Gorgeous Female Tenants

Chapter 694: A Dog Can’t Change Its Habit of Eating Poop

Before long, Xu Xiangbei’s card had another 2 million added to it, and Meng Guangtian obediently kowtowed to him a few times as a token of apology, sending them out of the zoo like a master.

"Let’s grab a meal and then go sing; how about it? We have plenty of time today!" Xu Xiangbei cheerfully hummed as he drove with the Gu Family Sisters and Xiao Qiulian and her daughter. He had earned a few million today — such businesses are really lucrative, no wonder they say the wealthiest in the world are bandits; he was absolutely a top-notch bandit.

"Sure! Where to eat?" Xiao Ailing perked up at the mention of food; she was feeling a bit hungry.

"Let’s go to Emperor’s Pavilion, consider it supporting my business. Their ingredients are all-natural; it’ll be a comfortable meal!" Xu Xiangbei laughed heartily and drove towards Emperor’s Pavilion.

The group arrived at Emperor’s Pavilion, indulging in a feast. Amidst their extravagance, there were plenty of flies, most attracted by the beauty of the Gu Family Sisters, introducing themselves only to be ruthlessly interrupted or directly dismissed by Xu Xiangbei. After about an hour, they finished their meal, and the sky had turned dark.

"Weren’t we going to sing? Where to?" Having barely visited KTVs since her father abandoned her and her mother, plunging their life into poverty where even clothing was shabby, Xiao Ailing asked.

"Jinshang KTV, the fanciest in Jiangcheng. I’m acquainted with its manager—easy to talk to!" Xu Xiangbei ground his teeth in excitement at the thought of Xu Wanqing’s graceful figure but kept his composure with the Gu Family Sisters by his side.

"You guys go ahead; I have matters at the company." As the president of Xiangyi Group, Gu Xiangyi always wore a cold demeanor, barely visiting such places unless discussing contracts with clients.

"It’s a rare chance to relax; no need to kill the mood," Xu Xiangbei expressed helplessness.

"Exactly, sister, everyone’s here to have fun. I might be heading back to Earth Sea with Xu Xiangbei in a few days, leaving no time to meet. Since we’re out to enjoy, we should let loose and relax thoroughly!" Gu Xinyan also tried to persuade her.

"Alright!" Gu Xiangyi relented, not wanting to dampen everyone’s spirits.

"Shhh."

Xu Xiangbei whistled happily, quickly driving them as though a wild horse or a white streak of lightning weaving through the highway towards Jinshang KTV at a speed of 120 km/h, overtaking cars that frightened Xiao Ailing, who clutched her little hands, pleading Xu Xiangbei to slow down. Meanwhile, the Gu Family Sisters remained calm, but beside them, Gu Xiangyi kept pinching Xu Xiangbei’s calf with her jade-like hand, clearly asking him to slow down.

"In life, be triumphant and joyous; don’t let golden cups face the moon emptily!" Xu Xiangbei jovially recited a poem.

"Pompous show-off, going overboard!" Gu Xiangyi blushed and cursed at his antics.

"Is your injury alright? Shouldn’t you visit the hospital, just to be safe?" Despite the playful banter, Gu Xiangyi showed genuine concern for him. Xu Xiangbei had fought with a tiger and got scratched earlier, both arms bleeding, hastily treated and changed clothes, which left her worried.

"It’s no big deal. Besides, I’m a doctor myself; I cure all sorts of ailments, fully aware of my condition, right?" Xu Xiangbei felt his heart sweeten like honey seeing Gu Xiangyi’s concern and anxious expression.

...

About half an hour later, they arrived at Jinshang KTV, immediately booking a large room decked luxuriously with colorful lights controlled to scatter everywhere, creating a dreamy ambiance. The room was extremely clean with a fragrant scent. Its sofa was ultra-soft, making one feel enveloped upon sitting. In the center was a table with assorted foods and drinks, including an ordering machine to choose from, guaranteeing delivery within a minute upon command.

