He had noticed what Arisha was attempting.

Rather than attack Abigor’s body directly, she was creating openings for them.

’Nice work, Arisha!’

Damien rushed forward.

[Flash Step]

Golden light erupted beneath his feet.

His body shot forward in a brilliant streak, crossing the distance between himself and Abigor before the demon could fully recover.

Damien swung his sword. Two intersecting golden slashes shot toward Abigor from different angles.

The demon’s eyes narrowed. He immediately raised both arms.

[Gravity Distortion]

The space around him twisted.

One of the golden slashes bent away from its original trajectory, while the other slowed dramatically as it approached his body.

Abigor stepped aside.

The first slash passed harmlessly by.

He then struck the second with his palm, dispersing it into golden particles.

"Annoying!"

His gaze snapped toward Damien.

"You’re starting to irritate me!"

He thrust his hand forward. A powerful gravitational force seized Damien’s body.

But Damien was prepared this time. He swung his sword downward.

BOOM!

A burst of golden light exploded beneath his feet, pushing him sideways against the pull.

The sudden movement disrupted Abigor’s control just enough for Damien to break free.

He landed several meters away, his breathing heavier than before.

’That consumed more mana than I expected.’

Damien gripped his sword tightly.

Every time he used his magic to counter Abigor’s gravity, he had to spend additional mana simply to keep himself moving.

If this continued, he would eventually run out. And judging by the demon’s expression, Abigor had not exhausted.

Abigor spread his arms. The mana surrounding him erupted with overwhelming force.

RUMBLE!

The entire street trembled. Broken stones, wooden planks, and fragments of collapsed buildings rose into the air. Even the branches of nearby trees began bending toward him.

Arisha’s eyes widened. ’He’s gathering everything around him!’

"Damien! Ken! Get away from him!"

She immediately drew an arrow and infused it with water mana. A concentrated stream of water formed around the arrowhead.

She released it.

WHOOSH!

The arrow shot toward Abigor’s shoulder.

At the same time, Damien charged from the front while Ken forced himself upright and moved in from the opposite side.

Three attacks, three different directions. And three opponents who refused to give him a moment’s rest.

Abigor laughed. "That’s more like it!"

He clenched his fist. His body glow in violet hue. A huge magic circle appeared beneath his feet.

[Gravity Collapse]

BOOOOOOOOOOM!!

The gravitational force in the surrounding area compressed violently. The flying debris accelerated toward the center, converging around Abigor like a storm of stone and wood.

Arisha’s water-infused arrow was dragged off course. Damien’s body suddenly grew several times heavier, forcing him to slow down.

Ken felt the same pressure slam into him, threatening to crush him into the ground.

Yet none of them stopped.

Damien gritted his teeth and poured golden color mana into his legs.

Ken forced his trembling muscles to move, his katana held firmly in both hands.

And Arisha, despite the pressure weighing down on her body, continued to draw her bow.

BOOM!

Damien’s sword collided with a chunk of stone, cleaving it in half.

SHING!

Ken’s katana flashed, cutting through another piece of debris before it could crush him.

Above them, Arisha changed her position among the branches, using the trees to maintain her distance while keeping Abigor within her line of sight.

She drew three arrows at once. Two were infused with water, while the third remained unenchanted.

Her yellow eyes tracked the shifting gravitational field.

’His spells affect everything within a certain area. But his control isn’t equally strong everywhere.’

She had noticed that the gravitational pressure was strongest near Abigor’s body and weaker toward the edges of the field.

That meant she couldn’t overpower his magic directly. But she could exploit the gaps in his control.

Arisha released the first arrow and then the second. Finally, she fired the third.

The ordinary arrow flew straight toward Abigor’s face, forcing him to react. The first water arrow curved through the air, its trajectory altered by the gravitational field.

The second followed behind it. Abigor raised his hand to deflect the ordinary arrow. At that instant, the first water arrow burst apart.

SPLASH!

A cloud of water droplets spread across his face and armor. Before he could react, the second arrow passed through the scattered droplets.

Its tip struck his shoulder.

CLANG!

The arrowhead failed to penetrate his armor, but the impact forced him to shift his stance.

Ken saw the opening.

His eyes sharpened.

’Now!’

He dashed forward, ignoring the pain in his injured body.

His katana swept horizontally.

[Tenchi Style: Second Form—Crescent Severance]

The blade curved toward Abigor’s exposed side.

The demon immediately moved to block.

But Damien had already reached him from the opposite direction.

Golden light enveloped his sword as he launched a powerful thrust toward Abigor’s chest.

The demon’s expression darkened.

If he defended against Ken’s slash, Damien’s attack would land.

If he turned to face Damien, Ken’s blade would cut into his side. The three students had forced him into a genuine dilemma.

However, Abigor was still far stronger than any of them individually. And he had no intention of allowing their teamwork to corner him.

"Don’t get carried away!"

He slammed his palm against the ground.

[REPULSION]

BOOOOOOM!!

An immense force erupted from his body.

The shock wave swept through the street, shattering windows and tearing apart the remaining wooden structures.

Ken and Damien were struck almost simultaneously.

Their attacks were disrupted, their blades forced away from Abigor’s body.

Damien was thrown backward, his boots scraping across the ground as he struggled to maintain his balance.

Ken fared even worse.

His already injured body was hurled into a pile of broken timber.

"ARGH!"

His katana slipped from his hand and skidded across the stones.

Meanwhile, Arisha was forced to abandon her position.

The shock wave shattered the branch beneath her feet, sending splinters flying in every direction.

She jumped to another branch, but the sudden movement disrupted her aim.

By the time she regained her balance, Abigor had already turned toward her.

His violet eyes glowed.

"You’ve been irritating me from the beginning, little archer."

He raised his hand. Arisha’s body suddenly lurched forward.

"Ah!"

She grabbed the branch with one hand, but the gravitational pull grew stronger.

The wood began to crack beneath her fingers.

’He’s pulling me toward him!’
