After going through a couple of books, I found nothing wrong with the map. It’s the same location. Then I placed all the books back on the shelves before leaving the library.

After circling again, Harvey dismissed his spell. The night bat transformation disappeared, and he returned to his original form.

“F*ck!” Harvey cursed under his breath.

“Where is he?”

“Did he find out anything?”

“It’s impossible,” he said to himself without realizing someone could be hearing his conversation.

Harvey then called Charon Perry.

When the call was connected, a virtual screen appeared, showing Charon’s live image.

“Charon, that b*stard was not in his room,” Harvey said.

“Senior, it’s impossible! I knew his whereabouts. He should be in his room at this time,” Charon Perry’s voice sounded from the other end.

“I think someone else has taken him. It could be the elders,” Harvey said.

“I’m leaving right now. If the kid comes back, text me,” Harvey said before ending the call. Then he transformed into the night bat and left through the window.

Inside the Gregor Mansion, my expression turned solemn. I was wondering about the enemy. But I didn’t expect Charon Perry to use someone else as a knife to kill me.

“Who is he?”

“Charon Perry is addressing him as a senior brother. Charon is a final-year student. His strength is level-8. So he is someone who has higher strength or status than him,” I thought.
