Chapter 236: Chapter 13: Sweeping the Underground Mine, Mo Ning’s Performance Stuns Everyone
"This kid is incredible!"
Mansha couldn’t help but exclaim.
Velen agreed. "It’s so rare to see such a brilliant fight during a rookie trial. Even a team of First Level Apprentices clearing out this cave probably couldn’t do much better."
The rookie team had somehow performed at the level of First Level Apprentices, which was truly astonishing.
Anyone could see what a crucial role Mo Ning played. He was the absolute core of the group.
He led his team to back the Goblin Tribe into a corner, forcing them to charge out and fight. Then, he crushed the Dark Goblins in a single blow, allowing his team to leisurely finish off the rest.
His intelligence, strength, and leadership were all outstanding.
Mansha started focusing on another key point. "How is that kid’s Throwing Trick so powerful? If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I would’ve thought it was Level Zero Witchcraft."
Velen speculated, "It must have been deeply optimized. And the level of Divination used for the optimization must be extremely high, drastically increasing its Casting efficiency."
Nasha felt immense joy as she listened to her two colleagues’ discussion.
She had long since considered Mo Ning to be Anya’s future husband, so she naturally saw him as one of her own.
One of her own was putting on such a stunning performance that it even amazed two Third Level Apprentices. Of course she had reason to be happy.
’And through her connection with Anya, she could even ask Mo Ning for help with difficult Divination problems in the future. Her strength would surely increase faster than her two colleagues.’
Soon, a new scene appeared on the Light Curtain.
The logistics team entered the Goblin Tribe’s settlement and began processing the spoils of war in batches.
Under Princess Phoebe’s command, the newcomers adopted an assembly-line-style process—each person was responsible for one step, which greatly increased their efficiency.
The scene was bloody, but the newcomers were tireless, and the three Apprentices were long used to it.
Mansha watched for a while before suddenly commenting, "Princess Phoebe’s management skills are quite rare among newcomers. She’s also very beautiful. She and Mo Ning would make a good match."
Nasha’s face fell for a moment, but she quickly returned to normal.
The Female Apprentice glanced at Mansha out of the corner of her eye, cursing inwardly, ’Shameless woman!’
She knew better than anyone that the woman had said it on purpose, trying to provoke her.
She tried to calm herself down. ’I won’t get angry. Getting angry is falling right into that shameless woman’s trap!’
While frantically stabbing a voodoo doll of Mansha in her mind, Nasha forced a smile and agreed, "This Princess Phoebe certainly is talented."
The two Female Apprentices looked at each other, then looked away, each with their own ulterior motives.
A sudden uproar erupted from the Light Curtain, drawing the Apprentices’ attention.
"Mithril!"
"That’s a huge piece of Mithril!"
"Guys, we’re rich this time!"
The newcomers cleaning the battlefield all started shouting excitedly.
One of the newcomers excitedly held up a fist-sized piece of silver metal and handed it to Princess Phoebe.
According to convention, any spoils of war the newcomers obtained during the assessment belonged to them, and they could take them out after the assessment was over.
Velen took a closer look, his expression immediately turning to one of envy. "That piece of Mithril isn’t small. It’s worth at least 1,000 Black Tower Points. These guys are way too lucky."
Although Mithril was no longer considered rare with the dawn of the Era of Expansion, its value was still quite high.
Mansha, who had always had an excellent memory, immediately recalled the reason. "I heard the No. 9 Underground Mine Maze was originally a Mithril mine that was abandoned for several millennia.
"After this Dark Goblin Tribe was forcibly relocated into the maze, they were lucky enough to dig up a remnant Mithril vein.
"The No. 9 Underground Maze is a rookie training ground. For all these years, no newcomers have been capable of destroying this Goblin Tribe, so this piece of Mithril was never discovered."
Nasha was also a little envious, but she felt more joy than anything. She smiled and said, "Those with true ability deserve such a reward."
There was nothing wrong with that statement, and the other two Apprentices couldn’t refute it.
