Fuck!!!! I'm Having The Alpha Princess's Baby.

Chapter 387: Faye Apologize To Jessie

  • Next Chapter

Before heading out to pick up their kids, both girls stopped by Haley’s place to check on Faye’s friends.

Ever since the incident, Bambi had been resting inside the house, still completely out cold.

Malo had called Faye earlier to let her know where everyone was staying. Princess made sure she tagged along.

The last time Faye left her sight, Faye ended up unconscious for hours. There was no way Princess was letting her wander off alone again. A hidden tracker and a mandatory check-in phone call every 30 minutes barely eased her mind. If it were up to her, she would have planted a hidden camera right on Faye’s collarbone without a second thought.

Instead, she settled for acting like a permanent shadow. Every corner Faye turned, Princess was right behind her.

Now Princess was Faye’s Handbag.

When they stepped into the backyard, they spotted Jessie in the pool, cutting through the clear water with easy strokes.

"Hi, Faye," Jessie called out, waving as she drifted toward the edge.

Then her eyes landed on Princess standing right behind her, and her arm dropped back into the water instantly.

"Good afternoon, Jessie. I came by to see Haley and the others," Faye said, giving a polite wave toward the pool.

"Pretty sure they’re all hanging out in the garage," Jessie replied, pushing herself up out of the water. She grabbed a fluffy robe off the poolside chair and pulled it over her shoulders. "I just whipped up a quick snack for them. Honestly... I’m starting to think they’ve got someone tied up in there."

Princess watched the way Jessie stepped out onto the concrete.

"Look at you, walking just fine." It had been weeks since she sent Beam over to settle that score, but clearly Beam hadn’t been thorough enough.

"My leg is completely healed," Jessie said, tying the belt around her waist. "Being a werewolf comes in handy like that. Super fast healing and some solid bed rest did the trick."

"Guess she didn’t hit hard enough huh," Princess muttered under her breath.

Faye snapped her head back, glaring straight into Princess’s eyes. The unspoken warning was clear as day, but Princess just shrugged it off silently.

Nobody got that close to her girl and walked away without paying for it.

Faye let out a soft sigh, rolling her eyes as she turned back to face Jessie.

She had been wanting to ask her something for days, and time was running out fast.

"Jessie, I wanted to ask you about something... if that’s okay?"

"Go ahead," Jessie said, squeezing the excess water out of her hair. "As long as it doesn’t end up crippling my other leg."

She wasn’t stupid. She knew exactly why she got attacked that night. Messing around with an Alpha’s omega always came with a steep price. Even if she wanted payback, she didn’t stand a chance. She wasn’t strong enough to take on Beam, and Beam wasn’t even the Alpha here.

Besides, this entire town belonged to the Kings anyway.

Guilt flashed across Faye’s face as she watched Jessie slightly while adjusting her robe. It was obvious Jessie had figured out why the attack happened in the first place.

"I’m really sorry about what my girlfriend and her friend did to you," Faye said, her voice dropping softly.

Princess stared at Faye, her eyes wide with total disbelief, but she forced her jaw shut and stayed quiet.

"Don’t worry about it," Jessie said with a small wave of her hand. "Just... maybe next time you feel like hooking up with someone, warn them you belong to an Alpha first. That way they can prepare themselves."

"We weren’t actually together when we tried to do that," Faye corrected gently. "And we didn’t even finish."

"Right. Because if we did, I wouldn’t be standing here breathing right now."

"Well, your girlfriend actually saved us both," Faye added. "We really would have gone through with it."

Princess squeezed her hands into fists, her patience snapping right down the middle. "For god’s sake... are you going to ask her the question or not? We have kids to go pick up after this..."

Standing there listening to them talk about almost sleeping together was pure torture. It felt like Faye was stretching out the conversation just to mess with her.

Faye cleared her throat, redirecting her focus. "I need that yearbook you brought up that night. The one you said you wanted to show me."

"You mean the one from seven years ago?" Jessie asked.....

"Yeah, that exact one."

"The same book you snuck into my room to find?" Jessie asked smoothly.

Princess’s gaze whipped toward Faye, her eyes narrowing fast. "You were in her bedroom?"

Faye quickly looked down at the concrete tiles, avoiding Princess’s rising heat. The jealousy in the air was getting heavy enough to choke on.

She couldn’t help but wonder if Haley had been the one to spill the secret to her sister..

"My brother called to tell me someone was sneaking around my space," Jessie said, brushing a wet strand of hair off her forehead. "Don’t sweat it though. It’s in the past. You guys go ahead and head over to the garage, and I’ll go dig up the book."

"Okay, thank you..." Faye murmured.

She turned around and began walking down the side path toward the garage.

After taking a few steps, she noticed the heavy silence behind her and glanced back over her shoulder. Princess hadn’t moved an inch. She was still standing right in front of Jessie with a dark, satisfied smirk playing on her lips.

"So, how’s your stepbrother doing these days?" Princess asked, her voice dripping with mock polite interest.

Jessie stiffened slightly. "He’s fine. I know you guys had that massive rivalry going on back then, but he’s doing really well where he lives now."

"Glad to hear it," Princess purred softly. "I just hope he finally stopped jerking off to your personal pictures."

She didn’t wait for a response. Turning on her heel, she strolled away, leaving Jessie completely frozen in place by the side of the pool.

Faye slowed her pace until Princess caught up, leaning in close as they walked together toward the side entrance.

"What was that back there?" she whispered quietly.

Princess kept her gaze locked straight ahead, offering zero explanation.

But every word she said was the absolute truth.

Last year, Kiara had dated Jessie’s stepbrother specifically to dig up enough dirt to force him to step down from working for Leo. That dirty secret happened to be a hidden video of him obsessing over his step sister’s photos behind closed doors.

He was so humiliated when they confronted him that he packed his bags and fled Oakland entirely just to keep the video from spreading everywhere.

Princess reached out, catching Faye’s hand in hers and tugging her gently.

"Come on," Princess said quietly. "Let’s go see your new Beta."
