After entering the lecture hall, I headed to my seat. My classmates’ gazes fell upon me.

“Where has he been?”

“Was he hiding from the other department wizards?”

“He is taking a lot of personal time.”

The classmates discussed with envy. No one questioned the absence of Vincent Carey, including the lecturers. Whereas they had to suffer if they missed a single class.

On the other hand, I sat in the chair. Then I responded to everyone’s gazes with a simple nod. Others snorted before stopping looking at me.

The lecturer arrived in the class. He swept his gaze across everyone before his gaze stopped on me. As I expected, he didn’t ask any questions. He started his class straightaway.

After a few hours, the four classes were over. I immediately left the class and heard straight towards the library. I arrived on the third floor.

The library was open. After entering, I asked the librarian about the notes and books regarding magical ores.

The librarian raised her head to see the student. She recognized Vincent Carey. Without speaking much, she started searching the database.

“There is a section in the left corner. You can find books on magical resources,” she said.

Hearing that, I thanked her before walking towards the section. The bookshelves were filled with books. All of them were about magical resources. But they were from different authors and years.

I picked a couple of books before taking them with me to a suitable place to sit down and read. There weren’t many people here, so I quickly found a place and then sat down to read.

I opened the first book. The cover itself showed it was very old. But I could identify the written language, so I began reading it.

If I wanted, I could have done something to break the black ore. But I didn’t want to do that. I felt there was a bigger chance hidden inside.

If I carelessly broke it, it could mean I lost the chance. After pushing down these distracting thoughts, I began reading.

Inside the Bloodline Beast Department, Charon Perry received a message. After reading the message, his mouth curved into an arc. He had paid someone to take care of Vincent Carey.

That person had gone to check on Vincent Carey last night. He found him sleeping peacefully in his room. Charon didn’t know why that person didn’t take action last night.

He thought that maybe that person wanted to make sure there weren’t hidden dangers. This message had given him such good news.

Soon, nobody would disappear. He would then use someone from the Special Mage Department according to his wishes.

Charon’s eyes flashed with an evil glint. The plan had moved forward. Now, he had to wait for the result.

Head Stella was in her office. She learned what happened with the Anderson Family from Head Howard. The Head of the Anderson Family had agreed to resolve the issue.

They both could do business in their territories without fear of being attacked. Not only that, she learned the content of the negotiation.

She was surprised that Head Howard used negotiation to help Vincent Carey. The True Elements Society didn’t have Gravity Magic resources, but they could help find it.

This time, Head Howard had truly paid attention to Vincent Carey’s situation. Stella sighed inwardly. She thought of a lot of things happening, especially after the kid’s joining.

Now that the outside threat was resolved, she was hoping that Head Howard would do the same regarding the internal problems. The Aristocratic Factions were staying low-key, hiding their claws.

After spending four hours in the library, I was able to gather some information about magical resources, especially the resources related to the ores.

Mostly, ores are related to mana veins. Most of them are common natural elements found everywhere. But mine is different. It’s hard to think about the black ore’s source.

If its location had something to do with Gravity Magic, then the place would have already been popular. For example, Meteor Country.

Their land was changed because of external sources. But it didn’t stop them from learning magic.

After going through a couple of books, I could confirm that there was something else inside the black ore. The black ore itself was not related to Gravity Magic.

The conclusion brought a smile to my face. I felt good to find some answers in the library. Then I stood up and started to put these books back on their shelves.

About a few minutes later,

I stepped out of the library and went to the second-floor mana chamber. The Mana Chamber is the perfect place to check the black ore.

When I got there, I used the points to enter. I had yet to spend any points after completing the mission. This time I was ready to spend it all.

Creak!

The door opened. I walked inside the mana chamber. The door behind me shut automatically. Then I walked up to the console to activate it.

Buzz!

The mana chamber started. Rich pure mana began coming out from the inlet. I waited for a few seconds and then took out the black ore and held it in my hand.

Buzz!

The black ore in my palm trembled. It started absorbing the gravity mana particles from the rich pure mana filling the chamber.

“Why do I feel like something is moving inside the black ore?” I muttered.
