Chapter 1675: Hidden rooms!

“These things were dropped here. But where are they?” I asked myself.

Then, my gaze fell on both sides of the walls. The side walls were made of sand. I used the system to check whether there were any secret doors present.

The system results came back positive. My heart was stirred. No wonder they were not here. They must have entered the secret room.

After getting some understanding, I started touching both sides of the walls. I was looking for the keys to enter the secret room.

But I couldn’t find anything. Either that, or I had to start from the entrance again. I didn’t have time for that.

Then, my gaze fell on the end of the tunnel. The end of the tunnel was still dark. Maybe I could find some answers at the end.

Swoosh!

The next second, I increased my pace and started darting towards the end of the tunnel. I was moving faster.

I reached the end of the tunnel a few minutes later. What lay at the end of the tunnel was a black door. My gaze fell on it.

A hint of surprise flashed in my eyes.

Since I had seen the old man break the door, I could break the door as well.

Boom!

I struck the door with brute force. The next second, the black door broke into many pieces. A hidden room came into view.

Seeing that, I immediately used the system function to check whether the room was empty or not.

The system results came back negative. I heaved a sigh of relief. Then I walked into the room and used my gadget to illuminate it.

The next second, several clay figurines came into view. The clay figurines were not small; they were adult-sized clay figurines.

A hint of surprise flashed in my eyes.

I didn’t know what was up with these adult-sized figurines.

[Ding! Warning]

[Supreme Wizard and Level-9 Wizards detected]

The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, I turned around and looked at the entrance. I saw a group of wizards entering the passage.

Among them was the old man, who was the Supreme Wizard.

My eyes flashed with doubt. This room was a dead end. There was no secret room behind this room. Only the spaces next to the passage walls had hidden rooms.

I didn’t know what they had found here.

Swoosh!

Then I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion. I immediately went to the control room, appeared in front of the control mirror, and started waiting for them to appear.

Outside,

The Supreme Wizard and the Level-9 Wizards started walking into the tunnel.

A few minutes later,

They too found the gadgets on the ground. They belonged to the group of wizards that had entered earlier. The old man had brought six wizards behind him.

Then he raised his head and saw the room at the end of the tunnel.

“Follow me,” the old man uttered.

Hearing that, the Level-9 Wizards started following him. Then they walked up to the end of the tunnel.

The old man saw the broken black door and the hidden room. Everyone walked into the room and spotted the human sized clay figurines.

The old man was surprised. He then used his mental power to check whether any danger was hidden here.

But he found nothing. His senses were alright.

The Level-9 Wizards didn’t find anything either. The room was safe.

“Where are they?” the old man asked himself.

The Level-9 Wizards were surprised as well, because they didn’t know where the other wizards were. They had entered before them.

The old man’s eyes flickered. He began to check the room. He too suspected that there could be hidden rooms.

Because he didn’t find any sign of a fight or blood, it meant they were safe. But they must have hidden in other rooms.

He then turned towards the Level-9 Wizards.

He said, “There must be hidden rooms located nearby. It’s impossible for them to be alone.”

Hearing that, the Level-9 Wizards nodded their heads.

The old man then ordered the Level-9 Wizards to look for the hidden rooms.

Swoosh!

The next second, the Level-9 Wizards started looking for the hidden rooms.

Inside the Gregor Mansion, I heard their conversation. I didn’t expect the old man to find the solution so quickly.

I saw that the Level-9 Wizards were looking for the hidden rooms in those walls.

Boom!

Suddenly, a door appeared on the side of the wall.

Seeing that, the Level-9 Wizards darted out towards the hidden room. The old man’s eyes flickered.

He too disappeared from the spot. He quickly appeared in front of the hidden door.

The Level-9 Wizards were standing there as well. They were waiting for the order.

The old man’s gaze fell on the door. He immediately went forward to open it.

Boom!

He pushed the door. The Level-9 Wizards were standing behind him. They were ready to explore the room.

Creak!

The next second, the door opened. Before he could open the door fully…

Dark colored roots appeared out of nowhere. These dark roots struck the bodies of the Level-9 Wizards.

Puchak!

It was so sudden that they didn’t expect the attack.

The dark roots tore through their bodies one by one. But these dark tree roots didn’t drop the Level-9 Wizards.

They continued to suck their blood one by one.

The old man’s eyes filled with terror.

“10th Order Monster,” he uttered in shock.

Swoosh!

The next second, he started fleeing towards the entrance.

One of the dark roots started chasing down the old man.

The old man was a Supreme Wizard. The dark tree roots had the power of the 10th order. They could easily kill the Level-9 Wizards.

When it came to a Supreme Wizard, they could fight against them as well. If it were an average Supreme Wizard, they would be easily targeted by the dark roots.

But the old man was not ordinary. He came to the entrance and exited the place. The dark tree roots came to a stop at the entrance.

They didn’t move out of the tunnel.
