Fuck!!!! I'm Having The Alpha Princess's Baby.
Chapter 390: Kiara Reveal A Secret...
Inside Princess’s car, Princess held the steering wheel, Faye sat in the front passenger seat, and for some unknown reason, Kiara was sprawled across the backseat.
The rest of the crew followed close behind in the van.
Faye sat with the picture album Jessie had handed her resting on her dear lap. She kept staring down at the cover, her thumb tracing the hard border as she wondered what kind of ghosts she was about to see once she opened it.
"Are you not going to open it, babe?" Princess asked, keeping her tone smooth. Her eyes had been darting over to the passenger side every few seconds, watching Faye’s restless fingers tap against the cardboard.
"I don’t know how I’m going to react to seeing pictures of myself that I can’t even remember taking," Faye said, her voice dropping.
"Open it, then let’s see how you’ll react," Kiara chimed in from behind, leaning her elbows against the center console. "Because this Alpha keeps staring over at you instead of paying attention to the road."
Faye tilted her head back, casting an annoyed glance toward the rear seat.
"You brought your own car," Faye said, her brow furrowing. "Why didn’t you just drive it?"
"Bonding will be a great thing to do, and right now is a good time for both of us," Kiara replied with a lazy shrug. "Besides, I actually enjoy having a personal chauffeur drive me around."
Faye let out a quick breath and looked back out the windshield. Trying to argue with Kiara was an absolute waste of energy.
"If a few of your old school pictures are inside this book and none showed up in the original official yearbook... don’t you think that’s strange, Faye?" Princess asked, keeping her gaze locked straight on the street ahead.
She was actively pretending the backseat was completely empty, knowing that acknowledging Kiara was the fastest way to invite drama.
"I don’t know. Maybe someone went out of their way to wipe them," Faye murmured. The complete absence of her name, academic records, and face from the official school files felt plain unnatural.
"Isn’t it obvious?" Kiara cut in again, completely ignoring the silence meant for her. "You altered reality, trying to erase yourself from everyone at that school. Everyone else still has a chance to remember you, but you wiped your own mind clean."
Faye turned slightly in her seat. "You literally told me I dumped something into the school water system and that’s what caused the whole thing. How does water contamination suddenly equal altering reality?"
Instead of answering, Kiara leaned back against the leather seat and began to softly whistle a rhythmic tune, staring aimlessly out the tinted side window.
Princess’s eyes flicked upward, catching Kiara’s smug face in the rear view mirror. She recognized that specific whistle pattern immediately.
"What do you know, Kiara?" Princess demanded, her tone dropping low. "Spit it out."
"Information comes with a price, ex-babe," Kiara said smoothly, tapping her fingers against her knee.
Faye turned all the way around in her seat. She didn’t say a word, but her sharp gaze practically ordered Kiara to speak up.
Kiara folded her arms across her chest and flashed a slow smile.
"That look on your face isn’t going to make me talk, I am not your beta you can easily control.." Kiara said.
"I don’t even want you to talk," Faye snapped, turning back around. "You’re making my ears bleed."
"I don’t see any blood," Kiara shot back without missing a beat.
"Kiara... what do you actually know?" Princess asked again, her grip tightening on the steering wheel.
"Kiara doesn’t know a single thing," Faye said, waving a dismissal with her hand. "Don’t mind her, babe."
"She definitely knows something," Princess insisted, her eyes narrowing as she watched the mirror. "If she didn’t, she wouldn’t be sitting back there making that specific sound."
Kiara rested her chin on her hand. "My price is very simple. I get to spend a full day with Faye. Just a normal, casual outing so we can have some proper bonding time. I want to get to know her better."
"You can keep your secret to yourself," Princess said flatly. "You are not going out on any kind of date with my girlfriend."
"Relax, Princess," Kiara snorted, rolling her shoulders. "I’m not trying to steal your girl. She isn’t even my type."
"Hey," Faye interrupted, sounding personally offended.
"It’s true," Kiara said, looking Faye up and down. "If we were the very last two people left alive on this entire planet, I would honestly rather become a holy monk."
"Kiara, if you aren’t going to give us a straight answer, keep that whistle behind your teeth," Princess warned.
"So am I getting my casual outing with Faye or what?"
"No way," both Faye and Princess said at the exact same time.
Kiara rolled her eyes at their synchronized response, though her smile didn’t fade. She always found a back door to get what she wanted anyway.
"Fine, fine," Kiara said, suddenly leaning all the way forward so her face was positioned right between their headrests. "I will just tell you... Princess is the actual reason why you can’t access your own memories."
Faye blinked, looking over at her girlfriend. "That doesn’t make any sense. How is Princess the reason, and why wouldn’t I remember that?"
"Kiara, stop making up wild stories and sit back down in your seat," Faye said, flicking her wrist to shoo her off.
"I am giving you the cold truth," Kiara said, staying right where she was. "Princess doesn’t remember most of her past either, but my dearest sister certainly does. She happens to be Princess’s main therapist."
"So what?" Princess muttered, keeping her eyes fixed on the red light ahead.
"God, do I really have to spell out every detail for you two?" Kiara exhaled loudly, shaking her head. "Silviana’s primary field of medical study is the human brain. You happened to be her favorite test subject. You and her worked on something together that ended up bending reality... specifically Faye’s reality."
"How do you even know all this garbage?" Faye asked, her brows pulling together as she tried to process the wild claim.
"When I was digging around for something in her private study room at home, I stumbled right across a stack of medical files that belonged directly to Princess," Kiara explained, her tone dropping into something surprisingly serious. "I didn’t read through every single page, but I am one hundred percent sure Princess is the root cause behind your memory loss."
Neither Faye nor Princess said another word for several seconds. The story sounded way too ridiculous to take seriously.
"If you two stubborn lovebirds don’t want to take my word for it, you are completely free to go ask her yourself," Kiara added, leaning back into her seat finally.
"I am sure she will give you a detailed breakdown of why she keeps Princess’s confidential medical files locked up tight inside a heavy steel safe, why Faye has zero recorded memory of her school life here in Oakland, and why she is holding onto your pup’s medical files."
Faye’s head snapped back around so fast her neck popped.
"What do you mean by my pup’s medical files?"
"Oh right, I forgot to bring that up," Kiara said casually, looking out the side window again. "I saw Donny’s file sitting right in that same safe. And if you guys actually go confront her, make sure you demand the library key while you’re at it."
The more Kiara rambled on, the less the two girls paid attention to the rest of her words. All the chaotic chatter in the car suddenly faded into distant background noise as a single heavy question slammed into their minds.
What in the world were their daughter’s private medical files doing locked away inside Silviana’s private safe?
