Five Broken Beast Husbands, One Wicked Female with a Pocket Dimension
Chapter 112: Don’t You Mind?
Chapter 112: Chapter 112: Don’t You Mind?
Qiao Suluo paused when she heard this question. She didn’t understand why the South Wind Tower Master would ask such a thing. She turned the words over in her mind several times, trying to analyze his intentions.
Ultimately, she replied, "Yes, he is very important. I only hope you will honor your promise when the time comes." She decided to emphasize his importance to prevent the Master from refusing to let Tushan Feishang go later. As long as she demonstrated her ability and value by improving Nanfeng Building’s business, the South Wind Tower Master wouldn’t hold onto Tushan Feishang.
"Naturally."
Hearing this, Qiao Suluo somehow felt that the Master seemed to be in a good mood. She figured this was for the best; it meant he wouldn’t make things difficult for them later.
"I remember you used to detest Tushan Feishang to the extreme, which was why you sold him to Nanfeng Building."
"That was all a misunderstanding. I’ve realized my mistake. Once I redeem him, I will treat him well."
The Master scoffed. "A female’s words are hardly trustworthy. He has stayed in Nanfeng Building. Do you truly not mind?"
Qiao Suluo replied earnestly, "Why should I mind? It isn’t his fault. So what if other females cast a few extra glances at him? It’s not like he’ll lose a piece of flesh." Having embraced modern ideologies, which vastly differed from those of the Beast World Continent, she genuinely didn’t care about such things.
Tushan Feishang tapped his finger against the table. Her answer was quite interesting, and her way of thinking was completely different from before.

Stepping out of Nanfeng Building, Qiao Suluo finally let out a slow sigh of relief as her tense nerves unwound. Dealing with the South Wind Tower Master truly required one to be on high alert. She had been terrified of making a slip of the tongue. With that, she took her leave.
Little did she know, Tushan Feishang was watching her from a second-floor window, the emotions in his eyes unfathomable. His subordinates sensed that their master was in a good mood, though they couldn’t fathom why. They wondered if it had something to do with Miss Qiao.
But hadn’t their master loathed Miss Qiao the most in the past, wishing he could stay as far away from her as possible? If he hadn’t been willing, there was no way Miss Qiao could have sold him to Nanfeng Building. He had only done it to escape her. Besides, Nanfeng Building was their own territory now; the master could do whatever he pleased and had absolute final say.
So why had he agreed to Miss Qiao’s proposition? If the building’s business really doubled, was he truly planning to return with her?

