Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1642 1642: Erwin's surprise move

Auction House

Elder Abel was standing outside. Young Master Hale had just called him and told him the plan. Young Master Hale was going to activate the sealing artifact next.

Elder Abel didn’t want any problems to occur. His eyes glanced at the entrance of the city. He didn’t see any Magic Lords or Forbidden Wizards, so the place was still safe.

Once the second plan was executed, he would need to escort Young Master Hale back home safely.

Stage

The female staff member was disappointed. No one was making a bid so far. She, too, realized that super-grade mana stones were expensive. They could only be found in the Magic City.

She didn’t know whether anyone here had 500 million mana stones. Just as she was clueless about what to do…

Buzz!

Something happened. The sealing Artifact hidden underground in the middle of the auction house was activated.

A golden light shot from the ground. It went piercing through the surface floor and reached the ceiling before going outside.

The golden light then stopped in the sky and started to envelop the whole auction house. In the blink of an eye, a golden layer covered the building’s exterior.

A hint of relief flashed in the old eyes of Elder Abel. He thought that the second plan was about to be implemented now.

Office Room

Hale grinned from ear to ear. Everyone was trapped now. He could use the item to kill everyone here.

The Guardian, Marvin, was shocked. His heart was racing. He hoped that the Magic Lords would die next so he wouldn’t have to face them.

On the other hand, City Lord Dorian was sweating as well. Cold sweat covered his forehead. He knew the plan had reached the end.

Once everyone died here, he would escape with Young Master Hale.

Stage

The female presenter and the staff were shocked. They just didn’t know what had happened.

Gasp!

An exclamation rang out. The people on the first floor started panicking. Something dangerous just flashed before their eyes before disappearing into the ceiling.

The Supreme Wizards and the Magic Lords in the rooms found that the golden light’s emergence gave them palpitations.

They knew something was wrong. If they didn’t find out what it was, they would be in trouble.

1st Room

The middle-aged man was shocked to the core. He was walking back and forth. He wanted to ask someone what that was.

He was still comprehending what had just happened.

4th Room

The middle-aged woman felt a bad premonition. Her heart wanted her to leave, but her mind was set on the outer space item.

She wanted to see who was going to bid for it.

5th Room

The Black Tower Wizard, Rowan, was stunned.

“What was that light?” he muttered.

He felt a bad premonition. He didn’t know whether his mentor had arrived or not. He took his device out to call, but the call did not connect.

His facial expression changed drastically. Earlier, he had made a call to his mentor. But what happened now? He tried once again, but he failed.

“Something is not right,” he thought.

3rd Room

Erwin smiled. He was expecting this to happen. No one made a bid, and the person behind the scenes activated the sealing Artifact.

He then stood up and immediately exited the room. Then, he started walking down to the stage.

I stood up from the chair and continued to look at the stage. Earlier, I had a plan to use the Gregor Mansion to hide.

Now that plan is gone. Since Lord Erwin was with me, he could take me out of here safely.

Meanwhile

The Magic Lords in the other rooms felt uneasy. One after another, they exited the guest rooms on the second floor.

Suddenly, they noticed someone walking up to the stage. Their expressions changed because they couldn’t see through the strength of that person.

At that moment, under the gaze of many, Erwin walked onto the stage. He went directly to the female staff member. The other staff beside her wanted to block him.

But he found he couldn’t move his body. A hint of horror appeared on his face. Erwin didn’t kill him; he directly took the transparent box.

There was the outer space item; the gray and silver rock was inside. He then collected the box into his storage bracelet.

It was witnessed by the people on the first floor. They were all dumbstruck and didn’t know what to do.

How could someone appear and rob the last auction item? And an outer space item at that! People were enraged. They forgot about the mysterious golden light.

“What are you doing?”

“Thief?”

“Give back the auction item!”

“Who are you?”

“Which independent city are you from?”

The people on the first floor started questioning him. The female staff member and her friend were petrified on the spot. They didn’t know what to do.

The Magic Lords and other guests in the second-floor rooms were also dumbfounded. Unlike the people on the first floor, they didn’t react.

Because their rational thoughts kicked in. None of them could see through the strength of the person. If they offended the wrong person, they would die.

Meanwhile

A bright smile appeared on my face when I saw him collecting the outer space item. All that remained was to get that item into my hands.

I doubt anyone here can stop Lord Erwin.

At that time, Erwin swept his gaze across everyone, from the first floor to the second floor. The wizards standing up from their seats and questioning him were all scared.

Their backs were drenched in cold sweat. One look was enough for them to shut down. They knew the person was not ordinary. They have to be careful.

If he wanted, he could have killed them. The first floor was filled with Level-8, Level-9, and Level-10 Supreme Wizards.

The Supreme Wizards were silent because they knew they couldn’t see through the person. They assumed the stranger was likely a Magic Lord.

If they dared to block him, they would die instantly. Now, they were waiting for the people on the second floor to react.
