Chapter 1645: Erwin’s dominance

Chapter 1645: Erwin’s dominance

From MC’s Perspective:

Inside the third room, I was watching Lord Erwin’s actions. With a stomp, he created a deep pit in the ground.

But when my gaze fell on the golden artifact, my eyes flashed with a glint. It was the appearance of the sealing Artifact. I didn’t expect it to be a shield-type.

“Interesting,” I muttered.

Outside:

Rowan and the others were shocked. The appearance of the golden shield surprised everyone, especially those who had suspected the middle aged man earlier.

Now, they shut their mouths. They realized that the middle aged man was really going to break the barrier.

All of a sudden, two men came out of nowhere. They were none other than City Lord Dorian and Guardian Marvin.

The crowd recognized City Lord Dorian, but they didn’t know Guardian Marvin. Then, they saw the two of them walking towards the middle aged man.

Rowan’s eyes flickered. He recognized Guardian Marvin; he had come here because of their invitation.

Rowan started realizing something was wrong. He thought it was the work of the Sutton Family. They must have faced the barrier here.

A hint of anger appeared in his eyes. If he hadn’t been careful, he would have died from the red mist.

“What were they planning?” Rowan thought.

At that time, Erwin noticed that two people were coming towards him. He then took his gaze off the golden shield.

He turned around and looked towards Marvin and City Lord Dorian. His eyes gleamed with a twinkle.

Without waiting for them to say anything, he turned back around and tried to retrieve the golden shield Artifact.

If he had wanted to destroy it, it would have been easy. But he wanted to give the Artifact to Vincent Carey. He entered the pit and extended his right hand to collect it.

The powerful golden sealing Artifact was like a toy to him. He easily deactivated it.

Buzz!

The next second, the golden light coming from the heart of the Artifact stopped. Immediately after, the barrier covering the building started to disappear.

Seeing that, the faces of everyone changed drastically, especially the faces of City Lord Dorian and Marvin.

They were petrified on the spot, seeing someone retrieve the item without any harm coming to them. The Artifact could kill a Magic Lord, but the middle-aged man collected it effortlessly.

Both of their bodies trembled in fear. The barrier was gone in the blink of an eye. The red mist then started flowing outside.

Seeing that, the Black Tower Wizard Rowan and the other wizards around him breathed a sigh of relief.

At that time, many wizards were unconscious on the ground. Some were gasping for breath. When the red mist cleared from the place, they could finally catch their breath.

City Lord Dorian was clueless about what to do next. One thing was confirmed: they could not beat the middle aged man.

Guardian Marvin was thinking the same. He wanted to retreat, but he didn’t have the courage to do so.

If the middle aged man decided to attack, he would have no way to defend himself.

At that time, Elder Abel, standing outside, was stunned. He didn’t expect the barrier to disappear all of a sudden. His expression changed drastically.

“What happened?”

“Has the plan failed?” He asked himself.

Then he saw the red mist coming out of the auction house. Seeing that, his face turned even uglier.

He didn’t know why the red mist was coming out. He was worried that something had happened to the Young Master.

Swoosh!

He shifted from his spot and appeared inside the auction house. His gaze first fell on the office. At this time, Young Master Hale was standing outside.

He was perfectly fine, but he looked scared. His forehead was covered in cold sweat.

Elder Abel immediately shifted his gaze towards the place where the Sealing Artifact was located. However, his gaze fell on the middle aged man.

Gulp!

His pupils shrank, and he gulped down his saliva.

The appearance of the old man stunned the people. They realized what had happened. The barrier was gone. The red mist was going outside and disappearing into the surroundings.

It posed no threat to others anymore. The next second, the wizards fled from the scene. Only the Magic Lords and guests from the second floor remained.

Erwin saw old man Abel as well. Because he was in a happy mood, he didn’t react yet. Not only had he gotten the outer space item, but he had obtained the sealing Artifact as well.

By doing so, he had foiled the plan of the Sutton Family.

Erwin knew old man Abel. He had seen him before. So did old man Abel. Neither of them spoke as their eyes confronted each other.

Abel was scared inside. The worst thing had happened. He didn’t expect a variable to appear.

The variable turned out to be the most dangerous kind.

“Mage Union powerhouse. The Forbidden Wizard of the Silver Tower,” Abel said inside his heart.

Swoosh!

The next second, old man Abel disappeared from the spot. He appeared next to Young Master Hale. He was about to grab Hale’s hand and flee.

Boom!

Lord Erwin released a monstrous coercion. The coercion was controlled, yet it slammed into old man Abel.

“Aahhhh!”

The old man let out a scream. His body hurled through the air before crashing into the wall.

The powerful Elder Abel, who was close to Forbidden Wizard strength, was easily blasted away from the spot.

Young Master Hale froze on the spot. He didn’t know what to say. He had full trust in Elder Abel. He was the pillar behind his plan.

Now he was beaten just like that. The rest of the wizards were the same. They were too scared to move away from the place.

Including the Black Tower Wizard Rowan. He had been looking forward to the arrival of his mentor. He thought that even if his mentor arrived, he would be no match for Forbidden Wizard Erwin.

Erwin saw everyone’s reaction. He had no plan of letting them go. So many wizards had died; someone needed to take responsibility.
