Suppressing his inner scorn, Li Hua announced formally, "Everyone, Lord Lin Yu has sent his man over. I expect he’ll be here any moment."

"That’s wonderful! With Lord Lin’s involvement, our defense here is practically guaranteed."

"Too bad the border is all plains. There’s no terrain to use for defense, or this would be even easier."

"This time, my tanks will be at the front, so Lord Lin’s Mage Corps can unleash their full power without any worries."

Hearing Li Hua’s announcement, the lords launched into a "heated" discussion.

"My apologies, Sir! I got lost in Lord Lin’s territory..." Even the messenger seemed at a loss for words as he recounted the tale.

"Tch, Lord Li, your messenger isn’t very capable, is he? Getting lost just delivering a message!"

The other lords, who had gathered around, burst into mocking laughter.

Li Hua paid them no mind, his interest genuinely piqued by how his messenger had managed to get lost.

’This messenger was the fastest Sword Immortal in my territory, not someone I chose at random. Even if the man took a wrong turn, he should have been able to find his destination simply by zipping around a bit more. For him to actually get lost...’

"What happened? How could you possibly have gotten lost?"

The lords were unconvinced. Judging from his army’s performance on the battlefield during the last stage, Lin Yu was certainly stronger than them, but not by enough to completely steamroll them.

"Sir, I..." Seeing that the gossiping lords didn’t believe him and were trying to undermine their lord’s trust in him, the messenger grew anxious and pulled out a camera.

But then he saw his lord glare at him. His hand, holding the camera, froze, and he began to stuff it back inside his clothes.

"Wait, what’s that you have? A camera?"

One of the lords, quick on the uptake, grabbed the messenger’s arm, trying to pull his hand free.

But the messenger was a Legendary Tier Sword Immortal; there was no way this lord could overpower him. If the Sword Immortal weren’t afraid of injuring the man, a single shrug would have been enough to rip the lord’s arm from its socket.

"Heh! Still not letting go, are you? I want to see for myself just how you got ’lost’ and made us all wait so long."

After tugging a few more times to no avail, the lord looked to Li Hua, demanding he say something. He didn’t release his grip on the messenger’s arm, preventing him from hiding the camera.

Seeing the man’s stubborn glare, Li Hua sighed in resignation and signaled for the messenger to hand over the camera. ’I can’t believe there’s such a blockhead in this group,’ he thought. ’How did I not notice how impulsive he was before?’

The lord snatched the camera, immediately removed the memory card, and then pulled out a projector.

It seemed he wasn’t content to watch it alone; he wanted to project it for all the other lords to see. What a considerate fellow!

Li Hua (PM): "Lin Yu, let me apologize in advance."

Lin Yu (PM): "What’s up?"

Li Hua (PM): "My messenger filmed some things in your territory. The other lords have gotten their hands on it, and they’re about to see it."

Li Hua (PM): "I’m truly sorry about this!"

Li Hua (PM): "I know you’ve been trying to keep your territory’s secrets under wraps, and now it’s all getting blown wide open."

Li Hua (PM): "However, if you still want to keep things secret, I can destroy the recording for you."

Lin Yu (PM): "Don’t worry about it. Let them watch. I knew your messenger was recording!"

Lin Yu (PM): "It’s fine. I figured the details about my territory couldn’t be hidden for much longer anyway. It was bound to come out during this stage sooner or later."

Li Hua (PM): "That’s a relief! But is it okay for your Demon Race to be exposed now? I already took the heat for you on that front."

Lin Yu (PM): "Hehehe, you’ll know when you see it! Let’s just say it’s a little... shocking."

Li Hua (PM): "Being all mysterious, huh?"

Their brief exchange ended. Back in the hall, the projector had been set up. Everyone, extremely curious about Lin Yu’s territory, gathered around, eager to see what the land beyond the great chasm truly looked like.

The footage slowly flickered to life, showing a familiar, towering forest. As the viewpoint moved forward, the trees seemed to grow even taller.

They had all sent scouts out before, so they recognized this forest as Lin Yu’s territory. They expected to see the great chasm appear any second.

But the familiar chasm never appeared in the footage. Instead, after a violent tremor, the viewpoint suddenly shot up into the sky. The tip of a flying sword became visible, and below, the forest was collapsing...

The scene of Lin Yu re-shaping the outer ring of his territory unfolded before the assembled lords. The sight, like witnessing an act of God, left them utterly stunned.

Mouths agape, everyone held their breath, their eyes glued to the scene. They had always assumed the chasm in the forest was a natural formation; they never would have dreamed that Lord Lin had artificially created it through some unknown means.
