He moved around in midair before appearing in the sky above a particular location. That area was an open ground. There weren’t any trees growing on that plot.

The plot was normal for others, but he found it different. Howard released a bit of mana.

A huge force burst out from his body. The shockwave spread across the surroundings, including the ground.

When the pressure hit the ground, the normal ground began to change. In the blink of an eye, the surface started to alter.

The ground surface began to wiggle like a worm, as if some monster was sleeping beneath it.

Howard’s eyes narrowed. His gaze swept across the place.

The monster began to awaken. It stood up with a huge body towering above the ground. Howard looked at the monster over 20 feet in height.

He didn’t know whether it was appropriate to call it a monster. It seemed more like an artificial creature, a product of Puppet Magic, Transmutation Magic, and some other evil magic.

Even Howard found it difficult to guess its origin. He thought that the creature was very ancient.

The weirdly shaped creature acted on instinct. It sensed that an intruder had come and started moving its huge body to attack.

Howard’s eyes flickered. Instead of attacking the creature, he retreated backward. Once he created enough distance, he saw that the strange creature stopped moving.

He thought this huge creature was guarding something. More importantly, the fluctuations coming from its body were above level-10.

If he started to fight against the creature, their duel could attract unwanted attention. Howard decided to go back first to make adequate preparations.

He needed to have magic formations to trap this strange creature, or he should cover the entire area with magic formations so that their magical fluctuations wouldn’t be able to leak.

Howard then left the spot. On the way, he erased all of his magical traces. He didn’t want any second person to appear here.

After doing that, he stood far above the clouds in midair. He saw the giant creature return underground. The ground surface returned to normal as well.

A sigh escaped from Howard’s mouth. He then disappeared from the spot and started heading back. The trip to the Pindwood Forest had opened his eyes.

The danger hidden here could pose a threat to his life.

Just as he was about to leave the pinewood forest, he sensed something. The next second, he disappeared from the spot and appeared on the ground.

His gaze penetrated a certain location in the sky, where he saw a group of wizards approaching. Those wizards had strength between Magic Level-9 and Magic Level-10.

He had met that wizard at Tommy Anderson’s office, the same wizard who guided young Vincent to the Anderson Family Treasury.

A strange glint flashed in Howard’s eyes.

He suspected the Anderson Family had been secretly researching this place. The more he thought about it, the more it felt right.

No other wizard organization was close to the forbidden Pindwood Forest. Most importantly, the Black Ore was also found in the Anderson Family Treasury.
