Chapter 1674: Breaking the black door!

Inside the Gregor Mansion, I was looking at the huge black door on the control mirror. I wondered what they were going to do next.
Outside
A few level-9 wizards went out to bring the Supreme Wizards. They were trying to break the door, but the black door was solid.
They couldn’t use their magic spells. If they used a magic spell, then the place could be destroyed.
If that happened, then the Wizard families would be angry.
Not long after, an old man came to the spot. He was the Supreme Wizard. His gaze fell on the wizards there.
Still, no one knew about the two dead wizards. They were busy trying to break the black door.
The old man took back his gaze. He walked up to the black door. He found there was no knob whatsoever.
The old man then raised his hand and placed it on the door. Then, he tried to push it.
The brute force of the Supreme Wizard struck the black door.
Boom!
A terrifying noise sounded. The shock force spread across the place.
Tremor!
The next second, the underground started shaking. Everyone’s expressions changed drastically. They didn’t know where the ceiling was going to fall.
The old man’s eyes flickered. He didn’t even use a magic spell. It was just brute force. Yet, it had caused such reactions.
Shortly afterwards,
The tremor was gone. Everyone was at ease. The old man’s eyes fell on the black door. This time, the black door had a single crack in it.
The crack was small. But it proved the fact that the black door could be broken.
Gasp!
A small exclamation sounded in the room. The Level-9 Wizards saw that crack on the door. Seeing that, they realized the door could be broken.
The old man’s eyes flickered. He once again used his palm on the door.
Boom!
Once again, he used force on the door. Another deafening noise sounded. The crack further expanded.
In the blink of an eye, the cracks extended to every part of the door.
The Level-9 Wizards were looking at the door with expectation. They couldn’t wait to see what was behind the door.
The old man was the most excited. He didn’t expect to break the door so easily. If he found any useful resources, then the allied forces would reward him.
Inside the Gregor Mansion, my eyes sharpened. I heard their conversation. Like them, I was interested in finding out what was behind the black door as well.
Outside
When the cracks expanded fully, the old man used force again.
Boom!
The next second, the door broke into several pieces, revealing the space inside.
Gasp!
The Level-9 Wizards were shocked. Then, their eyes filled with excitement.
The old man took a sharp breath. His gaze then fell on the Level-9 Wizards.
He said, “Take a few people, go, and check the situation inside.”
Hearing that, four Level-9 Wizards stepped forward. There was no light whatsoever inside the space.
They didn’t know whether it was a room or a passage.
The four wizards walked inside. Their backs disappeared from everyone’s sight.
The old man raised his eyebrows. He couldn’t wait for them to check out the situation and come back outside.
He wanted to see the valuables and confirm it with his own eyes. Then, he would inform the higher-ups in person.
Inside the Gregor Mansion, I saw the dark space inside the black door. They didn’t know whether it was a room or a tunnel.
But I noticed that the old man was not willing to use his mental power. Instead, he sent a few men inside.
If he had used his mental power, it would have been easy for them to check out the situation.
Time passed
It had been more than 20 minutes. But there was no sign of the four wizards coming back. The old man frowned.
He started thinking the place could be a tunnel.
So, he decided to wait. The Level-9 Wizards behind him were quiet. They were not making any comments.
Yet, imagination was running wild in their minds. They didn’t think the team could have suffered something bad.
Because they were Wizards. If there was something dangerous inside, then they would have sensed it already.
Especially the old man; he would have sensed it first.
So, they were relaxed for the time being.
Time went by
The old man’s expression changed more than half an hour later. This time, he was serious. He couldn’t wait any further.
So, he turned towards the wizards behind him and told them to enter the place.
Hearing that, the Level-9 Wizards were shocked. Finally, they started to feel something was wrong. But no one had the courage to say anything.
Upon seeing the expression of the Supreme Wizard, they had to obey his order. Then, the rest of the people walked into the place.
The old man saw their backs disappearing slowly. When they were gone from the place, only the old man remained standing on the ground.
Suddenly, he thought of a good idea.
He decided to go back and bring a few more wizards with him. He didn’t want to stay here alone.
Swoosh!
He vanished from the place.
On the other hand, I appeared outside. Seeing that no one was here, my gaze turned towards the black space.
“No one came back. I’m wondering what’s going on?” I asked myself.
Then, I entered the place and started walking inside. There was only a black space in front of me. I didn’t know whether it was a tunnel or a room.
As the seconds passed by, I continued to walk further.
Finally, I spotted a bright light flashing ahead. The light illuminated the place. The place turned out to be a tunnel.
Right now, I was walking inside the tunnel.
After getting confirmation, my eyes turned solemn. The bright light must belong to the wizards who entered earlier.
The next second, I started increasing my pace. I got closer to the bright light a few minutes later.
As seconds passed, I got closer to the bright light. When I got closer, I noticed the bright light was a gadget used by the wizards who entered earlier.
But it was dropped here. There was no sign of the Level-9 Wizards here.
