Xavier passed by with corn and said to Sora, "The corn is also roasted. Come over and eat some corn."

Hearing this, Sora walked over to the round table and sat down.

Seeing her sit at the table, Ryan placed the wild fruits he had picked beside her.

"These are sweet fruits. They’re very sweet and not sour."

Sora nodded.

"I know."

Ace, Lucas, and Lukan also brought the egg pancakes to the table.

Sora looked at the abundant breakfast in front of her and felt a wave of emotion.

She never expected that one day she could eat a breakfast made by others.

She casually took a seat, pointing at the wild chickens hanging from the tree.

"I can’t cook, so I caught a few wild chickens. I heard that pregnant females should eat this for nourishment."

Ryan followed up, "I also got some fish. Making soup with it will be good for you."

The quiet eating environment was broken by these two.

Sora had been enjoying the ease of not having to cook breakfast today, but now all eyes were fixed on her.

Sora glanced at the six people at the table.

"What are you all staring at?"

Damien, who had been tormented all night, couldn’t hold back any longer.

He wanted to clarify things with Sora and said, "Tell me the truth. Are you pregnant or not?"

Sora tore off a piece of egg pancake and stuffed it into her mouth.

After chewing for a while, she slowly said, "I’m not sure, but I’ve indeed been feeling a bit unwell these past few days."

Upon hearing this, Lucas was stunned, his face seemingly petrified.

The other four people showed expressions of joy, especially Ace, whose face practically screamed that he was about to become a father.

Xavier’s expression remained relatively unchanged.

It was unclear whether he was indifferent because it didn’t concern him or whether he was simply not surprised by the news.

Either way, his demeanor was very calm.

After Sora finished speaking, she continued eating the corn in her hand.

However, after a short while, she noticed that the gazes directed at her had not dissipated, forcing her to put down the corn and glance at the group again.

"What’s wrong now? It’s just breakfast. Why so many questions?"

Ace rubbed his tongue with his teeth, a hint of anticipation in his voice as he asked, "So, what kind of little cub is it?"

She had just encountered a similar question from the system yesterday.

Hearing Ace say it made her roll her eyes at him in exasperation.

"How would I know? Unless it’s born."

Upon hearing this, Ace scratched his head, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"I thought you knew."

Did she know?

Who could say for sure about such things?

After hearing Sora’s uncertain response, the group finally withdrew their gazes from her.

However, although everything seemed calm on the surface, several people were secretly stirred up inside.

Since Sora hadn’t specified whose it was, did that mean everyone had a chance?

Just the thought of Sora carrying their little cub made them unable to contain their excitement.

After finishing breakfast, Sora pointed at the neatly stacked wheat ears nearby and said, "As agreed yesterday, you all need to grind these wheat ears today."

Hearing this, the six of them nodded and started working enthusiastically.

Since the tribe began purifying salt themselves, they no longer needed to hunt so much prey to trade for salt with the city.

Lukan was not as busy as before and joined the other beastmen in their tasks after breakfast.

After Sora explained how to grind flour, she sat down at a round table nearby and became bored.

Xavier handed her a rabbit, saying, "Today you take care of this one."

Seeing the white rabbit, Sora’s eyes lit up.

"It was the one from last time."

"Yes, I’ve been taking care of it," Xavier said in a flat tone.

However, Sora felt a bit guilty upon hearing this.

Since Xavier had given her the rabbit, she had been busy with other matters and had somewhat forgotten about it.

If Xavier hadn’t brought the rabbit to her today, she might have completely forgotten she had one.

She felt a pang of guilt toward the rabbit.

Thinking of this, her face turned slightly red as she said, "I will take good care of it."

Ace, seeing Xavier handing a rabbit to Sora, couldn’t help but mutter to himself, "Xavier sure has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. If I had known this rabbit would make Kaelira think of him so often, I could have sent her a leopard instead."

While Sora was carefully feeding the rabbit, Serena was digging in the soil, preparing to make beggar’s chicken.

After escaping from the wolf tribe, she arrived at the black pig tribe.

This group of pigs might be ugly, but they were quite strong in these mountains.

They were surprisingly the local tyrants.

After she hurriedly escaped that day, she fainted from exhaustion and was saved by the black pig leader.

Fortunately, it was nighttime, and he couldn’t see her true appearance clearly.

The next day, after she applied pearl powder, the tribe members regarded her as a goddess, saying they had never seen such a beautiful female before.

After being pursued and receiving considerable attention, Serena felt like she had come back to life.

This was her—not the Serena who had hidden away while being pointed at by others.

However, in a new tribe, if one was merely good-looking, it might be easy to gain the acceptance of the beastmen, but it wouldn’t necessarily mean acceptance from the females.

Therefore, she needed to demonstrate her value in the tribe to establish her footing.

Most importantly, she needed the tribe’s people to trust her.

Kaelira had harmed her so badly that she wouldn’t let her off easily.

Nothing could win these people’s favor more easily than good food.

The food made by the tribe was similar to what Lyra usually made, consisting of wild fruits and roasted meat.
