Chapter 1215 Checking Treasury
From MC’s Perspective:
“Since you have agreed to ignore it, then what’s your condition?” Tommy Anderson asked.
He knew that no one agrees without thinking about getting something in return.
Head Howard’s smile widened. He liked smart people.
“I want to take a look at your treasury list,” Howard said.
Tommy’s smile disappeared. The worst thing had happened. He knew it would be the case. Without paying anything, you can’t expect the problem to resolve.
Especially since one of the True Elements Society Wizards was killed here.
On the other hand, my heart started racing. I didn’t expect the negotiations to yield benefits.
“No wonder he was smiling earlier,” I thought.
“What do you want?”
“You can ask specifically. It’s impossible to show our treasury list,” Tommy said.
He was not stupid enough to show the list. Who knows? If the person starts demanding more after seeing the list?
Howard’s eyes flickered. As expected, the Anderson Family Head was not as foolish as he thought. His expression turned serious next.
“You see, I brought him for this exact reason.”
“I want anything related to Gravity Magic,” Howard said.
Hearing that, my heart was set off in a storm. I looked at Head Howard in disbelief. He had promised me. But to think he would request it from the Anderson Family Head directly.
I didn’t know what to say, but expectations appeared in my heart.
Tommy’s eyes flashed with a glimmer.
“Gravity Magic,” he uttered.
He knew it was one of the rare elemental magics, classified as Sub-Taboo Grade by the Mage Union. Not many with good affinity could be seen.
The kid in front of him was a member of the Special Mage Department. It showed that the talent of the kid was superb; he couldn’t even gauge his Magic Level.
He suspected it had something to do with Head Howard, but it didn’t concern him. Right now, if he wanted to solve the problem, it was better to give him Gravity Magic resources.
Otherwise, Head Howard might demand expensive resources. The kid didn’t seem to be a level-8 or level-9 Wizard. If he didn’t have Gravity Magic resources in their treasury.
Then he didn’t know what else to do. Suppressing his doubts, he sent a message to the Elder who was in charge of the Treasury. He told him to bring anything related to Gravity Elemental Magic.
The Elder was surprised, but he didn’t know such magic resources existed. Because their family had a long heritage, their Family Treasury might contain Gravity Element resources.
Since none of their family descendants had awakened such magic in the past, they didn’t know for sure.
“I have asked people to check. Let’s wait for a few minutes,” Tommy said.
“Okay,” Howard replied.
There was a reason why he demanded the resources from them. First, he was impressed by Vincent Carey. Not only was the kid a Sub-Taboo Gravity Wizard backed by the Magic Union, but he also had a wide variety of skills.
He planned to send him on difficult missions in the future. So for that, he had to start showing goodwill from now onwards.
He hoped that the Anderson Family had Gravity Element resources. Otherwise, he would have to look for them separately.
Meanwhile,
Cory Anderson was in her room taking a rest. She wanted to go out, but her father forbade her to do so until things got better. Her father worried that the kidnapping situation might happen again.
Unless he resolved the feud with the True Elements Society, she had to stay there.
“It’s so frustrating,” she muttered to herself.
If she hadn’t gone to investigate that place, things wouldn’t have happened.
Knock!
She heard a knocking sound at the door.
“Come in,” she said.
Creak!
The next second, the old butler walked in.
“Miss, the Family Head is meeting with a guest, so he will come after the meeting ends,” the old man said.
“Guest?”
“Who could have come at this tense time?” she asked herself.
The old butler didn’t explain much, but he left the room.
On the other hand, the Elder had entered the treasury. After entering, he opened the treasure list to search.
All the expensive and unknown items were stored in their treasury. Most of them were collected by former Family Heads during their time.
They were obtained from secret ruins and dangerous zones. There were looted items collected here as well. From time to time, they would purchase good items if they came to the market.
The Elder’s eyes scanned the list, but the result was empty. There was nothing recorded in the list under the names of Gravity Element or Magic.
A frown appeared on the Elder’s face. He recalled the Family Head’s urgently filled voice, which meant he wanted that specific item badly.
“The recorded list doesn’t have the name. Maybe we can find it in the unknown category items,” the Elder thought.
Then he informed the Anderson Family Head, because no one could sense the Gravity Magic from the unknown items.

Tommy learned that unknown category items might have something related to Gravity Magic. His eyes flashed with hesitation.
Apart from Gravity Mages, no one could sense the Gravity Mana coming from the items. Most of them were age-old and worn out. It’s difficult to detect even the tiniest amount of magical power.
“What happened?” Howard asked.
“We don’t have it in our treasury…” Tommy said.
“What?”
“Then you should give me supreme magic resources,” Howard said.
Tommy’s eyes shrank.
“Wait, let me finish my words. We have unknown category items as well. Some of them are antiques, and it’s hard to detect Gravity Mana,” he said.
“Then send this kid,” Howard suggested.
“This?” Tommy hesitated.
Now, he understood why he brought the kid here. It was pre-planned. He really couldn’t avoid him.
“Alright, someone come inside,” he said.
Creak!
The next second, a high-level wizard stepped inside the room.
“Lord,” the middle-aged man said.
“Take this kid to our Treasury Elder,” Tommy ordered.
“Yes, my lord,” the middle-aged man obeyed.
“Vincent, go and see for yourself,” Howard said.
