Fated love: the unwanted bride
Chapter 2690: Satisfy Me
At night, past eleven, Sylvan Cheney returned to the villa.
A maid was waiting at the door, helping him remove his suit jacket and handing him slippers.
The villa’s living room was luxurious, brightly lit, with a lavish color scheme typical of the European style; even the crystal chandeliers were crafted extravagantly with crushed diamonds, and the furniture glimmered with bright luster.
"Evan, you’re back." Erin Janus stood at the staircase, her belly round, smiling warmly as she looked down at him.
Sylvan frowned, "You’re not asleep yet?"
"I just couldn’t sleep today. I heard some noise downstairs and knew you were back. Ah, you came back too late." Erin stepped down, her fair face carrying a gentle smile, her mixed blue eyes fixed on Sylvan.
"You should go to bed earlier. I need to go to the study to deal with some contracts."
"I just happen to be unable to sleep too." Erin playfully glanced at him, then waved at the maids to leave.
The vast living room only had the two of them left.
Erin walked towards Sylvan slowly, getting closer, with a smile on her lips.
She wore a loose light blue silk nightgown with a V-neck, wearing nothing underneath. Due to pregnancy, what was underneath the clothes was faintly visible.
She stepped closer to Sylvan, wearing slippers, and was much shorter than him, standing in front of him with a bit of a delicate, reliant demeanor.
Erin reached out her hand, fingers gently hooking Sylvan’s white shirt.
"Evan... I want you." She looked up, her watery eyes enveloped in a light mist, her lips gently biting, her posture alluring and glamorous, cheeks with a hint of blush.
Her hand sought to move further, but her wrist was held by him.
"It’s late, you should go to sleep. Staying up is bad for the baby." He spoke in his usual tone, unchanged from before, cool and bland, even his eyes showed no ripples.
"I didn’t stay up late, I took a nap."
Erin looked up at him, under the lights, this man’s face grew ever more charming, despite the coolness, it was full of a repressed, celibate air that tempted women to conquer, she was no exception.
"Still, you shouldn’t have come downstairs, you could catch a cold." He looked back at her.
Erin chuckled softly, her face full of the coy and shy demeanor of a young woman: "I missed you, that’s why I came downstairs as soon as I heard you. I long for my husband, what about you? Don’t you want to see me? Evan, it’s been a long time since we... don’t you want me? I really want you. That night you were so fierce, almost tore my bones apart, and now you’re playing the gentleman. There’s no one else here, Evan, please indulge me."
"Erin, your due date is near, at this critical juncture, I don’t want anything to happen."
Erin raised her head, still showing an unsatisfied and alluring demeanor.
Unfortunately, her hand was held, she couldn’t make further moves.
Plus, with her limited mobility, indeed she dared not go too far.
Yet she uncomfortably leaned towards him, her voice softly delicate, fully showing a small woman’s stance: "Evan, you’re just being too cautious, the doctor said it’s fine. You know, pregnant woman also... what about you? Don’t you?"
"I’m not that desperate." He responded lightly.
