Chapter 1599: Unexpected fight!

From MC’s Perspective:

There is no movement outside. I could see the airship and the flying vehicles.

I don’t know why the appearance of the airship and vehicles have erased my thoughts of entering Clover Heart City.

I don’t want to seek death. I already thought of leaving the place. From the Red Scroll Artifact, I could sense that old man Patrick was not faraway.

I will go back to the border. After making the decision, I have decided to wait for a few more days.

Days passed by,

The airship and the flying vehicles eventually left. But there are more wizards inside the crack. They could be sending more wizards to guard the surface.

By using the right opportunity, I appeared outside and started heading in the opposite direction. I didn’t even use the Raven Aircraft.

It didn’t take long for me to get away from the sphere of the mining area. Now, I have gotten closer to the sphere of the Great Bamboo City.

I came here by following the signal of the old man Patrick in the Red Scroll Artifact. He seems to be moving around this area. He is not staying in one spot.

A quick gleam appeared in my eyes. I wore the full face mask and started moving towards the location.

I saw a big black airship being chased by 2 other airships. When my gaze fell on the banner. My gaze flickered. The banner belongs to the Dark Faction.

I didn’t expect to come across Dark Faction’s people here. Then I used the system function to find out their strength.

They are in between level-8 and level-9 Wizards. The wizard group is headed by the Supreme Wizards. No one can sense my presence because of the Magic Lord.

Then I saw a fierce fight took place above the sky between the Dark Faction Supreme Wizards and the old man Patrick. The airships have come to a halt. The men on both sides have started fighting on the ground.

I wanted to join the fight. But the existence of the three Supreme Wizards makes me wary. I needed the right opportunity to attack them.

Swoosh!

Next, I took the mirror artifact outside. It’s a core eating artifact. I held the Artifact and rushed to the old man Patrick’s airship.

In the sky, three Supremes Wizards are besieging old man Patrick.

“Give me the treasure box,” a long nosed old man asked.

Hearing that old man Patrick sneered. He was worried earlier. But he actually sensed the presence of a young man right now.

He was worried that he would die along with his men. But it seems like there is hope.

Seeing that old man Patrick is not answering.

“It’s not easy to kill him. You go and search his cabin,” the long nosed old man ordered the burly Supreme Wizard standing beside him.

There is another old female Supreme Wizard. She is just stopping the old man Patrick from escaping.

Boom!

A terrific collision of magic spells happening on the ground. The wizards are spread over the ground. The number of Dark Faction’s Wizards are higher.

But they are not cunning and ruthless. They are easily getting killed at the hands of the bandit group wizards.

On the other hand, I have come to the airship. I spotted another Supreme Wizard descending from the sky. He is coming to the same airship as well.

He was worried about how to attack them. But the opportunity presents itself now. He found out that a burly man was looking at him as well.

He didn’t wait further. He entered one of the cabins.

The burly Supreme Wizard noticed that someone was carrying a mirror artifact and hid inside the cabin. His mouth curves into an arc.

He mistakenly thought that the treasure that they are looking for is the mirror artifact. He then darted out towards the masked person.

Meanwhile,

I started pouring the mana into the Artifact. The Artifact awakes from the slumber and consumes his mana rapidly.

A fine sweet bead appears on his forehead. If this mirror doesn’t activate now, then he would die from the hands of the Supreme Wizard.

Boom!

The room was blasted open by the burly man. The next second, his gaze fell on the masked man and the mirror Artifact.

Upon seeing the mirror his eyes flashes with greediness.

“Hand over the mirror,” the burly man said.

He doesn’t want to damage the mirror. Otherwise, he could have used a magic spell right now.

Hearing that my mouth curves into an arc. A brilliant idea comes to my mind.

“If you take one step further, I’ll destroy the Artifact,” I said to him.

Hearing that burly man’s eyes turned cold. He didn’t notice that the masked man was pouring mana into the mirror.

“If you want to live, give me the mirror. You can walk away safely. Otherwise, you will be facing two more Supreme Wizards,” the burly man threatened.

Hearing that my heart is racing faster. I’m just buying time for the mirror to activate.

The burly man’s eyes filled with doubts. He just tried to probe the masked man. But his prying was blocked. He couldn’t see through the masked man.

“Could he be the Supreme Wizard?” He thought.

The next second, a cold shiver went down his spine.

He completely believed it now. Because the bandit leader was all alone. He was facing three of them. Yet he remained calm.

He understood the reason right now.

“What a cunning man?”

“I didn’t expect a little bandit group to scheme against Dark Faction?” The burly man muttered.

On the other hand, I don’t know what he’s talking about. But my mana is exhausted right now.

Buzz!

The next second, a black streak of light shot from the mirror.

In a flash, it reaches the burly mana’s mana core. The burly mana was startled. His mana core was hit by the black light the next moment.

Aaaahh!

He let out a scream. The Black light completely enveloped the mana core. The mirror started sucking the energy.

The burly man’s sound reached outside. I felt nervous. Then I darted out towards him carrying the mirror.

I grabbed his shoulder and appeared inside the Gregor Mansion the next second.
