Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

I’m watching their conversations in silence. I don’t know whether it has anything to do with the factions infighting. More like Charon Perry wants my life.

Just as I’m contemplating, I saw Head Howard and Elder Paul Lin stop their conversations.

“He has arrived,” Howard commented.

Paul Lin’s eyes narrowed. A middle-aged man walked into the room the next moment. Ned Powell’s gaze immediately fell on Head Howard.

He immediately felt his mana was restrained. The whole room was under the control of Head Howard. Even if he tried to do something with the mana, in the next second he would be suppressed by the Magic Lord’s mana.

“Head Howard, it’s nice to meet you after a long time,” Ned greeted him.

Howard smiled and said, “It’s good to see you, Ned. But your student has caused quite a problem. I wonder what your response is.”

Ned showed a neutral expression before sitting in the chair.

He then looked at Paul Lin before his gaze fell on the young kid who was his student’s target.

Paul Lin’s expression turned solemn.

“So, he is Vincent Carey. I heard the Special Mage Department got a new talent this year. He seems to be an amazing kid,” Ned said with a smile.

But in his heart, he was confused. He couldn’t see through the kid’s strength. It was astounding. He is a Supreme Wizard.

Yet Ned can’t see through a wizard kid.

He then turned toward Head Howard.

“I heard from my student. I guess it was not his intention to target this kid. I hope Head Howard will leave this matter aside,” Ned said in a solemn tone.

But he was quite scared inside. He was taking a risk to annoy Head Howard.

Paul Lin was dumbfounded. He didn’t expect a Supreme to speak like this.

On the other hand, my heart was in turmoil. The gaze of the middle-aged man was not normal. He had tried to sense me. Right now, I’m in the same room as a Level-9 Wizard, a Supreme Level-10 Wizard, and the Magic Lord.

Howard looked straight into Ned’s eyes.

“If I hear this again, you will face the consequences. Don’t think just because of the Aristocratic Faction that I’m not taking any action.”

“If you cross any line, you will be dealt with as a traitor,” Howard said.

“More importantly, this kid is being sponsored by the Mage Union. Even if I don’t take action, they will do something,” he added.

Ned Powell broke into a cold sweat. Head’s last word “traitor” made him shudder. He seemed to realize something.

It’s up to Head Howard whether he wants to deal with the Aristocratic Faction or not. He doesn’t know whether the Aristocratic Faction would succeed in their plan.

But at least he won’t win against the Magic Lord.

“Don’t worry, Head. I have told my student to enter seclusion,” Ned Powell said.

He turned around to leave. But suddenly, he stopped and thought of something. He then took out a luxurious pouch from the storage bracelet and gave it to Elder Paul.

“This pouch contains 10,000 High-Grade Mana Stones. Give it to the kid as compensation.” After saying that, Ned Powell left the place.

Paul Lin accepted the pouch. He then turned around and gave it to me. I accepted the pouch and scanned it with my system.

After hearing the confirmation, I placed it inside the storage bracelet.

“He was quite generous,” Howard chuckled.

“Head, what if his student attempts anything again?” Paul Lin expressed concern.

He then looked at Vincent Carey.

Hearing that, I thanked him. There is no reason for a Magic Lord to go there. That too, the Head of the Organization. But what shocked me more was that Head Howard is making preparations before going there.

Which shows how dangerous that place was.

Ned Powell is speaking to his student.

“Harvey, from now on, don’t do anything against that kid Vincent Carey. Head Howard has shown his stance. He won’t tolerate anything happening to that kid.”

To think Head Howard is ready to go against a Supreme for just nobody.

“Master, what’s his identity?” Harvey asked.

Hearing that, Ned Powell’s eyes narrowed. At that time, he didn’t think much of it. Now his student has reminded him.

He thinks about the Mage Union. If that kid truly has someone from the Mage Union keeping an eye on him, then he should be more careful.

“Harvey, stay away from the kid Charon. It doesn’t matter whatever compensation they give. Your life is more important,” Ned Powell said in a serious tone.

Harvey shuddered. He was already pissed off because Charon Perry was not answering his call. Now his master has made it clear that something is wrong with Charon Perry.

“Don’t worry, Master, I won’t interfere in outside matters,” Harvey replied in a solemn tone.
