Global Survival: I Got the D-Rank Personnel Simulator
Chapter 878: An Artwork Approaching Perfection
- An Artwork Approaching Perfection
The Phantom deity fell silent and began moving rapidly through the Spiral Maze. It did not trust the information Lin Ye had provided, but whether Lin Ye was lying or not, it had to respond seriously.
Alien Lin Ye simply followed quietly behind the Phantom deity, doing nothing superfluous.
After this period of growth, the Spiral Maze had evolved to a point where even he could hardly comprehend it. If the Phantom deity could escape before losing consciousness, there was nothing he could do about it.
Unfortunately, the Phantom deity was not as powerful as Lin Ye had imagined. It was like a reckless brute with nothing but raw strength, knowing only how to charge blindly through the Spiral Maze.
After some time, alien Lin Ye grew bored and chose to kill himself. He could not even be bothered to waste another word on the Phantom deity.

[Remaining Simulation Attempts: 8]
By the time Lin Ye had acquired a large number of split bodies, this simulation mission had already come to an end.
The reason he chose to commit suicide was that Natalie had already been reduced to meat chunks, and Lin Ye decided to give her a chance to live.
While the Phantom deity was still wandering aimlessly through the Spiral Maze, Lin Ye had already used his split bodies to thoroughly explore the several Plane spaces that required different conditions to enter."Please lend me your iron shard."
Lin Ye looked at the burly man and spoke.
"How did you know..."
The burly man only glanced at Lin Ye before taking out the iron shard and handing it over.
He was an elite D-Class personnel who had survived multiple reconnaissance missions and knew very well when to back down.
"Thanks."
Lin Ye inserted the iron shard into his left wrist, then smoothly twisted it in a full circle, severing his left hand.
The left hand quickly split into a miniature Lin Ye, and Lin Ye's left hand grew back, though his body size had shrunk slightly.
"All of you follow him. He should be able to save your lives."
The prison transport vehicle began to slow down. Lin Ye pushed open the door, used a roll to absorb the impact, and expertly rushed toward the factory across the road.
He left behind only three D-Class personnel staring at the miniature Lin Ye.
Split bodies can share information with each other. To be precise, all split bodies are Lin Ye, just situated in different locations, doing different things.
In the previous simulation, Lin Ye had already used his split bodies to collect the necessary information and formulated a complete action plan. Now all that remained was to execute it.
The main Lin Ye would handle the Phantom deity, while the miniature Lin Ye would follow the prison transport vehicle.
Even if he split off one left hand, the Phantom deity still could not escape from the Spiral Maze.
The condition to enter the battlefield Plane was surviving an explosion. The miniature Lin Ye could graze the edge of the blast, after which he would simply repeat the same operations from the first simulation.
However, this time, the rune deep pit ritual was no longer directed at the Phantom deity.
Alien Lin Ye would descend to the battlefield Plane through the ritual, absorb spiritual energy, and resolve all the problems.
In the previous simulation, he had already located the anomalous item that triggered the abnormal incident. However, to enter the organization's base, he needed to seize the right timing and fulfill a certain condition.
As time passed, more and more Planes would be dragged into the abnormal incident. The longer he delayed, the harder it would become to enter the organization's base.
But Lin Ye had already probed out all the necessary information using his split bodies. None of these were problems.
The plan proceeded smoothly. As the ritual activated, alien Lin Ye successfully descended onto the battlefield Plane.
"Hello."
Alien Lin Ye greeted Natalie, who had already joined the Evolution Network.
"Hello. He said you could help me."
Natalie spoke somewhat timidly.
"I can clear out the enemies on the battlefield for you. As for the remaining enemies, you'll have to handle those yourself."
Lin Ye expanded the Parasitism Network, and a massive swarm of parasitic organisms poured out from the rune deep pit.
Before long, the Parasitism Network had covered the entire battlefield. The armies could not mount any effective resistance whatsoever.
Lin Ye used materials from the battlefield to construct a simple portal. He had studied this area of knowledge before.
This was the current condition for entering the organization's base.
The other side of the portal was the organization's base, which was also where the abnormal incident had originated.
"I have to go now. In half an hour, this battlefield will return to your Plane. I hope you'll be ready."
Lin Ye smiled and bid Natalie farewell.
"Thank you so much for your guidance. May I ask your name?"
Natalie asked the same question she had asked in the previous simulation.
"My name is Lin Ye."
Lin Ye gave the same answer as before, then stepped through the portal and entered the organization's base.
The interior of the organization's base was extremely dangerous. Collapsed spatial structures were everywhere. One wrong step could teleport him to a highly dangerous location, or simply tear him apart with spatial fluctuations.
Fortunately, Lin Ye had scouted the path with his split bodies before. At the cost of only a few dozen split bodies, he found a relatively safe route.
It took Lin Ye twenty minutes to reach the deepest room in the organization's base.
This was a special room used to store research projects. Inside the room, an irregular object radiating spatial fluctuations hovered in mid-air.
This irregular object was the research project that had triggered the abnormal incident. Lin Ye used the power of the Falling Rule Fragment to alter the irregular object's position. The irregular object fell to the ground and stopped emitting spatial fluctuations.
All spaces automatically returned to their original Planes, and Lin Ye was brought back to the bombed city along with the organization's base.
The explosion came too fast. Lin Ye had no way to stop it.
But before the ritual was conducted, those split bodies had already saved a portion of the survivors.
Before long, several combat squads from the organization entered the city and took over the organization's base.

[Obtained Title: The Cage That Imprisoned a Deity]
Lin Ye pushed aside the pets lying on top of him and climbed out of bed.
Those creatures seemed to know he would not wake up during simulations, so they all loved to squeeze in next to him at these times.
Lin Ye did not mind sleeping together with these pets. It was just that the bed was a little small.
Fortunately, the bed in the Shelter was sturdy enough. Otherwise, it would have collapsed under the weight long ago.
Lin Ye walked to the center of the bedroom and began examining the loot he had obtained from this simulation.
The first item was a cube that was continuously squirming and writhing.
[Spiral Maze of Flesh and Spirit]
[This is a Spiral Maze formed from a mixture of flesh and spirit. The builder incorporated vast amounts of complex knowledge. It is said that a deity is imprisoned within.]
[Note: This is an artwork approaching perfection]
"I can actually pull this thing from the lottery?"
Lin Ye picked up the cube with some surprise.
