. He knew about the City Lord here. He was a very selfish person. He didn’t know what he would do to hide the news.
