The Arrival of the Sword Immortal

Leon descended.

Then, with a light step, he landed directly on the Supreme Demon Sword.

His foot touched the tip of the ancient blade.

The sword immediately hung straight downward beneath him.

Leon stood there with his hands behind his back.

His posture was relaxed.

Elegant.

Untouched by the chaos below.

He looked like an immortal who had descended into the mortal world simply because he had grown bored of watching from afar.

His gaze swept across the battlefield.

There was a faint smile at the corner of his lips.

"Haha, there’s still time..."

His chuckle was quiet.

Almost playful.

He looked at the scene before him casually, as though the terrifying battle that had nearly destroyed the surrounding land was nothing more than a minor disturbance.

It had to be said that the Sky Sovereign Golden Eagle Scared agile Scripture was incredibly fast.

Leon had calculated the distance before leaving.

From such a distant location, even if he continuously used spatial teleportation, he would have needed at least half a day to arrive.

But after using the Sky Sovereign Golden Eagle Scared agile Scripture, that impossible distance had been reduced to only two hours.

Leon glanced down at the battlefield.

A satisfied smile appeared on his face.

The fastest man in history was none other than me.

He had arrived.

And, more importantly, he had arrived before the worst could happen.

As Leon entered the battlefield, everyone was shocked.

"Heavens, it’s really Guardian Elder Leon."

The exclamation came from somewhere among the Celestis Academy students.

The words immediately spread through the crowd.

Everyone was stunned.

Just moments ago, they had still been desperately trying to determine who owned the mysterious sword.

They had searched the sky.

They had searched the mountains.

They had searched every direction they could think of.

And now—

The owner had arrived himself.

It was really Leon.

The same Leon who had already possessed an immortal sword.

The same Leon whose reputation had spread throughout the cultivation world.

The same man whose existence had already been enough to make countless powerful figures wary.

"How is that possible?"

Another elder stared upward.

"Doesn’t he already have an immortal sword?"

His voice was filled with disbelief.

Everyone knew that the First Mist Immortal Sword in Leon’s possession was already terrifying.

Its sword force alone had shocked countless cultivators.

Yet now another sword had appeared.

And this sword had killed the Gluttony wolf with a single strike.

The crowd looked at Leon.

Then they looked at the Supreme Demon Sword beneath his feet.

Then back at Leon.

Nobody knew what to say.

What kind of monster was this man?

One immortal sword was already enough to make someone famous throughout the world.

But Leon seemed to possess another.

Shera was even more shocked.

Shera’s black eyes widened as he stared at Leon.

For a moment, he actually felt a little glad.

He remembered how things had once been between himself and Leon.

If he had continued opposing him...

Shera swallowed.

A chill ran down his spine.

He couldn’t help but imagine the consequences.

"Phew... F*ck, this kid is not human."

The words escaped him before he could stop himself.

There was no shame in admitting it anymore.

Normal people did not move like this.

Normal people did not possess this kind of terrifying sword.

And normal people certainly did not arrive in the middle of a battle by casually standing on an ancient sword that had just killed a powerful Guardian Beast.

Above the battlefield, Leon looked around.

His expression remained calm.

Then he raised one hand.

He snapped his fingers.

Snap!

The space around the two students suddenly distorted.

Before they could even react, their figures vanished.

In the next instant, they appeared safely outside the battlefield.

Leon turned around and looked at them.

"Go down. Stay by your Guardian Elder’s side and don’t run around."

The two students were still pale.

Their bodies had not even recovered from the shock.

"Okay."

They nodded repeatedly.

Their voices were quiet.

They were still terrified by Leon’s speed.

Too fast.

They couldn’t see anything clearly.

One moment they had been standing there.

The next—

Whoosh!

They had already been moved away.

There had been no warning.

No violent spatial fluctuation.

No opportunity to react.

They had simply vanished and appeared somewhere else.

They had never experienced such speed before.

It was almost frighteningly gentle.

There was no sensation of being dragged through space.

Nothing.

One breath.

One blink.

And it was over.

Was this their Teacher’s current speed?

That was quick.

The two students exchanged a glance before hurrying toward the Celestis Academy’s side.

When they finally returned to the Celestis Academy’s team, Leon’s attention shifted.

His purple eyes settled on Gareth.

The atmosphere changed again.

Gareth’s entire body stiffened.

He could feel Leon’s gaze even from a distance.

It was not particularly aggressive.

That was what made it even more frightening.

There was no need for hostility.

No need for threats.

Leon simply looked at him.

Yet Gareth felt as if an invisible blade had already been placed against his throat.

His face became pale.

His fingers trembled slightly.

The fear that had already taken root in his heart deepened.

He had once felt this kind of pressure before.

A long time ago.

Back when he had faced Cultivator Zeon.

That overwhelming feeling of being dominated by an existence far beyond himself.

Now—

He was experiencing it again.

Gareth forced himself to breathe.

His lips parted.

"May I ask who you are?"

His voice was cautious.

Almost respectful.

He looked at Leon as if afraid that even the slightest mistake in his words might bring another sword strike.

Leon slowly raised his eyes.

His expression remained indifferent.

Then he answered calmly.

"Celestis Acedmy, Amethyst Summit Division, Cultivator Zeon’s disciple, Leon..."
