Arisha immediately gathered mana, her bow ready as she hung in midair.

Her yellow eyes locked onto Abigor.

She drew the bowstring to her cheek, and a brilliant azure glow spread across the arrow. The mana condensed around its shaft, making it shimmer like a sliver of blue crystal.

Then she released it.

[Sky Hunter — Second Form: Thousand Feather Rain]

WHOOSH!

The azure arrow shot forward.

But before it could reach Abigor, its form began to change. The single arrow split apart, multiplying into more than twenty mana arrows that spread across the sky like a flock of blue birds.

Each arrow followed a slightly different trajectory, covering Abigor’s possible escape routes.

Moreover, the gravitational force pulling Arisha toward him had accelerated their approach. The arrows shot forward with even greater speed, closing the distance in an instant.

Abigor’s eyes narrowed.

He abruptly reversed his gravitational field.

BOOOOOOM!

An invisible shock wave erupted from his body.

The incoming arrows were violently pushed away, their trajectories disrupted. Several exploded into azure particles, while the rest scattered harmlessly across the battlefield.

However, Abigor had been forced to interrupt his previous attack.

That brief opening was enough for Arisha.

She swung through the air, using the momentum from the interrupted gravitational pull to reach a nearby tree. Her boots scraped against the bark as she landed on a thick branch.

Her breathing quickened. ’That was close!’

She had spent a considerable amount of mana on that attack, yet it had failed to inflict even a scratch on her opponent.

Abigor clicked his tongue. "You’re more troublesome than you look."

His attention shifted back to the two swordsmen below.

Damien and Ken had managed to stand again.

Damien’s sword still glowed with golden light, although its radiance had dimmed considerably. His chest rose and fell with each labored breath, and his arms ached from repeatedly blocking Abigor’s overwhelming attacks.

Ken was in an even worse condition. Blood stained his clothes, and he could barely conceal the trembling in his arms. His earlier injuries had worsened, and every movement sent sharp pain through his body.

They were exhausted. They were injured and feeling pain all over body. And the difference in strength between them and Abigor remained painfully obvious.

Yet neither of them retreated.

Damien glanced at his friend. "Can you still fight?"

Ken wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. "Do I look like I have a choice?"

Damien gave him a strained smile. "Fair enough."

He turned back toward Abigor. "Then let’s keep him busy until help arrives. I think Instructor will come looking for us."

Ken nodded.

Neither of them knew when Instructor Morgana would arrive, or whether she could reach them before Abigor finished the fight.

But they had to buy time. Above them, Arisha nocked another arrow.

Her fingers were beginning to ache, and maintaining her water spells while resisting Abigor’s gravitational field was rapidly consuming her mana.

Abigor studied the three students. His expression was unreadable.

Then he laughed. "Hahahaha! You really don’t know when to give up, do you?"

He spread his arms. The gravitational force surrounding him grew heavier, pressing against the ground until the stones beneath his feet sank.

"Fine!"

His violet eyes blazed. "Come at me again! I’ll crush every last one of you!"

Damien raised his sword. Ken assumed his stance, keeping his katana close to his body.

Arisha drew her bowstring to her cheek, a faint blue glow gathering around the arrowhead.

None of them believed they could defeat Abigor through strength alone.

But together, they could still fight. And as long as they could fight, they weren’t going to surrender.

Morgan raced through the streets at inhuman speed, moving so swiftly that ordinary people wouldn’t even have noticed her passing. Her cold eyes swept across the surroundings, searching for any sign of her missing students.

"Dammit! Those boys! Why are they always looking for trouble?!"

As an instructor, she had once failed to save her students when they had needed her most. She had sworn never to let such a thing happen again.

And now, once more, her students had managed to throw themselves into danger.

Fortunately, the situation within the city wasn’t quite as dire as it might have seemed. Most of the elves had already been evacuated, while the royal knights were searching for enemies who had infiltrated the city and disguised themselves among its inhabitants.

Meanwhile, arrangements were underway to establish a teleportation gate that would allow the academy students to return safely to the Human Empire.

If necessary, Morgan could even request assistance from the academy’s principal, provided he was available to help the elven queen.

She had already sent a message to the academy, informing them of the current situation.

Yet, despite everything that was being done to contain the crisis, three of her students had managed to disappear.

Noah, Damien and Ken. Well, technically, Arisha was missing too, since she had secretly followed Damien.

Morgan’s expression darkened. ’Sigh... This time, they’re making things unnecessarily difficult for me.’

When she had first heard about the situation from Lyria, she had immediately prepared to search for Damien, Noah, and Ken.

Unfortunately, before she could begin her search, she had encountered someone she hadn’t expected to see.

Elowen Silaris. The woman worked under Eldrian, and she had arrived with some rather alarming news.

One of Morgan’s students, the white-haired boy had been spotted flying through the sky on an big ice sword, heading straight toward the World Tree.

According to Elowen, one of the enemies was hiding somewhere in the sky, another was fighting the queen outside the city, and several others were concealed within the city itself.

Neither Elowen nor her companions had been able to stop Noah. The boy was flying too fast, and none of them had been able to keep up with him nor they could fly, leaving their work behind.

Meanwhile, Eldrian and the other powerful mages were already occupied. On eastern wall of city, while others were desperately trying to extinguish the mysterious flames consuming the World Tree.

There was little chance of getting their assistance anytime soon.

Morgan couldn’t help but press a hand against her forehead. ’Just what goes through that boy’s head? Does he think he’s invincible?’

As someone who had reached the mid-stage of the Astral Core, Morgan was a formidable person in her own right. Her strength was more than sufficient to handle most threats within the city.

That was precisely why she had decided to act herself.

After hearing Elowen’s report, she immediately instructed Elowen and Brandon to search for Damien, Ken, and Arisha.

Then, without wasting another moment, she set off to find Noah.

And now, as she approached the outskirts of the city, she finally caught sight of them.

Two figures were flying high above the ground.

One was undoubtedly Noah, his snow-white hair fluttering in the wind as he rode a massive ice sword through the sky.

The other figure remained suspended in the air, seemingly unmoving.

Yet the situation was far from peaceful. Numerous blood-red spears streaked through the sky, relentlessly pursuing Noah from every direction. Their sharp tips glinted ominously as they cut through the air, each one threatening to pierce the young man’s body.

Morgan’s cold gaze sharpened. There was no mistaking it.

Noah was being hunted by an enemy powerful enough to fly and he was facing that enemy alone.