Four to five microphones and two speakers, mounted to the ceiling, adorned the uniquely elegant setup, even exuding a hint of scholarly vibe.

"I’ll pick some great drinks while you choose your songs, sing whatever you like, and take the chance to unwind!" Xu Xiangbei handed everyone a microphone, and despite Gu Xiangyi’s refusal, he stubbornly forced it into her hands.

Xu Xiangbei ordered delectable fruits—lychee, grapes, pineapple, strawberries—of top quality sourced directly from a Jiangcheng fruit industry base, promising almost pure natural produce without much pollution, thus priced exorbitantly. He even opted for five bottles of ’82 Lafite, exceptionally costly, given ’82’s rarity—each costing several tens of thousands. Had he not hit the money jackpot today, he wouldn’t have dared to spend so lavishly.

In mere minutes, a woman brought in the ordered fruits and drinks, expertly using a delivery cart akin to those in hotels. One section displayed the fruits, the upper section held the wines.

The woman’s stature wasn’t particularly high, about 1.72 meters, yet amidst women, she was relatively tall, donned in professional attire complete with a blue cap with hair neatly tucked under it. Her shoes weren’t high heels either but specially crafted, both stylish and suitable for movement. Flawless, jade-like long legs, coupled with a slim waist and proud bust, elevated her to an almost devilish body level. Her naturally graceful face didn’t wear heavy makeup, resembling an angel with beauty beyond comparison, yet subtly seductive.

Her name was Tang Xinyi, a Jiangcheng University student who worked a 2-3 hour night shift at Jinshang KTV for extra income, over 10,000 yuan a month. Her work entry here relied upon her demeanor and looks.

Nonetheless, her situation hadn’t been favorable these months. Tang Xinyi’s family was average class; both parents were salaried, not impoverished. Yet, since last month, her father’s liver cancer diagnosis led to their financial downfall. Her father, having early-stage liver cancer with hopeful recovery potential, couldn’t work and lay in hospital receiving treatment, while her mother quit her job to care for him, becoming jobless, relying on savings and minimal so-called relatives’ aid for medical expenses.

This was merely a drop in the bucket. Tang Xinyi’s job covered her living expenses easily, but thinking of her father’s illness pained her with the need for substantial money. Thus, besides her regular duties, she sold alcohol to patrons—technically as an entertainer; however, she maintained boundaries, needing money yet refusing to sell herself. Facing predatory gazes, cautiously preserving herself meant inevitable minimal trampling, making her life quite tough.

"Sir, here’s the drink you ordered!" Tang Xinyi announced upon entering, noticing the many stunning women, her eyes lit up, involuntarily comparing herself to the Gu Family Sisters, discovering herself slightly falling short.

"Young lady, could you tell me your name?" Xu Xiangbei seemed rooted upon seeing her, wearing an amicable smile akin to being a lost brother.

"Tang Xinyi!" She replied, aware of Xu Xiangbei’s overly friendly gaze, cautiously defensive—she had encountered such gazes often before, compelled to respond professionally.

"Are you still in school?" Xu Xiangbei, a natural conversationalist, started family chats while holding her hand, forcing Tang Xinyi to struggle briefly before freeing herself, her cheeks slightly flushed.

"Sir, if there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave." Like an injured fawn, Tang Xinyi dashed out of the room.

"You pervert! Always teasing others!" Gu Xiangyi, having observed it all, cursed angrily, gnashing her teeth.

"The wolf feasts from afar, while the dog scavenges; you’ll never change this rogue nature!" Gu Xinyan said, disappointed.

"I was joking around; they say bad boys are endearing, right? Everyone appreciates beauty!" Xu Xiangbei shrugged, nonchalant about his tendency to verbally and physically flirt with pretty women yet refraining from crossing further lines—unless one willingly embraced him, which he’d more than welcome.
