Arthur and his team were moving toward the ocean.

Arthur was calculating his next steps. The merfolk clan was extremely powerful even at this moment, containing thousands of people at Level 50 or above. And they probably did not have access to the game either, which meant they had developed their own cultivation system.

While he was thinking, the cars arrived at the airport, and the thirteen of them boarded their private plane. Their destination was the ocean where the merfolk had been discovered, deep within the trench.

"Arthur, do we need to prepare anything before meeting them?" Noah asked inside the plane.

"Not particularly. We are just going to meet them. There might be an exchange of blows to let them know that we are worthy of the meeting. I want to meet their king, who is currently as powerful as me, or probably even stronger if they possess any secret weapons or something similar," Arthur said solemnly.

In his previous life, the leader of the merfolk had been one of the greatest terrors humanity had faced. Even Varian had been forced to treat him with extreme caution.

By the time Arthur died in his previous life, humanity feared seven major entities during the later stages of the apocalypse. The leader of the merfolk was one of them, alongside a Kaiju named Gidorah, the Demon King of the North, a White Tiger, and several other terrifying beings.

Arthur took a deep breath.

"I need to kill that son of a bitch and make him my Shadow General. He is at least comparable to a Mythical-level boss at Level 15 right now, or maybe even Level 20," Arthur said with a smile.

This had actually been his plan all along. He needed to arrange a meeting with the merfolk leader and kill him before he could become a massive threat to humanity in the future.

"Everyone, be prepared for a fight. You will have to defeat them yourselves. I am transferring 10 million Divine Gold to each of you. Use that money to level up through the Divine Foundation as much as possible," Arthur said calmly.

The twelve of them, including Sebas, swallowed hard. They knew Arthur was rich, filthy rich, but 100 million Divine Gold was an entirely different concept. They could hardly comprehend how much wealth that represented.

"Umm, did you just say 100 million Divine Gold?" Irin could not help but ask.

"Yeah. Do not waste time. Enter the game and level up there. After that, fight monsters to master your newly acquired power. I want all of you to show them a heavenly battle. Remember, I will not interfere, so do not force me to step in. That would ruin my plan," Arthur warned them in a serious tone.

"Okay," everyone nodded absentmindedly.

[Ding! You have received 13 million Divine Gold from Player Dark Lord.]

[Ding! You have received 13 million Divine Gold from Player Dark Lord.]

The notifications continued appearing one after another. Everyone was still in a daze as they stared at the messages. Arthur had actually sent them 13 million each, which meant he had just distributed 156 million Divine Gold in total.

"Pinch me," Laura suddenly said.

"Ouch! Why did you do that?" she immediately cried out as Irin pinched her cheek violently.

"Did you not just ask me to?" Irin smirked.

"You are so mean," Laura pouted.

"Listen carefully. Once you reach Level 11, your Spirit attribute will be unlocked. Victor and Cris, put 80% of your total attributes into Spirit. This will be the most important attribute for both of you. Cris, put the remaining points into Mana, while Victor puts his remaining points into Agility," Arthur explained.

"As for the others, increase the stats you need most. Mages should increase their Mana, while warriors should focus on Strength and Agility. With this amount of Divine Gold, all of you should be able to reach Level 25. With the Divine Foundation, that should be enough to fight the elite soldiers of the merfolk," Arthur continued.

"Enter the game now."

Everyone nodded solemnly. They knew Arthur was investing heavily in them because he wanted them to become useful enough to stand beside him in the future.

"Do not worry, brother. We will not let you down," Cris said in a resolute tone.

Everyone immediately closed their eyes. Ten seconds later, their consciousness entered the game.

They all appeared on the ninth floor of Omega Shelter, where Victor was already waiting for them.

"Sit down and start leveling up. Do not allocate any attributes yet. Reach Level 20 and stop. You will have to break through to the Second Realm of cultivation before leveling up to Level 21," Arthur instructed everyone.

"Alright," everyone nodded before sitting down.

Arthur had decided to make them reach Level 60 first so they could actually become useful to him. Until then, he would not level himself up or strengthen his Shadow Army either.

He would need an enormous amount of money to do so anyway. His subordinates would be far more useful later if they possessed overwhelming strength, rather than wasting resources on them before they were ready.

Soon, everyone began leveling up crazily.

[Ding! You have leveled up to Level 11 using 50,000 Divine Gold. You have gained 2,500 attribute points.]

[Ding! Your Spirit attribute has been unlocked.]

The notifications continued appearing as their levels climbed rapidly.

Within ten minutes, everyone reached Level 20 and opened their eyes. Their eyes were glowing brightly with immense excitement.

The sheer number of attribute points they had gained was so absurd that they could hardly believe it. Each of them had gained a staggering 25,000 attribute points in just ten levels.

"We have all reached Level 20," Noah said.

"Good. Now it is time to break through to the Second Realm. But before that, allocate your attributes according to this plan," Arthur said.

He handed them a piece of paper containing detailed instructions for how many attribute points each person should allocate to every individual attribute.

Everyone nodded and began distributing their points according to the plan.

"Done."

Arthur nodded before waving his hand. The next moment, the domain appeared once again, covering the surrounding area.

A cultivation technique slowly materialized in the air. This was the second part of the technique.

Arthur then gave each of them several Boss Cores, which they would use to assist their breakthrough.

"Go ahead and break through now."

Arthur looked at them as they all entered a state of deep comprehension.

Thirty minutes later, a powerful aura suddenly erupted from each of their bodies. One after another, they successfully broke through to the Second Realm.

Everyone opened their eyes, their expressions filled with surprise as they sensed the changes within their bodies. The breakthrough had clearly exceeded their expectations.

"Brother, all of our attributes have multiplied by three times," Cris said, his eyes gleaming with excitement. Their combined attributes had now surpassed 75,000, giving them an enormous increase in overall combat power.

"Good. Now go outside and familiarize yourselves with your new powers. I have something to take care of," Arthur said calmly.

After saying that, Arthur’s figure vanished from the ninth floor of the Omega Shelter.

He now wanted to purchase some high-grade Epic items from the System Shop. However, there was a restriction on purchasing high-grade Epic items.

To obtain them, a player had to complete a specific task associated with each individual item. The stronger the item, the more difficult its corresponding task would be.

As for Mythical-grade items, they were completely unavailable to him for the time being. Players were not allowed to purchase Mythical-grade items until they reached Level 60 and entered the corresponding domain.
