Chapter 741: Faith in Holy...No! The Holy Light Has Betrayed Me!

  • Next Chapter

In the pitch-black sea of clouds, the Purgatory Dragon moves.

Bathed in thunderbolt, it coils high above, its head visible but its tail unseen.

Like a Demon God, sacred yet terrifying, it gazes down at the “mortals” below.

“My dear old friend, since our parting at the Magick Academy, I have missed you dearly. Now that you’ve come before me, do you not even wish to reveal yourself for a mere meeting? This truly pains me; I still prefer the unruly you.”

“What nonsense are you muttering to yourself?”

A hint of confusion flickered across Anderson’s face, puzzled as to why the other would suddenly say this.

Yet the Blood Demon Bra residing in his body was struck like a thunderbolt, his heart skipping a beat.

“Impossible! This is impossible!” Bra screeched, “I’ve never actively revealed myself, how could this person know I’m here! There are many who know Shadow Step!”

“Mr. Blood Demon, are you sure he can’t discover you?”

Anderson’s address to the Blood Demon subtly changed without notice, his voice remaining indifferent as before.

At this moment, he seems to have severed human emotion and feelings, retaining only absolute rationality.

Resembling a Divine Spirit.

“I did nothing, what reason does he have to discover me?” Blood Demon Bra screamed again, “Damn it, if I could be discovered so easily, how could I be the legendary Blood Demon? Regardless, I’m the notorious Blood Demon who can stop children from crying at night!”

“Indeed, the undying and immortal blood and the chosen of the dark night, walking in shadows and blood, the demon of revenge, this is the legend you forged with your own hands, even if you likely don’t know what it means, just unintentionally brought about it.”

“Your luck… is really enviable.”

“Sometimes, ignorance is bliss.”

Anderson’s voice carried no emotional ups and downs, but Blood Demon Bra heard a hint of mockery.

He felt a bit ashamed and indignant, but helpless.

Because he indeed didn’t understand what the other was talking about.

He merely sensed there was more to his host’s words, yet wasn’t aware of what the other intended to express.

No chance was given for the two to continue their conversation.

Lu Wenwu initiated an attack!

Cloud Formation and Rain, commanding thunder and lightning.

This place already transformed into a thunderbolt purgatory was now further ignited by Lu Wenwu.

Suddenly, the sea region before Dragon Island whipped up wild winds, a massive downpour akin to a celestial tilt, peppered with fist-sized hailstones.

Furious celestial thunder mixed with hailstorm, the entire Holy Light Court’s team instantly plunged into chaos greater than before.

Water… is conductive!

A menacing black dragon’s head emerged from the clouds, its dragon eyes flashing with near-crazed excitement.

“Roar!”

Joyous dragon roars resonated with angry thunder, charred flesh growing rapidly.

The terrifying Purgatory Dragon Breath turned into a torrent, rushing straight toward Anderson.

Endless Sea of Blood at this moment seemed to reverse, transforming into a spiral torrent covering the Dragon Breath like a war spear.

That cold, dominating power seemed to evaporate the ocean directly, to pierce through the Earth!

The wind follows the tiger, the cloud follows the dragon.

Fire aids the wind.

Under the blessing of Ancient Magic, Lu Wenwu’s Dragon Breath Power was greatly amplified.

“This sinister flame power that makes one’s heart tremble… the storm turns into aid…”

Faced with the terrifying attack seemingly to strike him down directly, a more blazing Holy Flame rose from Anderson.

Behind him, light wings flapped as he soared from below.

Dazzling sword light burst forth, fierce Sword Intent surging.

The radiance of the Divine Sword of Judgment surged, transforming into a hundred-meter sword of light, splitting Lu Wenwu’s Dragon Breath, like Moses dividing the sea.

After slicing the Dragon Breath, the sword light bizarrely swelled again, slashing straight at Lu Wenwu’s head.

“Demon Dragon, meet your death!”

Lu Wenwu laughed heartily, unleashing the Dragon Breath brewing in his mouth toward the other side of the battlefield.

The sharp Dragon Claw, enhanced with the Demon God Battle Lance, struck upward.

The falling Purgatory Dragon Breath splashed, resembling a torrential fire rain that even upon entering the water continued to burn fiercely, showing no signs of extinguishing.

Heavy rain and fire rain descended simultaneously, a true ice and fire disaster!

Steam rose across the sky, that overpowering heat even stronger than flames entirely ignored fire attribute defenses, delivering a blow to these physics-ignorant folks.

A Near-God Level Priest, in a reckless moment while saving church members, got contaminated with a bit of Purgatory Dragon Flame and instantly got ignited by the mysterious black flame, turned into a human torch.

From his throat came a plaintive howl, trying to resist this extreme heat corrosion with the seemingly omnipotent Holy Light Power, enhancing his body’s recovery ability.

Yet, the Holy Light that once had never failed lost its effect at this moment.

It not only failed to negate the Purgatory Dragon Breath but was instead devoured by it, feeding the Purgatory Dragon Flame.

The stronger the Holy Light, the more vigorously the Purgatory Dragon Flame burned, like hot oil poured into fire.

This priest frantically believing in the Holy Light seemed hell-bent on clashing with the Purgatory Dragon Flame.

The Little Flame originally extinguishable in an instant with his own magic, stubbornly fed with Holy Light to the extent of igniting himself into a fiery figure!

Finally relying on a massive amount of Holy Light, he forcibly blew up this small cluster of Purgatory Dragon Flame, burning half of his life, finally resolving it.
