Falling For My Alpha Stepsister (GL)

Chapter 200: Tracking The Hacker End

While Katie, her Alphas, and the two nuns went off to directly face the older seniors behind the whole cyber theft, Angel and April stayed behind at the house because April was not feeling too well.

Clara noticed that April looked uncomfortable, so she warmly invited both women inside her quiet home. The warmth indoors was a welcome change from the cold outside, and April was more than happy to sit down and rest for a while.

April settled comfortably on one of the main living room couches, while Angel sat right at the edge beside her, constantly trying to comfort her tired Omega. She kept a close eye on April, making sure she was comfortable and had everything she needed.

Meanwhile, Philip was crouching behind one of the larger couches, secretly spying and hiding from the guests. Despite having already admitted his involvement in the cyber theft, the young boy still seemed reluctant to face everyone properly.

Clara’s wife quickly brought out refreshments for the two guests on a tray, placing everything on the table before joining them in the living room.

"I still honestly can not believe that you, Angel Morningstar, is actually married and even have a kid on the way right now... this is a fucking dream to me..." Clara said, shaking her head as she sat directly opposite the couple while her wife handed her a glass.

"Clara, please remember our son is right in this room, watch your language..." Clara’s wife gently reminded her, pointing her eyes back toward Phillip, who was still hiding behind the couch.

"Opps, I mean a fugging dream..." Clara quickly corrected herself with a slight grin.

"Hahaha, and who on earth would have ever imagined that Clara Greyson has settled down even with a kid of her own..." Angel said, laughing softly.

"Actually two kids... our little daughter Mercy is currently out with my sister-in-law, she is three years old by the way..." Clara said proudly.

Her wife went to stand by the nearby dining table, leaving the old friends to catch up.

"So is she the exact girl who you defended and bashed that son of a pitch for back then...?" Clara asked, looking directly over at April.

"No, she is not Abigail, this is April... and April, that is Clara, one of my closest friends back in military school."

April and Clara warmly exchanged greetings, and Clara soon began talking about how she and Angel had first become good friends during their military days.

As the conversation continued, Clara’s wife finally managed to get her young son out from behind the couch. She encouraged him to approach April and properly apologize for what he had done.

The small boy sincerely apologized with a low voice, looking embarrassed as he stood before the woman whose business he had helped compromise.

Angel playfully blamed his high intelligence straight on Clara because that exact field was her specialty back in the military. Clara had worked mainly as an Intelligence Analyst, handling technical data and gathering information, so Angel could not resist teasing her about passing those abilities down to her son.

April was super kind to the young gentleman, who seemed very shy around everyone. Rather than making him feel worse about his actions, she accepted his apology and allowed him the chance to speak without feeling overwhelmed.

Clara also apologized again and explained that she was going to limit the boy’s daily screen time from now on. She had no idea that the laptop she had bought him as a birthday gift was actively being used for a malicious act by her son and his older seniors at school.

She had bought it hoping he would use it for his studies and develop his interests, never imagining that it would become part of such a serious problem.

While Clara’s wife was busy entertaining April about the whole journey of motherhood and sharing her own personal experience during childbirth, Angel and Clara stepped outside onto the front porch to talk quietly about old times.

The cold air brushed against them as they stood together, enjoying a little privacy away from the conversation inside.

Angel asked her if she had heard anything from Anita ever since their military days together. Clara clearly said she hadn’t heard a single word from her ever since the time Anita Goodman contacted her, wanting to recruit her for a massive secret project. Clara had firmly refused the offer because she had a family and strictly wanted to be by her family’s side.

Angel then informed Clara that Anita Goodman was still actively working on that exact project, and that the Alpha was making a very huge, dangerous mistake.

The revelation left their conversation heavier than it had been moments earlier. Their shared military history made the subject difficult to dismiss, but neither woman continued discussing the matter for long.

Their wives soon came outside and interrupted them, and the four of them returned indoors together.

Hours passed before the rest of the group finally returned to the house in the deep night.

Katie and the twins were completely silent, all three of them giving Florence a total horror look. Whatever they had witnessed during the confrontation had clearly left them with plenty to think about.

It turned out that the older seniors involved had actually carried out cyber theft against many innocent people online, making the crime their main daily business.

Florence had not wasted much time listening to excuses. She simply demanded the exact total amount they had stolen from April and Katie.

The seniors underestimated her because of her clothes, making the mistake of assuming that a nun would be easy to intimidate.

They soon discovered how wrong they were.

Florence gave every single one of them a serious, brutal beating, leaving them horribly injured. After forcing them to reverse the stolen money straight back into the store business account, she dealt with them further, brutally torturing them and teaching them such a massive lesson that they were forced to repent their evil ways and choose to be good guys from then on.

They were literally left lying half dead on the floor.

By the time everything was over, the stolen funds had been recovered, and the group could finally put the exhausting ordeal behind them.

Everything was finally settled completely. April and Katie got all their stolen money back safely, Angel reconnected with an old friend, the twin Alphas had finally settled their silly differences, and April was still obsessively asking her wife that exact same awkward question on the ride home.
