Ten Minutes Ago

"Seriously... Master Lin Dong..."

The cute and delicate-featured Elf girl, with long black hair and an eerie white complexion, nervously shrank her neck and cautiously pointed to the ’battlefield’ in the distance being ravaged by violent elements, where visibility was extremely low. With a subtle expression, she asked, "Are you sure you want us to go over there soon and face off with that guy, whom we knew was powerful, but seeing him now, he’s obviously not human?"

Today, Yinna was wearing a set of silver light armor, draped with a dusty brown cloak. The longbow on her back was her original one, though Master Lin Dong had taken it away recently for some improvements. Including the other three teammates, everyone’s weapons had undergone several rounds of ’upgrades’. Though the quality wasn’t great, they could barely match up to the advanced stage.

That’s right, advanced stage!

After realizing they were ’Undying’ rather than ’Dead’, not a ’conscious puppet’ resurrected by a Necromancer, but a high-level undead creature that awoke by their own will when summoned, the four members of the Fenrir Team, who once viewed themselves so lowly and were full of small farmer mentality, finally surpassed their limits one by one—the limit from when they were alive—and completed their progression from middle rank to advanced stage in a short time.

Thus, the four presently standing here are:

[Plague] - Ned Frum

[War] - Crab Karich

[Calamity] - Salacha Brive

[Death] - Yinna Morning Dew

They have successfully joined the ranks of advanced-stage powers—the weakest level!

Yes, the cool nicknames handed to these few by Hei Fan and Master Lin Dong’s ’friends’, the benefactors who resurrected them, come with high stylishness, but it doesn’t mean they’ve gained the strength to match those nicknames.

In the same advanced stage, the character ’Lin Dong’ at full strength can go seven-three against the character ’Tan Mo’, and three-seven against ’Mor’. However, during the so-called relaxing activity, Yi Dong, without turning into a Zombie state that could fully unleash his strength, wiped out [Plague], [War], [Calamity], [Death] in ten minutes. Had these people not been dead already, they probably would have died again.

You can look at this from two perspectives.

On one hand, Yi Dong is really strong—very strong. Though his level in other games is just so-so and he’d get crushed by any version of Mo Tan without spending money, it’s undeniable that ’Lin Dong’ in the Realm of Innocence is quite capable, especially after unlocking the [Spirit Medium] profession. Even though his appearance frequency isn’t high, his combat prowess far surpasses most same-rank professionals.

Without exposing his identities as an Eternal Race member and Necromancer, despite his high-level profession [Frost Disaster Mage] being only level 3, when combined with the [Demon Sorcerer] profession, which isn’t high-level but has comprehensive abilities well in line, he can basically evenly match an ordinary high-order pinnacle.

An all-out Yi Dong is at least twice his usual strength, with the Zombie form amplifying undead-skills significantly, causing a transformative boost.

By the way, under Motan’s constant ’patronage’, Yi Dong’s equipment and consumables are top-tier, learning materials are limitless, making his situation quite enviable.

So, we can understand that ’Lin Dong’ is genuinely strong, with zero exaggeration involved.

On the other hand, Fenrir Team’s four are honestly weak. As mentioned earlier, although they quickly reached the advanced stage, they’re the weakest in that level. They’d take a few minutes just to single-handedly defeat Hei Fan. Their potential isn’t an issue—it’s inherent in the soul level—but weak is genuinely weak, with no exaggeration.

In this scenario, the ’enemy’ they’re facing today is notably high on the player’s individual power rankings, whom even Yi Dong can only look up to as Double Leaf, making this quite amusing.

"Or rather, it would be amusing to anyone else, but being the involved party, it’s not amusing at all."

Though Yinna wasn’t backing out, her lively personality constantly delivered sharp quips—partly to ease her tension and partly because she genuinely felt her second life might end today.

As for the other three...

"Haha, if we die, we die; we’ve died once before, what’s scary about it?"

Iron-can-like Crab laughed loudly, with a nonchalant demeanor, "Besides, hasn’t Master Lin Dong revived us once already? He also said our souls are very resilient, I reckon another revival shouldn’t be a problem."

Wearing the same dark blue leather armor as in life, only his gauntlets had been reforged, Salacha smirked lightly and said, "According to Master Lin Dong, the reason we were revived before was because our bodies were perfectly preserved and we had an unrelenting obsession. Now knowing our great vengeance has been avenged, the enemies are dead entirely... I don’t know about you, but honestly, I have no regrets."
