Edmund was in the Black Tower. Wherever he went, he found the members talking about the Remote City incident. Until now, no one knew the identity of the Forbidden Wizards.
His old face darkened. He didn’t want others to know about the shameful defeat. Though, it couldn’t be called a full-fledged fight. He had been defeated at the hands of Forbidden Wizard Erwin.
Both of them had compared their rule power. In the end, his rule power was found to be lacking. He hated to admit it.
But it was the truth. His eyes filled with fear as he thought about Forbidden Wizard Erwin’s strength.
He doubted whether anyone in the Black Tower could compete with him, except the Elder-level powerhouses here. He thought that Forbidden Wizard Erwin would attain such status soon.
In order to avoid the awkward situation, he decided to leave the magic city for a couple of weeks. He wouldn’t be coming back unless the current matter died down.
He planned to take his student, Rowan, with him.
A hint of anger appeared in his eyes when thinking about the Sutton Family. They were at fault here. If not for their schemes, they wouldn’t be facing a dire crisis right now.
But he was glad that Rowan was able to get that Evil Wind Magic Fruit. His magic power has become deadlier than before.
Meanwhile
The news was spreading like wildfire. The whole magic city was talking about it.
This included the Wizard families, business organizations, and other forces. They were discussing the identity of the people who had gone there.
They wanted to know the identity of the Forbidden Wizards.
They also wanted to know about the wizard who got the outer space item. The news of the outer space item was important to them.
Not long ago, they had heard a rumor regarding it, but none of them believed it.
If they had known the Sutton Family was behind the scenes, they would have sent someone to get that item.

Silver Tower
Susan Park, Wilfred Cox, and Jason Nicholson left the Silver Tower. They understood that they had pissed off Vincent Carey.
Manager Lara made it clear that Vincent Carey got no favors from the Forbidden Wizards and Elders.
If they still had any doubts, they could ask Forbidden Wizard Charlotte in person. But none of them were ready to do that, so they left the place.
Manager Lara sighed. She could tell that they were insecure. She hoped that they would repair their relationship soon.
She found that Vincent Carey’s progress was fast. If they didn’t do anything about it, they would only be able to see his back.
She then went back to her office.

Mistfall City
Patrick and Otto were walking around a small hotel. Not many people were staying there.
They had chosen the hotel because it was not very attractive. They believed that spies wouldn’t be near such places.
Otto was using his magic to hear the conversations around him. He frowned. Everyone was talking about the Remote City incident.
They were glad that they were not there; otherwise, they would have been exposed.
Patrick was keeping an eye on the surroundings as well. He took the order of the Master seriously.
He had started to believe that the outer space item had ended up at the hands of Master Vincent or the Forbidden Wizard behind him.

From MC’s Perspective
About two hours later,
The Black Raven aircraft reached the city. Before it could go closer, I stopped the aircraft and turned off the stealth.
Then, I appeared outside and collected the aircraft into the system space.
I touched down on the ground and started walking on foot. I was using the magic robe of the Silver Tower, which could attract attention.
Swoosh!
I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion and quickly changed into common wizard clothes.
Now, I looked like the Wandering Wizards.
I appeared outside wearing a face mask. Then I started walking on foot. It didn’t take long for me to join the main road.
Then I looked at the scene ahead, which stunned me.
[Ding! Warning]
[Magic Lord detected]
The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, I was stunned. Then I thought the backer behind Mistfall City could have done it.
The outer space item brought out everyone’s greed. Now I couldn’t go inside without revealing my identity.
If I revealed my identity as Vincent Carey, there would be more people interested in my whereabouts than the outer space item.
“It appears we have to change the city,” I said to myself.
Then I phoned Patrick. I asked them to check out of the hotel and come outside as soon as possible.
About 20 minutes later,
Patrick and Otto came outside. After leaving the main gate area, I met with them.
“Master, what’s going on?” Patrick asked.
“The Magic Lord has come,” Otto replied.
Hearing that, I sighed inwardly.
“An outer space item has alerted every independent city. They have sent their people out to find some clues,” I said to them.
“Master, what do we do now?” Patrick asked.
Otto’s expression was serious.
“Mistfall City is too close to the border. It’s normal for everyone’s eyes to be set here. We have to find another remote city.”
“The land outside the magic union is vast. We could find a suitable city for us,” I said to them.
Otto heard the plan. He agreed to leave. Patrick had no problem either. Both of them checked out.
Hearing that, I nodded to them. I didn’t know where to go right now.
I started coming up with a solution. Apart from the vast barren land, there are forbidden areas and hundreds of independent cities.
There is also the Dark Territory where evil people live. I couldn’t go to any of these places.
