Li Yuexiang knelt in front, sobbing inconsolably, while Li Xijun stood in the courtyard, the Han Lin at his waist silently emitting light. His eyes were slightly red as his gaze circled the scattered Shattered Jade on the ground.

Li Xijun's mind was flooded with a stream of thoughts, passing through one by one, and what appeared before him was the elderly face of Li Xuanxuan.

The flickering lights in the ancestral hall and Li Yuexiang's gentle sobbing were accompanied by a light breeze. Li Xijun revealed an incredibly complex expression, took a step back, turned, and left the ancestral hall as the rain pit-pattered, gathering into a stream by his feet.

Li Xijun first rose on the wind, landing before the Pill Pavilion, hands folded in his sleeves, stepping up the stone stairs.

The courtyard was empty and dark, with the only light being the bright flame of the Pill Furnace in the main hall, casting shadows that danced on the ground. Li Ximing was sitting erect in front of the Pill Furnace, hands forming seals, looking up at him.

Li Xijun waved his hand without speaking, waiting for him to finish concocting the Elixirs and put away the Pill Furnace before taking a step forward.

"Uncle's Life Jade has shattered."

Li Xijun said softly.

Li Ximing was still immersed in studying the Pill Script, momentarily stupefied, he looked up in disbelief and exclaimed,

"How... what... how can this be!"

Li Xijun covered his face as he stepped back, listening to the disarrayed voice of Li Ximing behind him, he gently lifted his head, the lights on the Xuanfeng Talisman Peak still flickering.

The night deepened. Li Xuanxuan had not rested, and Li Xijun could hardly face telling the old man that his last son had likewise perished due to clan affairs.

"Let's drag it out... just drag it out... maybe there's a chance."

...

Qing Song Island.

Compared to most of the restrained battles within Cave Heaven, the fighting on Qing Song Island was chaotic and disordered, with Loose Cultivators clashing together, killing and plundering one another.

Li Qinghong wielded her Spear, flying along the island's edge. Her Jade Armor's radiance flowed, repelling the blood that splattered towards her. Purple Thunderbolts echoed around her, shaking the sea into a surge, turning into white mist.

As the seawater trembled, an object suddenly fell from the void, a dark, glossy pebble, no bigger than a fingernail, silently suspended in the air, immediately drawing the attention of numerous Cultivators.

Li Qinghong's Thunderbolts burst forth, moving a step ahead. She swept her Spear horizontally, forcing several adjacent opponents to repeatedly retreat and secured the newly appeared Spiritual Objects into her Storage Bag, quickly withdrawing.

Having broken through to the Foundation Establishment Middle Stage, Li Qinghong was considered strong among the Cultivators. Repeatedly gaining spoils, she had already attracted quite a few gazes. Looking around, several people nearby seemed to intend to team up.

Though Li Qinghong was not afraid, she understood the principle of quitting while ahead, controlling the lightning to slowly retreat, flying to the periphery of Qing Song Island's waters until the figures in the sky gradually dissipated.

She had allied with the Han Family from East Sulphur Island, originally with a good plan. However, as the situation between heaven and Earth changed unpredictably and the Spirit Mechanism became obscure, a variety of Spiritual Objects descended, and everyone was scattered in an instant, snatching the objects for themselves and quickly losing sight of each other.

This place was where Cave Heaven and the mortal world blended, revealing many strange grey clouds that interfered with Spiritual Sense, making it even harder to find the Han Family. Li Qinghong only managed to save a few of the Han Family's juniors within her capacity, quickly making a tidy sum before swiftly departing.

Unable to ally with the Han Family was not necessarily a bad thing for Li Qinghong. After all, she was stronger, and she could reap plenty on her own with the Immortal Mirror, not having to share with others, which was rather comfortable.

She tightened her hair and landed on a piece of rock in the sea, her Spiritual Sense sinking into the mirror.

Before she could fully assess her surroundings, she saw a wavering azure light come from the illusory realm, roaming uncertainly in the mirror, shedding its azure gleam and transforming into an ordinary-looking Talisman Seed that lingered within.

Li Qinghong's hand gripping the Spear suddenly tightened, whitening. She stood stunned for a long time, then hurriedly rose on the wind, flying towards the small island where Li Xuanfeng had entered Cave Heaven.

The island was desolate, with no signs of anyone or traces of battle. Li Qinghong stood there for a moment, wiped the corner of her eyes, and pondered,

"If my elder brother has met with misfortune, the second uncle must also be in a difficult position. I'm not sure what the situation with Cave Heaven is. It would be best to try to wait here for him to come out... If he's seriously injured, at least he can be looked after..."

...

As Li Yuanjiao died, his Immortal Foundation dispersed, and the might of the Zifu Spirit Instrument swept over quickly. Li Yuanjiao's body gradually disappeared in Li Xuanfeng's hands, turning into green rain that fell.

Li Xuanfeng was left empty-handed, with only a Longsword, a Jade Bottle, and a plain black-patterned Storage Bag.

He hung these three items at his waist and took out a Jade Box from the Storage Bag. His lips hummed, and the green rain above quickly fell into the box, collecting into a box of grey-green Spirit Water that gently swayed.

The phenomena within Cave Heaven were light and thin. The shallow green rain fluttered for a while before quickly scattering and disappearing, leaving only the grey clouds to disperse.

With Foundation Establishment's death, one's remains are often returned to heaven and Earth. In South River, there's a custom to bury relatives, typically using the leftover Spiritual Objects as substitutes. Xiao Yongling stood by, watching, with his hands clasped behind his back.

He watched silently as Li Xuanfeng put away the Jade Box. The blood on Li Xuanfeng's hands had already stopped. He hung the Green Ruler Sword at his waist, stood still for a moment, then took flight, and at a mountain peak, he saw the body of Yu Muxian.

Yu Muxian had died at the moment of being slain, his body had already cracked in half, and fine, sharp little Golden Needles were flowing out of his meridians, littering the ground with glistening, pine needle-like gold.

His once graceful face now lay shredded like sliced fish, showing bright red flesh, his reopening eyes filled with incomprehension, lips slightly parted, covered in blood.
