Evolution Online: Building a Kingdom with 100\% drop rate
Chapter 292: Ch-292: Titans (End)
He rubbed his temples, thinking about Faceless. Even though he had tried to uncover his identity and recruit him, he hadn’t found a single clue.
---
Victor looked coldly at the Titan and unleashed his Yang Flames at 40% power, sending a pillar of blue flames shooting into the sky.
The Titan eyed Victor warily, roared, and swung its fist toward him.
"Heh." Victor raised his hand and hurled a large blue fireball at the Titan.
BOOM!
An explosion erupted, shaking the nearby buildings as if an earthquake had struck the city.
"The fuck?" Rachel cursed as she swallowed hard and felt like her heart was about to burst out of her chest as she looked at the small mushroom cloud.
Yes, she had seen destruction on this scale in the game, but not in the real world... No, actually, she had seen it in the real world during the invasion, when Faceless fought and made his first public appearance.
"Holy..." Even Andrew was in the same state as Rachel, his eyes widening in shock. Faceless was one thing, as he was the top player, but he, like Rachel, did not expect such power from Victor’s Bloodline.
A thought popped up in Andrew’s head. ’His Bloodline might be second only to Faceless, but why is he ranked lower than us? Is he being lazy, or did they initially place him at a lower ranking?’
Even Olivia’s pupils constricted to the size of needles upon seeing the devastation caused by the attack, and her expression turned ugly as she thought, ’If that attack landed on me, I... probably couldn’t have defended myself.’
She imagined the blue flames striking her, and her face turned grim. If she relaxed, she would have been reduced to cinders and directly vaporized without leaving even a trace of her body. In Olivia’s mind, Victor’s danger level shot up by 20 levels and was now just below Faceless.
"She is also stronger than me," Olivia mumbled bitterly as she looked at the black ice on the other side of the city where Amber had killed the Titans. She could not have accomplished the same feat with her normal Ice Bloodline.
’Well, I still won’t give up... I refuse to believe I can’t catch up with Amber.’ Olivia thought as she bit her lips and looked ahead. The fight was still not over, as more Titans had been attracted to the commotion and were heading toward Victor’s direction.
---
Victor looked at the devastation caused by his attack, clicked his tongue, and muttered, "I should have held back more. Well, I can use the armor to cover up my strength as long as I can."
Even though he had controlled the output behind his attack, the attack caused a crater to appear where the Titan had been standing, and the Titan had completely disintegrated out of existence as blue flames spread across the ground like a wildfire.
Roar!
Roar!
Roar!
Numerous roaring sounds immediately caught Victor’s attention as he looked upward and saw multiple Titans moving toward his direction in a pincer attack.
"Well, I won’t get my hands dirty. This will be more than enough," Victor said in an indifferent tone as he raised his hand. A large amount of blue flame spewed out of his palm, taking the shape of a bird.
"Yang Phoenix, go and destroy them," Victor said as the blue flaming bird let out a chirp, flapped its flaming wings, and flew toward the Titans.
Whoosh!
"Sir Victor, can Miss Lilith also fight?" Lilith appeared from Victor’s shadow, hopped onto his shoulder, and continued with an eager expression, "Miss Lilith is bored. She has not fought for a long time. Miss Lilith wants to command the shadow army and attack."
"Nope," Victor immediately denied, as this ability was recorded as one of the abilities of Faceless, and using it would be a dead giveaway.
"But Miss Lilith wants to fight," Lilith said pitifully.
Victor’s eyebrows twitched when he saw this and said, "Fine, you can go, but don’t use your shadow powers."
Lilith’s eyes lit up as she jumped off Victor’s shoulder and dashed toward the Phoenix. "Wait, stupid bird, Miss Lilith is also joining you!"
The Phoenix did not even look at Lilith, as its intelligence was not very high.
The Titans immediately noticed the Phoenix and tried to swat it away, but it dodged with grace and then looked at the Titan, opened its beak, and spewed a large amount of flames straight toward the Titan.