Having saved her silver, Qiao Suluo felt exceptionally delighted. Even her footsteps grew incredibly light and brisk. She headed to the market to purchase eggs, lettuce, firewood, and green onions, followed by a trip to the grain shop for some mixed grain flour. Returning to Drunken Immortal Tower, she borrowed their backyard to knead the dough. Then, bringing out the small iron stove she had stored there, she fired it up and began making and selling mixed grain crepes. As for the seasonings, they were products from her spatial dimension.
Passersby walking past the entrance of Drunken Immortal Tower caught the mouthwatering aroma and turned their heads. Upon seeing Qiao Suluo, they hurriedly gathered around. "Oh my, Miss Qiao, you’ve finally come out to set up your stall again!"
"Exactly! The food you made before was absolutely delicious. It’s a shame we haven’t seen you since. We thought you’d stopped running your stall."
"It really is Miss Qiao! So this stall is yours? We thought it belonged to Drunken Immortal Tower..."
Many of them were returning customers who had previously bought food from her. Seeing her, they gathered around on their own accord. Watching her spread the crepe batter, they didn’t know how it would taste, but it certainly smelled divine. The crowd watched as she cracked an egg over the crepe. As the temperature rose, the rich fragrance of the egg slowly emanated, blending perfectly with the aroma of the wheat crepe to create a mouthwatering scent.
"This cooking method is quite novel. It’s my first time seeing it."
"Right? It goes without saying that every dish Miss Qiao makes is delicious. It smells amazing."
The regulars who had purchased her food before knew the taste was guaranteed to be good. Seeing her old customers flock over, Qiao Suluo felt a sense of warmth. She smiled and explained, "These are mixed grain crepes. They cost three cents each. I only have this one basin of batter, so once I’m sold out, I’ll close up for the day.
"I’ll be setting up the stall every day from now on. The food I make might vary, but the quality and taste are guaranteed. You can all eat with peace of mind; the flavor will definitely not disappoint."
Hearing her assurances, everyone felt at ease. Thinking that three cents wasn’t expensive, someone shouted, "I’ll buy one!"
"I’ll take three!"
"I’ll get one too!"
The regular customers didn’t hesitate, deciding to buy some to taste right away. Others, considering their large households, bought extra to take back so their entire families could enjoy them. They were afraid that if they ordered too late, she would run out.
"Alright." Qiao Suluo collected the copper coins while continuing to make the crepes.
Someone bought one and immediately took a bite on the spot. "Delicious! This is too good!" With people praising the taste, the crowd grew even more confident, and the number of buyers surged.
By noon, Qiao Suluo had sold over eighty crepes. Only a tiny bit of batter remained in the basin. Having earned over two hundred copper coins, Qiao Suluo realized this was entirely hard-earned manual labor money. She would still have to figure out a different business venture for tomorrow.
At this moment, the system chimed in. "Host, you can use the remaining batter to make a crepe and give it to Yue Hanzheng to try."
"With his attitude, I have absolutely no desire to bring him food," Qiao Suluo replied. "I saved this little bit of batter to make some for Que Hongjin and the others." Her plans didn’t include Yue Hanzheng at all.
"Host, this is a mission. For the sake of this world’s stability, you will have to work a little harder. Once you successfully conquer him, you won’t have to do anything you don’t want to."
Only then did Qiao Suluo make a few more crepes and wrap them up. Just then, another customer approached to buy some, but she could only smile apologetically. "I’m sorry, I’m closed for the day."
"But I see you just made a few more."
"These aren’t for sale," Qiao Suluo explained. "I made them for my own family to eat.
"However, if you’d like to try them, ma’am, you can come a bit earlier tomorrow."
The customer could only leave in disappointment.
Qiao Suluo gave two to the Shopkeeper of Drunken Immortal Tower—one for him and one for his Young Master. Next, she headed to the residence from the previous day. She brought three crepes with her: one for Gu Songlan, one for his servant, Mr. Dongqing, and the last for Yue Hanzheng.
"Thank you to your Young Valley Master for treating my Beast Husband. I made this food myself. It’s just a small token of my appreciation."
The servant, Mr. Dongqing, hadn’t expected Qiao Suluo to return at all. "Alright, I will inform our Young Valley Master."
After expressing her gratitude once more, Qiao Suluo headed home with the remaining four crepes. She planned to have lunch with Que Hongjin and the others.

Upon entering the residence, Mr. Dongqing handed the crepe to Gu Songlan. "Young Valley Master, this is a crepe brought by Miss Qiao. She said it’s for you to try."
Gu Songlan had heard the commotion at the door earlier. His elegant brows shifted slightly as he spoke in a clear, mellow voice. "Yes, I know. Deliver this one to Yue Hanzheng."
"Understood."
When Mr. Dongqing delivered the food and explained the situation, Yue Hanzheng couldn’t believe it at first. Once he confirmed that Mr. Dongqing was telling the truth, he said, "I wouldn’t dare eat the food she makes." He still remembered the incident where Qiao Suluo had drugged him.
"Are you really not going to eat it?"
"No. Throw it away."
"It’s a shame to throw it away," Mr. Dongqing replied. "That’s wasting food. If you won’t eat it, I will."
Without any hesitation, Mr. Dongqing began eating right in front of Yue Hanzheng. His eyes instantly lit up, and he exclaimed excitedly, "MMM, this is way too delicious! I’ve never had such a tasty crepe before."