The Titan did not stand a chance as it was consumed by roaring blue flames and reduced to ashes. The Phoenix then turned its eyes toward the other Titans, which were charging toward Victor, and repeated the same process.
Just as it was about to kill the last one...
Crackle!
Blue electricity crackled as the place where the heart was completely destroyed, and Lilith jumped out from the hole and said, "Miss Lilith stole your kill, stupid bird!"
The Phoenix ignored Lilith and moved toward the Titans that were fighting the heirs. Not wanting to be left alone, Lilith also followed.
---
Crackle!
"Huh, what the hell was that?" Andrew exclaimed as he looked at the Titan he was about to attack, but before he could do anything, it dropped dead with a hole in its chest.
"Haha, Miss Lilith killed another one!"
Everyone’s eyes turned toward the source of the voice, and their eyes nearly popped out when they saw a cat giggling.
"Olivia, pinch me. Am I seeing this, or did a cat kill the Titan?" Rachel said with her mouth hanging open.
"Ah... I think I’m also seeing the same thing." Olivia’s cold mask cracked as she uttered those words.
"Haha, Sir Victor will definitely praise me." Lilith said as she moved toward the next Titan to kill.
"This cat... is it Victor’s pet?" Andrew said with disbelief as he looked at the girls.
"It could be a contracted beast," Olivia said with a frown.
"Damn, not only is he strong, but he even has such an OP cat. Is he favored by the heavens, or is he the brother of Faceless?" Rachel said with frustration.
"Well, now that you mention it, he could be his brother," Andrew said in a low voice.
---
"Damn," Mathew was sweating heavily as he saw the Titan, which had grown five times larger than before, and said with frustration, "Just how do I kill this?"
Mathew had been trying to kill this Titan, but every attack was absorbed by the Titan, which used it as fuel to grow.
Just as he was thinking of running, he heard a screech and saw a bird made up of blue flames flying toward his direction.
"Is this another enemy?" Mathew said as he swallowed hard, but much to his relief, the bird spewed flames toward the Titan, and under his disbelieving gaze, the Titan was reduced to ashes.
"What the hell just happened?" Mathew said, still trying to process the situation.
---
Victor looked calmly as the Phoenix and Lilith wiped out the remaining Titans within the span of minutes.
Step. Step.
He saw Amber, along with Ruby, Valerie, and Ellie, walk toward them, but the last three had their eyes fixed on Lilith more than the Phoenix.
"Did a cat just kill what we couldn’t? Sister, I’m not seeing things, am I?" Ellie said with hesitation.
"No, you’re seeing it right," Ruby replied with her mouth open.
"Holy shit, you never mentioned Lilith was this strong, Victor," Valerie said. She had seen Lilith before with Victor but did not know this little creature was so strong.
"Miss Lilith has always been strong, lady," Lilith said, arriving just in time to hear Valerie and speaking in an arrogant tone as she jumped onto Victor’s shoulder.
Whoosh!
The Phoenix also appeared in front of Victor.
Step. Step.
Everyone looked toward the source of the footsteps and saw Lance arriving with a squad of Awakeners.
"I heard the city was being attacked. Where are the Magical Beasts?" Lance said nervously as he saw the devastation.
"You are too lightheaded, Headmaster. They have been dealt with by Victor," Ruby said with a complicated tone.
"Huh?" Headmaster Lance’s eyes widened, and he turned stiffly toward Victor, who just smiled at him and said modestly, "Hah, it’s because of the boost from the armor I’m wearing. Not a big deal."
’Not a big deal, your head, you smug bastard.’
Except for Amber, everyone looked at Victor like they wanted to punch his smug little face.
---
Two Days Later
Victor was sitting in his mansion and looking at the crystal that was the key to entering the dungeon he had won at the auction.
"Well, it’s about time I go and check out the dungeon," Victor mumbled as the crystal lit up with a blue hue, and a row of text appeared on his retina.
[Do you want to enter the dungeon Dwarven Crater? Yes/No]
"Yes."
Whoosh!
As soon as Victor confirmed his choice, a swirling blue, glowing portal appeared before him, and he stepped inside.
